Chapter 4
Despite the fact that they had moved back to Hogwarts, Harry still felt like they were still living in Tom’s home…
Down in the dungeons there was a row of three chambers for Professors to live in, each chamber consisted of a bedroom, bathroom and living room. So in the first chamber was Sirius and Severs, in the next was Fenrir and Remus and in the last was Tom and, although he was still a student, Harry.
Dumbledore had tried to argue that Fenrir and Remus would be a danger to students on the night of the full moon, but since Severus made the Wolfsbane Potion for both of them, this argument wouldn’t convince Percy.
Tom was very well liked, both by the students and the other Professors. He was making much needed changes to the school and basically making Dumbledore worthless.
Of course, peace couldn’t have lasted for long, with Tom pulling the school out of Dumbledore’s control. Something was bound to happen.
One day, after a full moon, Dumbledore stumbled across the mangled body of Ronald Wesely, which was lying on the front law of the school. Upon showing the other Professors the body, Dumbledore announced that it must have been the work of Fenrir and Remus while in their werewolf form… the two professors were locked in their chambers while the Minister of Magic and the Aurors (sp!) were called.
As the Minister and his head Auror looked at Ronald’s body, Tom took out his wand and, before Dumbledore could object, cast a spell that made glamours vanish. Instantly the ‘bite marks’ on Ron’s body vanished and it was clear that he had been killed using Advada Kadvera.
“Dumbledore…” Tom practically whispered. “You were the first to discover the body… I think your wand should be tested first.”
And so it was… Dumbledore had killed Ron and then made it look like werewolves had done so… he’d been planning on framing Tom for ordering the boy killed…. When this was discovered the Aurors had to hold Arthur back from killing the elderly wizard with his bare hands.
Within days Dumbledore, under truth serum, admitted to killing and maiming dozens of people while blaming Tom for their deaths… he also admitted to killing James and Lilly Potter…
Since Dumbledore was now in Azkaban, the position of Headmaster was given to Tom, who was now cleared of any and all wrong doing.
When Harry graduated he stayed at Hogwarts, not fulfilling any real job, although everyone called him the assistant headmaster… even though everyone knew that he was really just Tom’s mate….
And, as in all good stories, they lived happily ever after.
The End
