Hogsmeade
Okay, Ivory forgot to mention this last chapter but, for those who don't know football in the UK is soccer in the USA. Other countries, I don't know about. Thought I should clear that up. So, this chapter will start with Rose's date with the random Hufflepuff guy that my sister didn't name, right? She really didn't name him.... Huh, go figure. Moving on! ~Ice
"Hey, Rosie?"
"Yeah Al?" It was Saturday morning and Scorpius and Albus had come to obviously come to take me down to the Enterance Hall.
"Your date, what's his name?"
I stopped dead in my tracks. "Oh gods! I don't know! Shit! Quick, where's Aiden?"
"What makes you think he knows?" Scorpius asked.
"He knew this guy's a Hufflepuff and he wasn't wearing his robe or tie." I explained.
"He already left." Al supplied.
"Shit! Oh, what am I gonna do?" I moaned.
"What's wrong Rose?" I whirled around to face a fellow Ravenclaw.
"Damien! You remember that guy who asked me out last Saturday? I was sitting with Al and Scorpius." Damien nodded. "What's his name?"
"You don't know his name?" I shook my head and Damien burst out laughing.
"It is not funny, Damien! Tell me damn it!" This could be so embrassing if he didn't tell me. Why didn't I realize I didn't know his name A WEEK AGO?
"His name is Quinn MacMillan. He's the Hufflepuff Keeper"
"I thought he looked vaugely familiar. Thanks D!" I grinned and hugged him really quick before heading back off with Scorpius and Albus. "If I find you two in Madame Puddifoots, I'll have you both commited to St. Mungo's. Understand?" I was only mocking them, knowing neither would willingly set foot in that place.
"Shut up." They said together. I grinned and made my way over to Quinn. "Good morning, Quinn." I greeted.
"Good morning, Rose. Ready to go?" I nodded and the two of us began the walk into town. "Are Scorpius and Albus not coming with us?" He asked.
"Oh no. This is their first Hogsmeade trip as a couple so I'm leaving them to it." I smiled at him. He was a good few inches shorter than me I realized as we walked side by side. "So tell me, why did you ask me to go with you?" I asked, sure I'd never seen him in any of my classes.
"Honestly, you're brother dared me to. Don't get me wrong, you're really pretty and all, but you're two years older than me and not really my type anyway." He explained. "Why'd you say yes?"
"Well, I have a bit of a policy. Anyone who willingly asks me out with Al and Scorp there, I'll go on one date with. You asked in front of a packed Slytherin table." I answered, just as truthfully.
We made it into town and Quinn started leading us to the Three Broomsticks. We talked, mostly about Quidditch as we both played Keeper.
"Why is it that, even if it looks like you're not gonna make the save, you always do?" He asked.
"The whole team practices in the off season as well, not just when everyone else does." I smiled, not telling him we didn't practice Quidditch.
"You do? Even in the winter?"
"Well, in the off season, we practice in the Room of Requirement." I let him in on that part of the secret.
We fell into a silence. "Have you ever seen the inside of the Shreiking Shack?"
I nodded. "Every Potter and Weasley has, as far as I know." I smiled, remembering Scorpius' fear of it. Almost the same instant, my smile became sad, remembering the huge blood stain just outside the tunnel enterance into the house. My uncle Harry had told Albus about it and he told me and Scorpius.
"What do you think the blood stain is from?" Quinn asked, as if reading my thoughts.
"Probably from the werewolf who used to transform there." I lied smoothly, covering my sadness in a way I'd learned from my Slytherin friends.
We sat together for a while longer before finally deciding to roam the town. "Is it true your dad works there?" Quinn asked as we passed the Hogsmeade branch of Weasley's Wizard Weezes.
"Yep. He works in the London branch though, with my uncle George. I think my aunt's working today though. Wanna go inside?" I asked.
"Sure." He nodded.
"Hi Aunt Angelina!" I called when we walked in and I saw her standing behind the counter.
"Hello darling." She hurried over and hugged me. "Who's this?"
"This is Hugo's friend Quinn that he dared to ask me out." I smiled at Quinn. "Quinn, my aunt Angelina. She's Fred's and Roxy's mum." He knew Roxy, I was sure. They were in the same year. She was a Gryffindor though, but I didn't think that matter much since he was friends with Hugo.
"Hello Quinn. It's nice to meet you."
"And you, Mrs. Weasley." He smiled at her.
"There you are Quinn! Oh, hi Rose."
