Epilogue
Fifteen Years Later
Harry sat at the teachers table watching as the first years were sorted. He smiled as his eyes roamed the room. His twins, James and Sirius sat laughing at the Gryffindor table. His beautiful daughter, Molly, was waiting to be sorted and he wasn’t sure where she would land. He was willing to bet it would be in Hufflepuff. She was studious like Hermione, but not the know-it-all. She was shy and reserved and definitely not an attention seeker. She was content to blend into the background.
Hermione’s twins, Ginny and George Jr. or more affectionately called JR, were sitting next to them. She and George had two more sons’, Fred and Justin, still at home. They were mischief-makers like their father and uncle and Harry knew exactly where they would go when it was their time.
Ron oldest daughter, Star, was in Hufflepuff, as was his second daughter, Moon. His third daughter, Aquarius, was waiting patiently to be sorted with the others. Ron and Luna also had three other daughters, Misty, Brooke, and Ronni still at home. The youngest was her father in reincarnate. They had the same mannerisms and personality, and she was the apple of her father’s eye. Harry suspected that she would be a Slytherin, but wisely kept that to himself.
Draco’s oldest daughter, Cissy, was in Ravenclaw, much to the disgust of her father and his son, Harry, was a Gryffindor, much to the delight of his mother. His youngest child, Lindsey, was in line to be sorted. She had potential to be a Slytherin.
Fred and Pansy had seven sons. The oldest three, Matthew, Mark, and Ryan, were already enrolled and all were Gryffindor. They had a set of twins, Alastair and Adairius, who acted a lot like their mother and Harry suspected that they would be in Slytherin. The youngest two, Damian and Octavius, were too young to show much personality yet.
The last child that Harry noticed was Violet Malfoy. She was the spitting image of her father and brother. When Lucius married the Muggleborn, Alabaster, the Wizarding world was shocked. Not only was she Muggleborn, but also she was a widow was six other children. What had shocked everyone even more than that was how she had tamed Lucius. It was obvious to anyone around them how deeply in love they were. You could also see the mutual respect that they shared. Violet had been sorted into Gryffindor last fall and Lucius didn’t even raise an eyebrow at it.
“Lindsey Malfoy,”
Harry watched as the girl nervously sat down and had the hat placed on her head. He could see her lips moving and knew that the hat must be having a hard time placing the girl. He saw her eyes raise in a frown and then a big smile across her face when it shouted, “Slytherin!”
Cheers came from the Slytherin table and Harry saw Draco’s smile of relief. “Told you, Potter!” he crowed.
“Well one of them was bound to be a Slytherin,” Harry said wryly.
“Molly Potter!”
Harry sat up straighter and watched his youngest child intently. He kept his fingers crossed that she would go to Gryffindor, but he knew better. The hat had barely hit her head when the hat shouted, “Slytherin!”
“What!” Harry shouted.
Draco laughed. “It was bound to be one of them, Potter!” he mimicked.
“Bugger off, Malfoy!” His little angel was a Slytherin! That damn hat obviously needed to retire!
“Alastair Weasley!”
The red headed boy sat on the stool and the hat never even reached his head before it shouted, “Gryffindor!”
“Adarius Weasley!”
Again the same thing happened. “Gryffindor!”
“Don’t all Weasley’s go to Gryffindor?” Malfoy mumbled.
Harry snickered. “Not all. So far none of Ron’s has.”
“Aquarius Weasley!”
Together Harry and Draco watched the girl slowly walk to the stool. She was her mother’s daughter and already lost in her own little world. Neither of them was surprised when the hat shouted, “Hufflepuff!”
He would owl Ron later and let him know. He and Luna wouldn’t be surprised he was sure. He almost felt sorry for Ron living in a house full of women. He probably didn’t get a moment peace. He remembered once being told that real Weasley men only produced sons and wondered what that said about Ron who couldn’t produce one after six tries.
He thought of Arthur and Molly Weasley and how much he missed them both. After Molly and Ginny died, Arthur just couldn’t get over it. He died in his sleep less than a year later. To this day, he still missed them both.
He and Felicia had named their only daughter Molly Lilith after both of his mothers. Felicia was so easy going that she didn’t care what the baby was named. Surprisingly, they had gotten along famously and married after their six-month trial period. They had three beautiful children and couldn’t have been happier.
Draco and Harry became inseparable. The friendship between them was strong and they even named their son’s after each other. Sirius Draconis and James Arthur were well loved by their godfather, Draco. Harry Lucius was also well loved by his godfather, Harry. The two drove their wives crazy with their constant dares and crazy stunts.
Hermione turned down the teaching position at Hogwarts. She instead went into business with her husband. She found that George was great at inventing and horrible at business. She took over the management of the business, and Pansy took over the marketing aspect. The two brothers devoted all their time to inventing. They had expanded all over the world and now had 37 different stores.
Katie and Felicia spent their time taking care of their children and husband. They both agreed that their husbands were twice the work of the children. The four of them spent most of their time together and even purchased estates that were side by side. Katie got over her fear of Lucius. He had came to her and apologized and because it was obvious to her that he had changed she offered him her forgiveness.
Alabaster had encouraged Lucius to forgive Rose Parkinson for her part in his abduction. Gwarp had disappeared and if it hadn’t have been for Rose, they never would have met. Lucius agreed that what he had done to Rose was wrong and left it at that. He never pressed charges, but he didn’t forget it either. He warned her to stay clear of him or there would be consequences. Rose convinced her husband that they should move to France to retire and it worked out well for everyone.
Harry took over the position as DADA professor and Draco took over as Potions Master. Harry was the house head of Gryffindor and Draco of Slytherin. They were both as competitive as ever, but they didn’t let that stand in the way of their friendship. Now instead of it being bitter rivals, they were enjoying the competition.
Life couldn’t get any better for them!
