To Devour The Soul

A/N: I need to warn you guys that there is some Bella and Edward Bashing in this chapter but they will grow to be friends in the future. I just couldn’t let Harry/Jaden suddenly befriend Bella when she played Jacob like she did. Just thought I would warn you.

Oh and his school schedule is going to be set up in a block schedule format, which means that mon, wed, and fri he has only four class period (not counting lunch) that are core class (english, math, science, and history). On Tues, and Thurs he has elective classes (art, drama, p.e., study hall) Thats the way my scheduel was in high school so thats the way I am setting it up since I know what its like. I dont know how some people can deal with 8 classes every day.

One last thing lunch detention is a real thing. At my old school if you did something that wasn't major but still called for punishment the teacher would assign luch detention, basically you went to the cafeteria bought your lunch and the brought it back to the teachers classroom where you ate in silence and wasted the time you normally would spend with your friends. Cruel I know. ^.^

Jaden's eyes snapped open when he felt the heavy weight crushing his whole body.

'Damn it let me sleep.' Jacob shifted onto of the smaller boy, cuddling close he tucked his face into the side of Jaden's neck.

"Come on green eyes, you have to wake up now it's your first day of school babe."

Jaden had to push Jacob's buttons just a little since he was waking him up. Jaden sensuously stretched out his lean body, rolling his hips up into the body above him, and let out a deep groan.

"Oh...Paul."

Jaden cracked open one eye and had to laugh at the incredulous look on the other boys face. "It's not funny, you thought I was Paul?"

Jaden rolled his eyes at Jacobs pout. "It was a joke, you know ha ha. You were supposed to laugh."

Jake stared at him for a minute, and then a huge grin spread across his face. Before the smaller boy could get out of the way, Jake flopped back down and cuddled in close.

"You shouldn't treat me so badly. I saved your life after all; you should be confessing you undying love for me."

Jaden was saved from having to stutter out a response by Billy yelling up the stairs. "Brat get off the squirt. You're both going to be late if you don't get a move on."

Jacob sat up with a scowl on his face. "How do you know that green eyes doesn't have me pinned to the bed trying to take advantage of me?"

Billy loud snort could be heard all way up stairs. "I might be old but even I know you're the real pervert up there. Now get off him so he can get dressed. You have enough tardies as it is no need to make the squirt late too."

Jacob winked and hopped off the bed. "I've already had a shower so it's all your's. We have about an hour before we have to leave."

With that Jacob bounced out of the room. Jaden let out a yawn, gathered his clothes and made his way to the bathroom. Once he was in the shower he let his thoughts wander back to Saturday after Jacob pulled him off the cliff.

After Jake led him back to the beach everyone went back to playing in the water. None of them seemed to mind the fact that they, two boys, had kissed. What did that kiss mean anyway? It was obvious Jake was attracted to him, but was he trying to start a relationship with him?

Before he could work himself into a panic he remembered Dumbles telling him to 'open his mind and relax' while he was here. 'I guess I am going to have to wait and see where this goes.'

The group of friends stayed on the beach until it was too dark to see, laughing and playing with one another.

On Sunday he and Jake had sat at home, while Billy and Harry Clearwater had gone fishing, and watched children's movies. Jaden's favorite had been "The Emperor's New Groove." Laughing loudly at the children's movie while sitting practically on top of Jacob had been one of the best days he had had in a long time. Something about just being able to act like a kid had warmed his heart, he was beginning to love it here.

Jaden stepped out of the shower and flicked his wand to dry himself off; with another flick he charmed his long wavy hair, straight. Focusing on the spell Dumbledore taught him, he shrank his wand to the perfect size to fit on the bracelet he always wore.

He chose to wear his hair loose, letting it float around his face. He pulled on the black shirt with golden angel wings on the back and his favorite super low rise jeans. The shirt was tight enough so that it left about two inches of skin exposed from where his shirt stopped and his jeans started, leaving his spots visible.

Checking himself out in the mirror, he was glad Dumbledore had insisted he had his eyes permanently fixed with one of Snape's potions. With his long bangs covering his scar, the piercings and the change in hair color he was almost unrecognizable. Gathering his things, he crossed back over into his room and pulled on his tall black 20 eye doc martens.

He decided to skip the book bag for today, Jake told him that most kids just used a locker to hold their books and since he didn't have any books yet there was no need for it. He grabbed his notebook and wallet off his dresser and made his way down stairs. When he entered the kitchen Billy let out a wolf whistle. "Looking good squirt, you'll be beating them off with sticks at school. Don't you think so brat?"

