The Wedding And Starving Doggie

A/N:
Yes Hermione is totally out of character in this story but remember she is at least a decade older than she is in the books. She has matured and gained confidence. She speaks her mind and doesn’t care what people think.
I was writing this on the train home from London. It was actually to pass time and I was like hhheeeyyyy let’s write Hermione’s and Remus’s wedding!

Four Months Later

“We stand here today, gathered in this circle to welcome this beautiful couple into matrimony. If anyone objects, speak now or forever hold your peace.”

“I OBJECT!” one Ronal Bilius Weasley roared from the distance.

“My, my... did anyone hear anything?” the minister asked, everyone shook their head. “I thought not. We bond together in love, and soul but importantly we bond together in friendship and trust. Without either we never get far. I join you with red ribbon, symbolizes passion, courage and strength.” A red light twirls around the couple’s hands. “I bond you with blue to symbolize truth, protection, hope and honour.” A blue light twirls around the red light. “I bond you with pink to give you compassion, harmony, love and tenderness.” A pink light surrounds the other two lights. They glowed brighter and brighter until everyone had to cover their eyes. When the light died down, everyone opened their eyes to see Hermione and Remus glowing in the mixed lights. “And you may kiss the bride.”

Remus gently covered Hermione’s lips with his own. Someone in the crowd whistled at the kissing couple.

“Get a room!”

“Are you willingly to pay for it, Sirius?” Remus asked.

“You wish!” Sirius said, winking at Hermione. He was actually paying for their hotel room.

They all gather into the dining room of Grimmauld Place. In the last few years, Sirius has redecorated the place. Bachelor-style.

In the dining room, laid out was a buffet filled with all kinds of food, courtesy to Mrs. Weasley and the Hogwart`s House Elves. In the center of the buffet table, sat a three-tier wedding cake, with the likeness of Hermione and Remus figured on the top.

“Doesn`t this look yummy?” Sirius said, bouncing up to the tables.

“It is.” Mrs Weasley said, smacking Sirius’s hands away, “Don’t touch, unless you’re ready to settle down with a wife, you can’t serve yourself first.”

Sirius paled at the mention of settling down. Ever since he came back from the Veil three years ago, he has been on a rampage. A different girl each night.

Hermione and Remus swept into the room.

“About time.” Sirius whined. “The doggie is ssstttttrrrraaavvviiinnnggg.”

“Did you know that it is rude for a dog to eat near the dinner table?” Hermione joked.

“Ooooo, you wound me with your harsh and mean words.” Sirius said, pretending to grab at his chest in pain.
Remus laughed at the antics of his best friend and wife.

“Settle down, Sirius. We’re getting there.” Remus chuckled at the pouts forming on Sirius’s face.

“Whew, you cook up a wonder as always, Molly.” Sirius said, letting out a huge burp.

“Sirius! Where are the manners your mother taught you?” Molly scolded him.

“I threw them out the window.” Sirius grinned. “I prefer to keep Hermione at the table.” He wiggled his eyebrows at Hermione. Hermione rolled her eyes in answer.

“Mine.” Remus said jokingly, growling at Sirius.

The two men looked towards the woman in the middle when they heard her gasp.

“Oh my god. The baby just kicked.” Hermione said excitingly. She grabbed Remus’s hand and pressed up against where she felt the kick.

A/N: Just posting this for now. Perhaps a chapter or two left. Not really that good with multiple chapter stories but I’m trying!
