The Second Date
A/N: I\'m so sorry I didn\'t get the chance to update yesterday. Unexpected situations arose. Things are moving along for our playful pair, but I can\'t make it easy for them, can I? Thank you so much to all my readers. Just seeing my hit count go higher is a good motivator. I really appreciate the encouragement. So, Harry and Ron will find out soon, and we shall see how things go with those two pig headed brotherly kids. Hope you like this chapter. Again, any suggestions, maybe something in your head you\'d like to see them do...let me know and I will try to fit it into the story if I can.
Ch. 4 The Second Date
Hermione spent the next few days planning the next night out. She wanted it to include both muggle and wizard activities. Flipping through her newspaper, she found an interesting advertisement.
***Twister Tournament, Saturday 3 pm until we have a winner, bring your comfortable clothes and get ready to be pretzeled***
A wicked grin spread across Hermione’s face. Oh this was going to be good, if he was a goodsport and played along. She flooed Draco with the time and told him to dress comfortably. She found herself chuckling throughout the remainder of the week at the thought of Draco bending around on the floor.
Saturday dawned bright and cheerful. Hermione turned over in her bed, allowing herself to wake fully and adjust to the sunlight before getting up for the day.
She smiled to herself as she readied for the date. She had no idea what they were going to do after the tournament, but they would wing it. She was hoping that Draco would play in the tournament with her instead of sneering at it and refusing to do it.
“What are you playing at, Granger?” Draco asked, his eyes wide as he took in his surroundings. There was a huge mat on the floor with colored dots. Someone bozo was spinning something on a board, and people were bending and getting tangled with one another.
Hermione shrugged innocently, “If you are not up to it, Malfoy, just say so and you can watch the master.” In all honesty, Hermione was as limber as a straight board, but she was not going to let Draco know that.
She took his hand and led him to the registration table, knowing him well enough to know that he would not back down from a challenge. She released him when she got their paperwork so that she could fill it out.
Draco glanced at the people already ‘warming up’ for the tournament. Their limbs were all entwined and bending at odd angles. How in the hell was he supposed to bend like that? He was about to tell Hermione that she was on her own when he noticed a girl. Her bum was pressed deliciously into her partner’s crotch. The young man looked all too pleased.
After that, Draco decided to keep his mouth shut and await the tournament with Hermione. They sat side by side and watched the other people in silence. After what seemed like hours a man with a tacky black and yellow shirt came to the floor.
The man droned on about fair play and the rules. After mentioning something about keeping it clean, the contestants were invited on the mat and the tournament began.
Hermione had to give Draco a quick rundown of how the game was played. The basics. He seemed to catch on quickly. They were currently in a very interesting position. Hermione was practically underneath Draco, her back towards the floor, her breasts close to his face. If he sneezed, his nose would get a quick feel.
He was currently up in spread eagle, his arms crossed in front of him. The caller announced, “Right foot…green” Draco nudged his foot over to the next line and smiled at Hermione. She had let a nice long groan out that sent tingles to Draco’s manland.
She had to move her foot to a green dot…damn. The only free one was currently above Draco’s hand. She would have to basically straddle his arm and stretch like mad to reach it. Sucking it up, she slowly began to slide her leg. She bumped into his arm and for one horrifying moment she thought they were going to fall.
Finally, she got in position, then she noticed Draco’s look. He had one eyebrow raised and was smirking at her. She began to regret her decision to bring Draco to something so intimate. At the time she had not taken close proximity and strange positions into account.
Draco knew Hermione had no idea how horny her position was making him. He tried to play it off, but their closeness was really affecting him. Deciding to make her as uncomfortable as he was, he leaned in close to her ear, close enough for her to feel his breath.
“Mmmmm,” he whispered, eliciting a sharp intake of breath from the curly haired witch. He grinned when he noticed her goosepimples. “I had no idea you were so flexible, Granger, we’ll have to get one of these to play by ourselves.”
Hermione jerked underneath him and fell to the floor. Her sudden movement made Draco stumble and fall on top of her. They looked at each other for a moment before bursting into hysterical laughter.
They did not see the point in sticking around to watch the rest of the tournament, so they put their shoes back on and left, still laughing.
“Granger, I never knew muggles had such entertaining ways of playing games.” He shook his head. He would never, in all his life, forget this day. Hermione wiped the laughter tears from her eyes and leaned into him for a hug. “That was fun,” she said into his shoulder.
“So, where next?” she asked after they had both contained themselves long enough to speak plainly. Draco stood back and gave her a quizzical look. “Don’t ask me, you said you were planning this today.”
“Well, how about some ice cream at Fortescue’s?” she suggested. Draco nodded his agreement and the apparated to Diagon Alley from the closest point.
They sat at the small umbrella table and recounted the tournament. They agreed that it was the most fun they had experienced in awhile.
The sun had started to set before the pair stopped their chatting and noticed the time that had gone by. Hermione began to get up before Draco’s strong hand enveloped hers.
“Stay.” He said. “Stay and watch the sunset with me, please.” So together they sat and watched as the last blazes of the sun set the world on fire for the last time that day.
They apparated a little farther from Hermione’s flat than necessary. Neither wanted the day to end. They walked under the moonlight, hand in hand, speaking of trifle things such as work, school, old friends.
As they came to the top of the steps to Hermione’s front door, Draco gently put his hands on her shoulders. “I had a wonderful time tonight, Hermione. I really enjoy being able to let loose with you and have fun.”
Hermione blushed, “I had fun, too, Draco.” She breathed. He was close, he had freckles, so pale they were invisible from afar. She could feel his breath on her lips. Close, all she had to do was lean in a fraction.
“Hermione!” Ginny’s voice drew her face to the side and Draco’s lips fell on her cheek. Damn weaselette. That didn’t go as planned.
Ginny had the decency to look embarrassed before speaking. “Hermione, Harry and Ron are here. They just showed up with pizza and a movie.” Hermione paled. This was so not the time for confrontations. She thanked Ginny and said she’d be right in.
Looking solemnly at Draco, she placed her hands on his cheeks and kissed his nose. “Goodnight.” She whispered in his ear. Draco smiled at her, “I’ll owl you soon, Hermione, goodnight.” With one last smile, she went inside and he apparated home.