Jake sat frozen at the table; spoon raised half way to his mouth. Snapping out of it, he tried to clear his throat but his voice was still a little higher than normal. "Umm you're wearing that to school?"

"Yes what's wrong with it?"

"Nothing but everyone is going to all over you."

Billy waved Jaden over to the table. "He's right squirt, now sit down and eat you to have to leave soon." Sticking out his tongue at Jake, Jaden sat down as Billy push a plate over to him. "Thanks wheels."

Billy smiled behind his newspaper "Hush squirt and eat." Jaden quickly finished his breakfast. "Bye you two, have a good first day squirt. Brat no detentions today, I mean it." Jacob rolled his eyes and closed the door.

"Do you get into trouble a lot Jake?"

"Oh so now you can tell the difference between me and Paul?"

Jaden looked at the other boy curiously as he got into the car. 'What the hell is wrong with him? I thought he was over that.' They rode in silence for a while, until Jaden couldn't take it anymore.

"Jake it was a joke. I was just trying to get you back for waking me up."

"Well I'm sorry it was my ugly face you had to see instead of you precious Paul."

Jaden tried to grab Jake's hand but he shook him off. "You don't have to pretend with me. I don't want you to act all lovey-dovey with me and lead me on but really like someone else. If you want to be with Paul go ahead I won't stand in your way."

They had finally pulled into the school's parking lot, and Jaden quickly got out and walked over to Jake's side. He snatched the door open, yanked the bigger boy out of the car, and pushed him up against the door.

Wrapping one arm around Jake's waist and fisting a handful of hair in the other, he tugged to boy's face close to his, and pressed a kiss to Jacob's strong jaw. Standing on his tip toes he stretched up so his mouth was next to his ear

"Look I am not the kind of person to play games with people's emotions. If I wanted Paul I would be with him, so since I am here with you obviously I want you. I didn't dream about anyone else last night but you, and if you tell Leah I said that I'll kick you straight in the bullocks got it".

Jacob chuckled and pressed his face into the side of Jaden's neck. "I don't really know what a 'bullocks' is but I'm just going to take it as a threat to kick me in the balls. Now can you answer one question for me?"

"Anything."

"Was it a wet dreams?"

Jaden flushed and bit Jake's jaw and watched the muscle flex. Pulling away with a laugh he yanked on the thick hair in his hand. "Go to school you perv."

Letting go of the other boy's hair Jaden turned and began to walk toward the school. Before he could get too far though, Jake pulled him back by one of his back belt loops. "I think you owe me a kiss before I go babe'"

Tilting his head over his shoulder he pressed a quick kiss to the tall boy's cheek. "There you go now let me go or I'm going to be late love."

Jake smiled and swatted him on the butt before he jumped into the car and peeled out of the parking lot. 'Show off.' With slow and steady steps, Jaden made his way into the school.

He stopped at the front office to pick up his schedule and attendance sheet for his teacher to sign. Studying the schedule he figured the school must run on a block schedule because on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, he had first period English, second period Pre-calculus, Lunch, third period History and fourth period Physics.

On Tuesday, and Thursday he had first period Art, second period Drama, Lunch, third period Gym and fourth period Study hall. Glancing at the clock mounted in the hall he figured he had about ten minutes to find his class. Making his way down the halls he could already hear people whispering to each other about him. 'I should be use to the whisper by now but it's still annoying.'

He finally made it to his English class and made his way over to the teacher's desk. "Excuse me ma'am. I was told to have you sign my attendance letter, it's my first day."

The young woman behind the desk didn't look to be very old, maybe in her mid twenties. She was practically radiating a peaceful aura. "Oh you must be Jaden Wolfe. You have a beautiful accent if you don't mind me saying."

"Not at all ma'am."

"You are so polite. I can't seem to get half of my students to call me anything but 'teach'. Go ahead and take the first seat closest to my desk, that's the only open seats I have left. Once I get the class set on their assignment I will issue you your books, syllabus and give you some notes to copy so you can catch up alright?"

"Of course Ms. Austin." Moving to his seat he watched as Ms. Austin made his way over to the door. When the minute warning bell rang a flood of students made their way into the class, finally the tardy bell rang and Ms. Austin shut the door.

"Good morning everyone, as many of you already know we have a new student with us today. His name is Jaden Wolfe I expect you little rugrats to welcome him here, alright. Now how many of you actually did your homework?" A few students raised their hands but more than half the class only looked down guiltily at their desk. Ms. Austin's evil smirk was enough for Jaden to instantly know she would be his favorite teacher, she had a lot of spunk.

