Coward

Chapter 4

He knew at once that it must have been Potter, and knew the game has been set into motion… that there wasn't a way to stop what was undoubtedly coming, what he had always known to be inevitable at this occurrence: war. It would only be a while until Voldemort himself would get into Hogwarts… a nearly insignificant stretch of time until war hit, both sides of an old and endless power field coming together and dueling until death. Lives of both sides would be lost, and he had never been so foolish as to believe he would make it through. Of course he never would have believed that even Voldemort showed himself as a coward and let the snake finish him.

War came… soon. Who would have imagined to see the Gryffindor lioness as a mother figure, despite being old enough already to have been his mother for sure… She had been far from one, though. He had fucked her intensely… multiple times in his dirty mind, too. No mother, thus. Yet she had been able to soothe him in ways his own mother never had, when he had found himself buried deep inside her.

The last image of her was one of fury – somehow the emotion which he had always thought rendered her most enticing.

The last he saw before his eyes fell shut forever was the sight of the boy who eventually would make sure to end it all and ensure it hadn't all been for nothing… the son of the woman he had loved for nearly all his life alone.

The last image that flashed through his mind before he fell into an endless sleep was a memory… the memory of something he had seldom seen and had considered more special for that reason: Minerva's smile.

They were more alike than they themselves would have ever guessed, nor anyone… except for Albus, and he found that amusing enough.
