CHAPTER FOUR: The Quill Box









***A conversation between friends****







“Your wife saw me naked.” Sevrus said out of no where as he sat on the sofa staring into the fireplace in Lucius’s study.





“How in the hell did Hermione see you naked?” Lucius asked, frowning slightly from the other end of the sofa.





“I was swimming, and she walked in on me.” He said, sipping his firewhiskey and smiling at the memory.





“Severus, why were you swimming naked in my pool?” Lucius asked.





“I always swim naked in your pool.” He replied.





“I wasn’t aware, or I’d have had them boil the water after every visit.” Lucius replied rather drolly.





“I thought she’d run away screaming. I was disappointed when she just stood there staring at me.” Severus said with a frown.





“She’s a difficult one to shock. I keep trying myself, but she just rolls her eyes at me and moves on.” Lucius said as he toed off his shoes and propped his feet on the table in front of him.





“So how is it?” Severus asked.





“How is what?” Lucius asked, looking over at his friend for the first time since the odd conversation began.



“You know..” Severus made a vulgar gesture, sliding the index finger of one hand in and out of the ring he made with the fingers of his other hand. “how’s the shagging?”





“Non existent. I haven’t taken her to bed yet….I’ trying to be a gentleman and give her time.” Lucius answered.





“Have you done anything with her? Blow job? Hand job?”





“Why are you so damned curious about my sex life?” Lucius growled.





“Never thought you’d end up with a muggle bride…especially one you tried to kill.” Severus said.





“Yeah, never dreamed when I held my wand on her that day that one day in the future it would be her holding my wand for me.” Lucius said, smiling evilly as he recalled the incident in the Department of Mysteries.



“She’s not holding it yet my friend.” Severus said. “Though the way she was staring at my equipment, I think you should get a move on before it’s someone else’s wand she’s holding.”



“She wouldn’t dream of it.” Lucius scoffed.





“I don’t know, those young witches, they can be hard to keep satisfied, and you aren’t getting any younger. Now me, I’m still younger than you.” Severus said, laughing at the angry scowl on Lucius’s face.





“Not by that much, and you’d be wise to keep away from other men’s property.”





“Don’t even go there Lucius, we’ve shared too many women over the years for me to even begin to think you are offended that I might play with this one.”





“Those women were not my wife.”





“Ok, good point. Don’t think I could get it up for this one though….she was my best student, it would be a little too pervy, even for me.” Severus shivered slightly as though the thought of it gave him the willies.



“Somehow I think you could get past it, just for the sake of novelty.” Lucius laughed.





“Your probably right.” Severus sighed, as though there were no hope for him.





“Damn but I do feel old around that one Sev. It’s a shame too, I hadn’t realized how old I was until she came along. I remember our days at Hogwarts like they were yesterday!” Lucius was half pissed and wallowing in his memories.





“Speaking of our days at school, I found the quill box.” Severus said smiling.





“No!” Lucius looked up, his eyes wide and lit with amusement. Severus snapped his fingers and the little gold quill box appeared in his lap.



“I found it when I was inventorying the Slytherin common room. Can you believe none of those little idiots had found it in all these years? It was still behind that brick in the fireplace, I nearly fell over when I found it.”





“Is there anything in it?” Lucius asked.





“Yup….wanna take a stroll down memory lane?” Severus asked with a waggle of his eyebrows.