"Well you know what that means. Everyone who did their work put it on my desk and go ahead to the back computers, you have a free period. The rest of you, prepare for the hardest test of your life, and it counts for five quiz grades."

Once the test was passed out Jaden received three books, two he would only need when she told them to bring them, his syllabus and three packets of notes he was to copy and have in his notebook. The class passed quickly and when the bell rang he moved on to his next class.

Once he made it into the hall, he was approached by a light skinned black boy. "Hey you're Jaden right? My name is Tyler." Glancing behind him he introduced his friends. "That's Mike, Eric, Jessica, and Lauren. We just wanted to know if you needed some help finding your way around."

Jaden offered them the friendliest smile he had. "Actually the secretary gave me a map with my schedule so I think I will be alright."

Tyler gave a nod. "Alright man. Umm this might sound weird but do you think you would like to sit with us at lunch. I mean you don't have to but we don't want you to feel left out or anything."

"Sure I guess that would be alright mate."

Jessica giggled when he said that. "We really would like to get to know you better but we better get going or we will all be late. See you later Jaden."

Saying a quick goodbye Jaden moved on to his pre-calculus class. The teacher was an old balding man with a lot of energy for someone who looked to be at least eighty years old. Even with the old man's excitement for the lesson the class was boring and Jaden couldn't wait for it to be over. When the bell finally ran for lunch he wasn't the only student to practically sprint out of the room.

When he reached the cafeteria Tyler and Mike were already in line and waved him to the front. Mike once again was staring directly at the leopard spot on Jaden's hip. Tyler of course had to say something. "Dude if I didn't know any better I would say you had a thing Jaden. Stop staring and ask him already."

Jaden laughed when Mike blushed. "Shut up I was only looking to see if they were only on his hips." Tyler looked at Jaden curiously but seemed just as eager to know. "You know people have been asking me that a lot lately."

When Jaden offered no further explanation, Mike looked like he was about to explode. "Well are they?"

Jaden giggled and stuck out his tongue. "Now what would be the fun if I told you?" Tyler and Mike both gave him the biggest kicked puppy looks they could muster. "Fine you big babies, no they start on my neck go down my back and wrap around my hips see." Pulling his hair out of the way so they could see where the spots started he heard the gasp. He laughed at both boys' awed looks. Of course Mike would ask the age old question. "Did they hurt?"

Jaden simply picked up a tray with pizza and some fruit on it, grabbed his milk and went to pay for his lunch with the other boys hot on his trail. "What the hell kind of question is that? Of course they hurt."

Tyler spotted Eric already sitting at their regular table and led the other two boys over. "Hey guys Jess and Lauren got lunch detention again so they aren't coming."

"What did they do now?"

"Messing with Bella again."

Tyler simply shook his head. "I don't know why they just don't leave that schizo alone."

Jaden quirked a brow at Tyler's reaction to the girls name. "Who is Bella?" Mike cut his eyes at Tyler. "She's the chick he almost killed last year." Tyler punched the other boy in the arm. "Shut up it was an accident!"

Focusing his attention to Jaden's original question Tyler pointed to a gaunt looking girl sitting a few tables down."That's Isabella Swan, but everyone calls her Bella. She is Chief Swan's daughter. She moved here from Phoenix last year and at first she seemed really nice. Then she started dating Edward Cullen, that's the guy next to here with the bronz-ish colored hair, and she totally changed. Her world totally revolved around the douche bag and she abandoned us to hang out with him and his freaky family. You see the Cullens moved here a few years ago but the thing is they were all together. Like dating together, see the blond guy and the little dark haired chick that's Jasper and Alice two of his siblings. Those two are together. He also has two older siblings Rosalie and Emmet who graduated last year. Rosalie and Emmet were together too."

Looking over at the table again he saw Edward was staring him directly in the face. 'What the hell are you looking at you pillock.' As soon as he thought that Edward immediately looked away. 'Weird.'

"Incest much?"

Eric laughed at Jaden's reaction and took over were Tyler left off. "No they are adopted the only two who are actually related are Jasper and Rosalie."

Jaden looked over at the table again and saw Bella practically trying to climb into Edwards lap. "So what's wrong with the bird then?"

