The End Is The Beginning Is The End
40.The Confrontation, Part I
Draco descended upon Veatris the moment he left her room. 'When my father hears of this, there won't be a single trace left of you.'
Veatris crossed his arms and watched with one eyebrow raised, 'Oh really?'
'Really.' Then Draco leaned closer and touched his arm, 'Unless, of course, you beg for forgiveness and come back to me.'
Veatris looked at Draco's hand before brushing it off as it were diseased. 'You stalk my footsteps over a little girl? Really Draco, where is your pride? You remind me of your mother--'
'Don't you dare speak to her!' Draco raised his wand to hex him, but Veatris was faster. He easily disarmed him and pointed two wands at Draco, who now was pressed against the wall, unmoving.
Veatris did not raise his voice but it kept low, 'I don't want to see you sulking in this area again, Draco. In fact, you would do well to stay out of my sight and not leave to chance a little incident like this happening again.'
Draco fell to his knees, and angrily cried, 'Why? Why are you doing this?!'
'Let's just say that there's something she can give me that you cannot. You may have met some of my baser needs but she fulfills far more.'
Veatris turned on his heel and left, taking Draco's wand with him.
