NOTE: Soooo sorry for taking eternity to update. I just got a new pet (leopard gecko- cutest little girl), and have been tied up at work.

Ch4- Changes in motion

Hermione glanced around the compartment. The men, the Slytherins, her friends, and the mysterious girl. Who were these people? She’d never seen them before? “What’s going on here? Are you professors?”

The men turned and the one with the startling lavender eyes smiled, “No, we’re the day companions of this one,” he said pointing at the girl. That only confused Hermione more.

“Companions?” Ron muttered trying to piece everything together.

“Bodyguards,” one of the other men replied making Hermione notice the startling eyes. This man had cat eyes!

“Why do you have cat eyes?” was he a magical creature of some sort? What if they were actually dragon eyes?

“Too much time in my leopard form.”

“ ‘Leopard form’? Is that your animagus? A leopard?” Harry asked.

“No, I’m a wereleopard.”

Hermione gasped, “Wereleopard! Is that like a werewolf? I’ve never heard of anything other than a werewolf before!”

The third man nodded, “Yeah that was before the rediscovery of Vampires and lycanthropy.”

The mysterious girl snorted, “Not to mention Vlads syndrome and Mowgli syndrome.”

Hermione almost purred at how she was feeding her knowledge today, “Vlads syndrome? Mowgli syndrome? What are those?”

The mysterious girl blinked and studied Hermione. Hermione could swear she felt humid air press on and through her. The girl smiled, “They’re syndromes that can be caught when having sex with a vampire or a lycanthrope. I’m Lanna by the way.”

“Hermione.”

Lanna smiled, “And that’s Micah with the kitty eyes, Nathaniel with the lavender eyes, and the plain looking one is Richard.”

Hermione was in awe. Who was this girl? She seamed like she knew all and had that aura about her that gave her an all-powerful look. But that’s just silly no one is all-powerful. Sure a person can be powerful but there’s always something or someone more powerful.

“What are you?” Hermione asked.

Lanna smiled, “I’m a witch. Obviously.”

Hermione dropped it. “Anyways…it was very lovely to meet you all. However, there’s still a Prefect meeting to attend. Especially since we’re so close to Hogwarts.”

Malfoy sighed, “Alright, Granger, we’re going.” Malfoy stood up and swooped out of the compartment.

Ron nodded, “See you at the feast, mate.”

Harry nodded.

“Bye, Harry.”

“Let me follow you out of the compartment,” Harry stated gesturing to Pansy and Blaise.

Lanna looked at them too, “Do you mind if I tag along, Harry?”

Harry blinked, “No not at all.”

“We’ll just go back and join Haven in our compartment,” Micah stated.

“See you later,” Nathaniel nodded.

“Alright.”

Richard didn’t even bother saying a thing.

Lanna smiled at Richard, can’t be a complete bitch. She turned and walked next to Harry. “So, Harry. You and Draco could use a knife to cut the sexual tension,” she said in a low tone.

Harry gaped, then hissed out, “Wwhaaat?!”

Lanna smiled, “Just kidding. Don’t take everything I say so personally!”

“That’s a weird thing to joke about.”

“It’s my way of feeling the situation. I thought I’d go with the most shocking possibility first.”

Harry stared quizzically, “How is it even a possibility? I’m not gay, and I don’t think Malfoy is either based on the way he looked at you.”

“You or he or both of you could be bisexual.”

Harry blinked, “What?”

Lanna stared, “Bisexual…bi…into both sexes? Never heard of it?”

“Uh no…”

“Oh, you’re a sheltered one. Don't worry. With me around you won't be sheltered for long."