"Well when Edward broke up with her she became a zombie. She barely ate and whenever you would say anything to her she would burst into tears. Of course she tried to come back and hang out with us but no one wanted to deal with her while she was like that. She practically sucked the life out of everyone. So after a while she seemed to be coming out of it, she was smiling again and eating normally. Come to find out she was hanging out with his guy Jacob from La Push. Then all of a sudden she disappeared for a few days and when she came back she had the whole Cullen family with her. She ditched us and the guy from La Push and once again Edward is the center of her universe."

Mike spoke up then. "She tries to make it seem like we're the bad guys but she's the one that ditched us in the first place."

Jaden thought back to Jacob's words this morning. He asked him not to 'lead him on.' Suddenly it made sense. 'That bitch played my Jacob.' Sending her his own version of Snape's death glare he focused on the bottle of water in the girls hand and smirked. When the water Bella was drinking shot out of the bottled soaking her completely, whole cafeteria howled with laughter. 'Serves you right.'

While Bella was trying to dry her face, Edward, Jasper, and Alice were staring directly at him. "Piss off, it's not my fault the chit lacks the ability to simply drink water."

Tyler came to Jaden's defense next. "What the hell are you looking at Cullen? Why don't you check on your precious Bella and leave Jaden alone."

Mike jumped in next."Yeah wouldn't want your sweet little girlfriend to choke to death right."

Jaden heard Edward let out a low growl from deep in his chest. 'Humans don't growl. What is he?"

Bella placed her small hand on Edward's to calm him down. "Just calm down Edward, they aren't worth it."

Jaden saw red. "You're the one who's worthless you filthy little slag." Before he lost his temper anymore Jaden jumped up from the table and stomped out of the cafeteria. The other three boys were close behind him. Out in the hall the boys howled with laughter.

"You called her a slag. What the hell is a slag?" Tyler gasped out

"Basically a slut but she deserved it. Jacob is a really close friend of mine, I'm staying with his family for a while, to hear what she did to him really pissed me off."

"Come on my little spit fire, lunch is over and you have history with me next." Tyler threw an arm around Jaden's shoulders and pulled him along to class.

Their history teacher was a stern teacher who expected college level work out of everyone. That was the least of his worries though because the teacher was a big fan of group work so the desk were placed in groups of four and the only group open was with Edward Cullen. Cullen glared at him the entire class period. Jaden knew something about the boy was not right though. Toying with the shrunken wand on his bracelet, Jaden focus on the other boy trying to get a read on his aura.

Seeing the yellow glow around the boy, Jaden knew he was no muggle; muggles don't have a colored aura only pulsing energy surrounding them because they don't possess any magical energy. Picking his brain he could not remember what the sickly yellow color meant, he mentally stored the color in his memory to look up later.

Edward chose that moment to finally speak. "You had no right to speak to Bella like that."

"She had no right to use my Jacob like that."

"That mutt is dangerous and you should watch yourself around him."

The bell rang releasing class and Jaden leaned in close to the other boy. "You're lucky were in a room full of people right now, never call him a mutt again or I will scatter your molecules to the four winds, got it."

Jaden smoothly rose from his seat and glided out of the room. His last period physics class flew by since they were just watching a movie, and before he knew it class was over. He stopped at his locker to get his books he would need for tonight's homework. Stopping at the front office he dropped of his attendance sheet for the day and hurried out front where he could see Jacob was already waiting for him.

"Hey green eyes, how was your first day?" Bending down he pressed a soft kiss to the boy's cheek.

"I called your friend Bella a 'filthy slag' for hurting you, threatened her boy friend for calling you a mutt and made some new friends who are trying to eavesdrop on our conversation right now, but other than that I think it was a good day."

Jake froze when he mentioned Bella, then burst out laughing at the threat to Edward. "You don't have to defend me you know. I'm a big boy I can take care of myself." Looking over at Bella Jaden sent her a vindictive smirk as he slid his hands around to cup Jake's firm backside.

"Stop teasing her babe, everyone here can see that I'm gorgeous and belong to you so there's no need to show off."

At the mention of everyone seeing them, Jaden looked over to Tyler and the rest of the group and saw the smirks on their faces Tyler sent him a wink and got in the drivers seat of his car. 'Well I guess they don't mind that I'm with Jake.'

Jaden blew the group a kiss and got in the car, with a deep chuckle Jacob followed. Like that morning Jacob started the car and peeled out of the parking lot.

"If I didn't know better green eyes, I would say you're a little possessive of lil' ole me."

Jaden's eyes glowed as he took Jake's free hand and kissed his palm.

"I've NEVER like sharing."
