Chapter 4- The Truth and the Twins
Chapter 4- The Truth and the Twins
Harry and Hermione got dressed in their hooded cloaks. Harry called Apollo and took his tail feathers along with Hermione. There was a flash of light and they appear in Diagon Ally. They walked down the street to the Twins newly opened joke shop. Harry had Apollo return to the keep not wanting his pet to be seen yet. When they walked in, they saw they didn't see the Twins. Harry walked up to guy at the counter and recognized him as Lee Jordan. Lee had been the Twins partner in crime all though out Harry's time at Hogwarts.
"Hey Lee. I need to talk to Fred and George in Private if possible." Harry told Lee moving his hood only far enough for Lee to recognize him. Lee without a word lead Harry and Hermione back into the Twins office and left to get them. Harry and Hermione didn't have to wait long for them. Once they closed the door behind themselves, Harry had them to swear the wizard’s oath and then began the story of what had happened and showed him the letters.
"Do you think you can help me building an army? I would love to have you two design some items to keep both Dumbledore and Voldemort on their toes. I will pay both of you, of course. You can even recruit Lee out there if you think he can be trusted." Explained Harry. It didn't take long for the twins to agree to help in Harry and Hermione's army. It did, however, take a while to keep them from pranking Ron and Ginny to death. "Hermione and I have a few ideas what to do with Ron and Ginny, and I don't want you to have to go against your own family let us take care of them. What I really need you two to do is just apply yourselves to recruitment and turn your pranksters’ ways to creating some helpful tools. If need anything ask Dobby. You can have him bring you to the Keep, and we will have a lab just for you two ready at the Keep. You just have to let Dobby know what you need."
"Of course, Harry. We will be glad to help you. Don't worry about Ron though we will just start testing some of our more painful inventions on him. We will however leave Ginny to you two to deal with." Said Fred with a look of shame in his eyes to be related to Ron and Ginny. "We swear we won't breathe a word about his to anyone else in the family." George nodded his head.
"Anyone else you got yet for this army of yours?" asked George. Harry explained the people he had already recruited and the ones that he was planning on talking to as soon as he could. "Harry keep us updated. When do you want us to start recruiting?"
"I want you to wait to start recruiting until at least a month after Hermione and I are in Hogwarts. If anyone wants to know the name of the army, It is going to be called The Army of the Truth." Harry said and looked Hermione to see if she had anything to add.
"Fred and George, we need people that can fight, and we don't care if they use light or dark arts. We have problems with both sides so we might as well recruit from both sides. You need to make sure they will fight along the side of non-humans as well. We are going to be personally recruiting other races." Hermione explained.
When they had all said their goodbyes, Harry and Hermione walked up the street to Gringotts. They told the nearest goblin they needed to see Bill and that they needed to meet with Griphook as soon as possible. He took them to a small office in the back of the bank. They hadn't had to wait long for Bill and Griphook to walk into the room. They exchanged greetings and had Bill swear the oath that had become common place to them recently. They handed Bill the letters. He was disappointed with Ron and Ginny. He was out raged at Dumbledore.
"I see you have a lot to do. What do you need of me, Harry?" Bill asked. He wasn't happy with the situation but he wanted to help Harry right the wrongs done to him. To his surprise it wasn't Harry that answered him.
"We need you to train us and an army of supporters when we get them in curses and defense. Harry will pay you, of course, for your time. We will try not to take up too much of your time so that you can continue working here." Hermione explained and took Bill into another room to tell him the rest.
"Griphook, I assume you know why you are here now. We are recruiting not only Wizards, but anyone that is willing to come to our cause. We are in need of a goblin that would be willing to work for us taking care of the magic creatures for us. He will have to be well versed in a great number of different species. If possible, I would like you to also see if you can get tribes of goblins to join us. We are not going to be fighting for the light or dark arts. We hope when we come out of this to change a few things about this world. I have found that there is way more then Voldemort wrong with this world." Harry told Griphook. Harry kept watching Griphook for a reaction and saw what he thought might be smile. Griphook sat thinking about just what Harry had asked.
"Certainly, Harry. I have a cousin that works down with the dragons that wants to spread his wings with other species. I will also set up a meeting if can with the Tribe Leader. How will I get in touch with you if I can?" Griphook asked Harry. He snapped his fingers telling a goblin to go fetch his cousin. Harry didn't know if it was a good idea to have Dobby or Winky having to deal with any more then they already did and told Griphook that he could call over Apollo to deliver any messages to him. Just then Griphook's cousin walked in.
They caught up Griphook's cousin on the conversation. He introduced himself as Fastclaw. Harry called Apollo and sent Fastclaw off to the Keep. Harry had told him they would start getting the animals delivered to the Keep today. Then exchanging a goodbye to Griphook, he was taken to where Hermione and Bill had finished talking. Harry called Dobby to take Bill to the keep and set him up a room since Bill was never around long enough to have his own place. Harry caught Hermione up on what happened after she left the room with Bill as they left to the bank. They turned and went down Knockturn Ally. They found a shop called The Creature Exchange. They walked in and were greeted by a witch that had scars on every inch of visible skin.
"Hello Dearies. This isn't a place for kids or is there something special you need?" asked the witch.
"Yes we are looking for some questionable and also some safe animals. We need you to pretend you never saw us as well. We will come back here for all our animal needs if you can help us." Hermione explained to the witch.
"I can certainly do that. What kind of creatures are you looking for? My name is Dragonia by the way." Replied the witch amused. Harry and Hermione dropped their hoods to show her who they were.
"We need at least 10 dragons, 10 hippogriffs, and 10 thestrals. It won't be the last of what we need, but it is a start. We will also need the food for these creatures. Please deliver then to Potter's Keep as secretively as possible." Harry said and payed for the creatures. Harry arranged for Apollo to deliver messages back and forth between them and her. Dragonia told them that all but the dragons would be there today and the dragons would arrive before the end of the week under cover of night.
Harry and Hermione left. They walked to the Robe store got themselves and the house elves robes with the Potter and Black crest on them. They called Dobby and had him take them to the Keep. They went to the library where Bill was waiting and they talked about everything they were going to do. Bill found it amusing that Harry was not only building his own army, but a mounted air force as well. The only thing left for the day was to find their military trainer. They wrote some letters to the muggle newspapers to put out an add for a personal trainer with military experience. They hoped that they would find a squib amongst them.
They noticed time had slipped by, and it was sundown. They quickly put up all the books they were reading, and run upstair and went to bed together. It was becoming habit to lie in each others arms, and they were going to have to figure out how they would be able to do it once they got back to Hogwarts. It was at this point Harry decided it was time not only to get engaged, but they would need to get married before they went back to school.

A/N: I know it was a short chapter. I am really enjoying writing this story. I am going to put some real thought into the next chapter. I apologize for not getting to the new information about Ron and Ginny's betrayal. I promise it will be in the next chapter. Thanks again for all of the people that have reviewed my story so far.
