Day Four

A/N: I also forgot to mention last chapter that this features bottom!Draco so anyone who doesn't like that...you are warned! 2) There will be future bits of heterosexuals kissing and touching but i swear its only for a short bit! ... but here: *shows off a burn stake* you may flame me on the spit if you would like 3) no harry/draco anything (except for flirting) in this chapter; instead, i offer up dean/seamus making out. is that okay? 4) this story isn' going the way i planned (but turning out even better than i had hoped) and even though i have up to day ten written out, i'm not sure if it's flowing well. my sister is going to get back to me on this and if anyone has anything that they would like to point out, i'll see what i can do okay?

now...thats it for that...cookies for all the hits on this story (over 700 and only three chapters wow O.O thanks!!) and now review responses!!

discolemonade, slytherinslave: thanks to you both and i hope the updates continue to please ^^

21 October, Day Three

"Did you get it?" Seamus asked his almost (oh, so close!) boyfriend.

Dean smiled and helped up the three vials. "Got them!"

"And Snape didn't see you?" Seamus didn't want to loose valuable time with Dean if Snape assigned detention.

"Nope." Dean had made sure of that, unknowing his thoughts were running parallel to Seamus'.

"It'll be difficult because I'm sure that they will be on guard," Seamus commentated. He wished that they had decided on this prank sooner so as to catch the professors off guard.

Dean shrugged. "It doesn't have to affect them all. Enough that they'll have to call class."

Seamus nodded. "All right then. Tomorrow." He started to make plans to finally ask Dean to be his boyfriend.

Dean smiled, again thinking parallel to Seamus.

22 October, Day Four

"You were hanging out with Malfoy yesterday," Ron said, sliding into the seat next to Harry, "Again." He made it sound like a crime.

Harry sighed and caught Hermione's eye. She looked sympathetic. Harry turned back to Ron. "So?"

Ron's eyes were wide. "So? Harry! He's a Slytherin and his dad was a death eater. And we caught him on a raid during the war!"

"If you're finished?" Harry asked. When Ron glared, Harry sighed. "He spied for us, Ron. And you saw Snape's memories. As well as Draco's. They both took veritaserum to prove it. They're not evil and so what if he's a Slytherin?"

Ron was going to say something more but right then, there was a commotion at the head table. They turned as one to look and saw that the teachers who had actually decided to join the students for breakfast, were sleeping.

"Another day of class lost!" Hermione moaned.

"We need to get Snape," Harry said. It figured that the potions professor would have skipped meals in the hall for fear of more pranks. "He's been headmaster. He'll know what to do."

Hermione nodded and went with Harry to the dungeons.

Snape looked down at them and raised an eyebrow. "I assume the castle is not under attack?"

Harry shook his head. "No, sir. It's just the other professors. Someone caused them to fall asleep. Probably a potion."

Snape sighed and stepped out of his rooms. "Classes I'm sure will have to be cancelled. But, lets go see this."

When they arrived in the hall, it was nearly empty. Some students remained, like Ron, and Madame Pomfrey had arrived. Snape went over to converse with her. After a moment, Snape turned to look at the remaining students. "If some of you could, help us get the teachers to the hospital wing. The others, please spread the word that classes are cancelled again for the day."

Harry, Hermione and Ron all helped Snape and Pomfrey and then they all left for the tower.

"Not that I want to be in class but, why can't they just give the teacher's a potion to wake them up?" Ron asked, "Or even cast ennerverate?"

Hermione sighed. "There is no counter potion for a sleeping potion. It's so no one can disrupt someone who really needs the sleep. And casting that will be too much of a jolt. It can mess with the person's magic or worse."

Ron made a sound of understanding. He looked out at the pitch. "How about Quiditch again, Harry?"

"Or we could go and study," Hermione offered.

Ron rolled his eyes and looked at Harry meaningfully. Harry smirked. "I think I'm going to study, Ron. We at least need to keep up with the chapters we were supposed to read."

