Hermione worked diligently for the next three days on her different problems. Many times she missed meals.

“Severus what on earth have you been doing. You appear to be suffering a double hernia. How can that be?” Poppy Pomfrey asked, “you did not show any sign of this during your last examination.”

“Uncle Severus are you okay? What happened?” Draco walking towards his bed asked.

“I will be fine. Apparently I have a double hernia. How I acquired it within seconds, I do not understand. Did you feel any strange magic?” Snape asked.

“Well I will leave you to your visitor Snape. I have things to do.” Remus said with a smirk. Severus nodded in understanding.

“Now Draco, did you feel any magic before or while I was taken with the pain?”

“No nothing. One moment you were taking Lupin to task, the next you were rolling around the floor.” Draco said.

“Alright Draco, don’t worry about it. I know it looks as though magic as breached Hogwarts, but it could have just been some magic residue.” Snape said not believing a word of what he’d said, “changing the subject, have you healed?”

“Yes thank you. The balm and potion worked within twenty-four hours. Have you been called? If you have did you see my father?”

“No I haven’t been called Draco, however, Lucius fire called me. He is very angry with me for snatching you from Malfoy Manor and bringing you to Hogwarts. I still do not understand how that urgent note got on my desk.” Snape waited for a reply, all he got was a shrug of the shoulders. Madam Pomfrey came back then, shooing Draco away she started to tend to Snape.

After three hours Snape was allowed to return to his quarters. No sooner had he arrived back, than Tonks and Remus flooed through.

“Are you alright? Was it the Dark Lord? Remus told me it was a double hernia, Severus do you think our play making had anything to do with it? Hermione slowly made her way down to the dungeons, she needed some shavings from a sharks dorsal fin. She crept into the potions classroom and carefully opened the storage cupboard. Making sure the wards were nullified, she charmed a small sterilised vial. Emptying some of the fine shavings of fin into the vial, she heard laughter coming from Snape’s private quarters.

“Nope, nothing at all. But, when I get hold of who or what is doing this they will wish they were dead. It’s the first time in days we have been able to be together. Not to mention that the rash was the same colour has my hair. There was one thing though, Hermione Granger as been in your store cupboard. Have you been giving out detentions before the school even opens.” she asked her lover with a laugh.

“No I have not. Now that is interesting, this morning I say something to Remus, and I end up in the infirmary. Tonight we starting loving and getting down and dirty with our Remus, and both of us is covered in Poison Ivy? Coincidence? I don’t think so.” Severus said.

“I think we had better have a word with Miss Granger, and to get to the truth, I think a drink which is spiked with Veritaserum might also be a good idea.” Severus said smirk.

“Sev we can’t!” Remus stated.

“I agree Sev, Remus it’s the only way. Listen remember she was moved to Hogwarts because of undetected magic being found near to her home. Since then, no magic as been found. Now all of a sudden, magic which is undetectable is happening in Hogwarts. Yes Severus you are right.” Tonks said to the dismay of Remus.

“Alright, but at least give me the chance to talk to Hermione. If I get no- where, then I will agree to your plan.” Reluctantly his lovers agreed.