"Hi Hugo." I grinned at my little brother.
"I told her mate."
"What did you do that for?" He demanded.
"I asked him and he answered truthfully." I spoke before Quinn could. "Well Quinn, it's been grand, but I have to find Scorp and Al. Bye now, boys!" I waved and left the joke shop.
I wandered around town a bit till I came across Samatha and Aiden. "Hey Rose! Already ditched the Hufflepuff, huh?" Aiden grinned.
"Shut it, Aiden. His name's Quinn and he's my little brother's friend. Hugo dared him to ask me out."
"Damn Gryffindor. Can't leave well enough alone." I smiled at Sammi. That summed up my family well enough. Deciding against finding the two boys I started walking with Sammi and Aiden. "Mind if I tag along?"
"Not at all." Sammi smiled at me. "How are they doing, anyway?"
"Good. Adjusting to actually being able to kiss each other without worrying if the other will freak out or not." I smirked. Sammi shook her head with a smile.
I didn't catch up to Scorpius and Albus until I got back to the castle. They were at the top of the stairs, waiting for me. Of course, they asked about the lack of Quinn and when I explained what Hugo had done, they laughed.
The following morning, I snuck into their dorm early in the morning and jumped on Scorp's bed. He hated it most, so it made sense. "WAKE UP!" I shouted, knowing how lightly both of them slept.
"Damn it, Rose! What do you want?" Scorpius demanded.
"It's Sunday."
"So?" Al questioned blearily.
"So? SO?! Do you want me to tell Sev you decided to skip out on him? I'm sure he'll be thrilled over that." I hopped off of Scorpius' bed as the two boys shot up. "I'll be in the common room." I turned and walked out into the Slytherin common room and sat to wait for them.
"I thought I heard you sneak in." Ivory, Ice's twin, came down the dormitory steps.
"Wasn't being very sneaky if you heard me, was I?" I grinned.
"Guess not. Come to wake up the boys, I assume?"
"Of course. It's Sunday." I replied as if that explained everything and it did, really. Everyone knew we weren't around for most of the day on Sundays but they didn't know where we went.
"Ready when ever you are, Rosie." The two boys hurried down the stairs.
"Let's go then." Together, we walked deeper into the dungeons into what was once Severus Snape's quarters. Our current Potions Master had his quarters a floor above.
We sat to wait on the couch in the sitting room area. We weren't waiting long. "Hello all."
"'Morning Sev." I smiled at the deceased Potions Master. We spent every Sunday with him and if we needed him, all we had to do was call.
Originally, he came to watch over Scorpius and Albus and we couldn't see him. After our first year though, I noticed his presence on occasion and called to him. Since then, he's become visable, only to us. I don't think Al's ever told him what his dad said about him though.
Sometimes Severus told us about our parents at school, most of it rather believable, although he did tend to make it seem like every fight Uncle Harry and Mr. Malfoy got into was completely Uncle Harry's fault in one way or another.
Other times, like today, he taught us things. He'd taught us wandless magic, how to become animagi, and today was attempting to teach us wordless spell casting. But about our animagus forms, I'm a bengal tiger, Al's a blank panther, and Scorp's an albino leopard.
"Hey Sev, how come you came to watch over me and Scorpius?" Al asked before we left that day.
"To make up for past mistakes, I've told you that already" He answered.
"Yes, but what do you mean?" Scorpius asked. Sev didn't answer, just waved and disappeared.
"Why's he always do that? It's not that hard of a question to answer." Al grumbled.
"Let's go ask him." I suggested.
"What are you talking about, Rose?" Scorp looked at me.
"Simple. The Head's portraits can't lie. All we have to do is ask his portrait what mistakes he would've made that would make him want to watch over the two of you." I started leading them out of Sev's quarters.
"Yeah, but who says Illusin will let us up there?" Al asked.
"Let's ask him." I gestured to the Headmaster standing a few yards in front of us. "Al, ask here if we can go up because you want to meet your two namesakes. It just didn't occur to you before now to do it."
Scorpius and I stood behind Al as he asked, "Headmaster?"
"Yes, Mr. Potter?"
"I was wondering if perhaps Scorpius, Rose, and I could go to your office? I just realized today that I could meet both of my namesakes that way instead of just hearing stories about them."
He narrowed his eyes slightly at us. "The password's Eclipse."
"Thanks, Headmaster!" The three of us dashed off to his office.
A/N: And , I'll let Ivory take it from here. :) Please please please take the time to review, guys! Thanks!!
