Chapter 40 Snippet (Severus and Hermione Test Their Crucio Charm)

After the crucio test is finished:

The two of them slumped against the wall, panting in pain and waiting for the recovery potion to repair the damage done with curse. 

“You.”  Hermione inhaled and exhaled.  “So want… to have sex… with me… right now.”

Severus closed his eyes for a moment and replied, “you are an irritating and obnoxious child.” 

Hermione chuckled.  “I’ll bet you say that to all the girls.”  She forced herself to her feet with a groan.  “Come on, old man.”  She held her hand out. 

Ignoring the hand, Severus struggled to his feet.  “If you are allowed to name call, I am as well, you bushy headed chipmunk.” 

“I didn’t call you names!  That was just a statement of fact.”  Hermione grinned and put her hands on her hips.

With a raised eyebrow, Snape muttered a spell at her.  The floor underneath her became glassy and she fell on her butt with a startled squeak.
