The End Is The Beginning Is The End

'There base should be over this hill.'  Hermione explained, 'At least the last I checked.'

'Just over that hill?'

She turned to look at Veatris, and smiled, 'Yes--'

She blinked stupidly, and felt her smile freeze on her face.

Because in seconds she watched the face of her lover melt into...

The face of Lucius Malfoy.

He bowed deeply to her, 'Thank you, Miss Granger.  I wondered if we would ever find this bloody resistance, but we could not, were it not for your betrayal.'

She shook her head, 'N-No.  Where's Veatris?'

Lucius ran a hand through his long, silvery hair before crossing his left arm and resting his head thoughtfully on his right hand.  'Oh?  You mean the doctor?  Unfortunately he met with an accident immediately after visiting you.  No one will ever find his remains, I'm afraid.'

She shook her head slowly, 'No...no....we were going to escape.  We did escape...He loved me...'

Lucius raised one pale brow, 'Love you?  How could anyone love a worthless mudblood like yourself?  Ah, but I have prepared another surprise for you. All that really mattered was that you lead us in the right direction.  If you look over that hill, you will see what remains of your resistance.'

Hermione fell to her knees.  She was going to be sick.  She could feel it. It wouldn't be the first time too.  But now her tummy felt awful. 

'Lies.'

He leaned a little closer, 'Come again?'

'LIES!'

He pinned her to the ground, and mumbled something beneath his breath.  She watched before her eyes as his appearance changed to that of her beloved.

Lucius's voice came out, 'Still think I am lying? Tell me, how does it feel knowing that the person you've freely given your body to was me?'  He licked the side of her face, ignoring the tears and sobs, 'Did you like it?  When Lucius Malfoy made you cum, and you gave him such sweet kisses, how did it feel?  Please, tell me Ms. Granger.'

'I hate you...'

'What was that?'

'I HATE YOU!'

She launched herself at him, only instead of it being Veatris with Lucius's voice, it was Lucius again, and she began to pound her fists into his chest and face.  She punched him until she had no more energy, and she just cried and cried.

He turned her head up to his, and kissed her.

And she had to pull away because she was going to vomit.  He kissed just like him.  Exactly like him.  Oh god, how could she not have noticed?

He grabbed her arm and pulled her up the hill, through the trees.  And he pointed.  'See what you have done?'

There was devastation, as far as her eyes could see.