Ron shrugged. "It's almost like I don't understand you anymore, mate. Hanging out with Malfoy. Studying instead of Quiditch."

"There's nothing wrong with studying, Ron," Hermione huffed.

"It's true, Weasley," Draco said as he joined them. "It helps you in class when you have trouble mastering a spell or charm."

Ron turned beet red. Draco smiled at Harry. "I heard you said you were going to study. Is it okay if I join you?"

"Of course!" Hermione said, "We'll go to the library. There won't be a lot of students."

"More books to use for reference then," Draco said.

"Come on, Harry," Ron cajoled, "Do you really want to spend the day with these two studying?"

Harry looked at Draco who was looking at the floor. "Yeah, I do."

Seventh Year Dorm...

"Man, I love this idea!" Seamus said as he stretched out on his back, "It's like a holiday week!"

Dean smirked and then blushed when Seamus' shirt rode up and showed off the toned stomach. "I know. The twin's should've done this before."

"I'm sure we'll get extra coursework when it's over," Seamus said, looking upset.

"It's worth it," Dean said.

"I suppose," Seamus said. He sat up on his elbows and eyed Dean. "Can I ask you something? Would you..." He blushed hotly. "Be my boyfriend?"

Dean smiled and pounced on his (yes!) boyfriend. "Yes!"

They shared a steamy kiss and were getting ready to move to heavy petting when the door slammed open.

"Bloody Malfoy, ruining--what's going on here?!"

Dean and Seamus looked up at Ron who looked ready to faint. "We were making out until you interrupted us."

Ron blinked. "You two are...but...seven..years..." He fainted.

Dean looked at Seamus who looked at Dean. Dean got off that gorgeous body and rolled Ron out into the hallway. He then went back into the room and warded it. "No more interruptions," Dean said, "I want to make out with my boyfriend."

"Isn't that a bit cruel, though?" Seamus asked, "We could've just closed the hangings."

Dean shrugged. "Who cares? I know he's been bothering Harry lately about Malfoy so I think he deserves it."

"Hey! Do you think Harry and Malfoy will be getting together?" Seamus asked.

Dean sighed. "We'll talk later, okay? I really, really want to make out with you."

Seamus smiled. "Well, okay. Start with the kissing, then."

Library

"I'll be right back, boys," Hermione said, "I've got to find this one book that'll help Harry with Mcgonagal's essay."

Draco looked at Harry. "You didn't do it either?"

Harry smiled. "No. I played that game, remember?"

"At least it's quieter in here," Draco commentated, "I know Granger is a book bug but I also know she isn't the only one in the school. Wonder why no one else is taking advantage."

Harry shrugged. "Who knows?" He bit his lip. "I'm glad you are studying with us."

Draco blushed. "I'm glad you let me."

"What is this?"

Harry turned sharply and glared. "What is it, Ginny?"

Her ears were turning red. "Why are you studying with Malfoy?"

"We both have to finish an essay Mcgonagal assigned us so we decided to save time and do it together," Harry carefully explained. He was going to explain it later to Draco but until he knew what was happening between them, he wasn't going to say anything about it.

"Is this how the war changed you, Harry?" Ginny asked, eyes swimming, "You want to hang out with evil now?"

Harry sighed. "Draco's not evil, Ginny. And I like hanging out with him."

Ginny started shaking with rage. She whipped out her wand and cast a hex at Draco but Harry was quicker. "I suggest, Ginny, that you get out of here right now."

"Or what, Harry?" Ginny asked.

"Detention, Ms. Weasley." They all turned to look at Snape who had his eyes narrowed.

Ginny huffed and stormed off. Snape raised his eyebrow at the two wizards. "It's a good thing I was patrolling the halls for wayward students. Ms. Granger found me in time."

"Thank you, sir," Harry said.

Snape almost smiled. "That's forty points, I think, for Gryffindor, and twenty to Slytherin. For doing something productive with the day."

As he left, Hermione sat down again. "Did he actually hand out even points?"

Draco smirked. "It seems so. Now, where's that book?"
