Lunch and Letters
A/N: Sorry it took so long but here is my next chapter. A warning I may get one more chapter up before August then I don't know when I will be able to post more because of life.
Severus frowned was he had dismissed his class. He was expecting that the coot would be coming in soon as he did with all his sixth years. He always wanted to know the results of the Famille potion and there was nothing Severus could do to prevent the man from learning of Harry’s results. It was at this moment there was a knock on his office door. He placed Harry’s results on the bottom of the pile with a slight frown. He would have to report this discovery to the Dark Lord for sure.
“Come in Albus.” Severus growled as he prepared the parchments once more. He was glad he didn’t have Neville in the class and not having Ron with Harry’s house switch was also a bit easier. Albus walked into the room and looked at the pile of parchments.
“So any surprises this year Severus?” He asked calmly. Severus looked at the man wondering if he knew about Harry’s true father or not.
“Only one Albus. The pile is there if you want to look through them.” Severus said motioning to it. The Headmaster soon took up the pile and frowned when he noticed Harry’s was not on top. He had requested that of Severus.
“Severus where are Harry’s results I asked for them to be on top.” Albus said with a slight frown. Severus took a slow deep breath shaking his head. He then looked at Albus before away grumbling.
“It’s the bottom parchment Albus.” Severus growled out. Albus frowned as he pulled the bottom one out from under all the others. He then quietly and quickly read the parchment. His elderly skin paled as he read it then looked at Severus.
“Severus was this double checked?” Albus asked suddenly fearing what this could mean. Severus sighed at Albus’ reaction then imagines what is going to happen when this news hits the papers.
“Yes Albus this was double checked against another student’s potion that was proven correct.” Severus stated with a slight frown. Albus nodded his head then looked at Severus.
“So where is the second parchment?” Albus asked with a frown. He needed to get rid of the evidence and oblivate Harry from this knowledge.
“I believe Potter took it with him. He seemed very confused. Did you know about this Albus?” Severus asked. Albus turned then shook his head slowly. He had had no idea that Harry was Voldemort’s child. It didn’t fit Lily had been deeply in love with James.
“No I didn’t and I don’t see how it is possible that it has happened.” Albus admitted causing Severus to frown. Severus felt something niggling at the back of his mind something he had forgotten. Severus frowned then blinked remembering that at one point Lily had been captured by the dark lord. He stiffened then looked at Albus.
“Albus did Lily ever talk of the torture she went through while she was held captive?” Severus asked. Albus turned to look at Severus and shook his head.
“No she always refused. Though after that time she almost never was by herself.” Albus murmured. Severus nodded slowly and sighed. Albus frowned along with Severus who turned.
“Well you may as well go, but I don’t suggest talking to Potter about this, not yet at least. He seemed highly confused.” Severus stated. Albus frowned as Severus spoke like this. He then shook his head slowly.
“No Severus I want him in my office this evening just after supper.” Albus stated. Severus nodded knowing he was going to go with the boy. He didn’t trust the coot now he knew he was planning something.
“I will let him know at supper tonight Albus. Now I need to prepare for my next class.” Severus said turning away from the headmaster. Albus nodded then turned and left the office.

Draco and Harry entered Newt level transfigurations. Harry groaned as he spotted Ron sitting with Dean and Seamus. Right away he knew there was going to be trouble. He sat as far from the Gryffindor section of the seating as he could possibly get with Draco sitting beside them.
Draco and Harry both prepared for the lesson with a scream drew there attention to Ron Seamus and Dean. Harry blinked and noticed the piece of parchment between them. Ron then turned and snarled at Harry. The rest of the class just entering as he prepared to scream at Harry.
“This explains everything you slimy traitorous snake! Why don’t you bloody well go to your father and bow to him like all the other death eaters!” Ron screamed causing all the Gryffindor’s and the Slytherin’s to stare at him most with looks of confusion.
“Mr. Weasley watch your language in the classroom or I will be forced to take points!” Ms. McGonagall cried out from her spot at the desk. Ron growled but sat down as Harry groaned and shook his head. Draco placed a single hand on Harry’s shoulder worried a bit about the other boy.
“Now since everyone is ready we will start” Ms McGonagall said. She instructed the class on how to do the present assignment then watched as they worked away at it. She frowned once in awhile at Ron wondering what had triggered his temper this time. She then looked at Harry who was doing very well even as he chatted softly with Draco. Once class was over and the students were preparing to leave Ron rushed out of the classroom and into the halls.
Harry looked at Draco and frowned. It was lunch time but the way Ron had acted he was going to do something to the two of them. Harry just sighed as he finished packing up his stuff then looked at Draco. Draco looked at Harry and tried to smile comfortingly. He had to send a letter to his father immediately, but was unsure how to get it done without Harry worrying or wondering about it.
“So Potter you’re not even a Potter? You’re the heir to bloody he-who-must-not-be-named!” Ron growled as the two approached the Great Hall. Harry stiffened and turned to face Ron. Harry shut his green eyes a moment with a soft groan before pulling back.
“Weasley back off. I am not my father.” Harry growled. He had already decided denying his relation to Riddle was not worth it now that Ron knew about it. Ron snarled and shook his head then nodded to Draco.
“You are exactly like him. Slytherin and already hanging out with a Malfoy.” Ron snarled. Harry just pushed past the red head shaking his head.
“Just shut up Ron. I did what I was supposed to once. I have defeated Voldemort once I will not lift a finger to defeat him again now.” Harry snarled. All the students around Harry and Draco pulled back upon Harry’s comment as the boy spun towards the doors.
“What do you mean, you are the only one. You have to defeat him.” One of the many people cries out from their spots. Harry turned to face the boy with his eyes narrowed in anger.
“I am a teenager I refuse to have all this weight placed on my shoulders because the ministry and your parents are too scared to fight for themselves. Let alone how often you people have turned on me and treated me like scum.” Harry snarled in rage. Draco smirked as he walked through the doors into the great hall Harry following after the blonde with a bright smirk. They stalked towards the Slytherin table neither paying attention to the shocked crowd behind them. Ron soon stormed into the Great Hall and looked up at the head table.
“Headmaster Dumbledore you must throw Harry out of this school now before he brings ruin on us all!” Ron demanded. Harry rolled his eyes as he began to eat quietly smirking over at Draco.
“Never happen. I’m still the coot’s only hope.” Harry said softly causing Draco to chuckle a moment. Albus frowned and looked at Ron then over at Harry with a soft sigh. If Ron knew of Harry’s parentage that meant obliviating the boy wouldn’t work now.
“Mr. Weasley what are you talking about? Mr. Potter has done nothing to be expelled from this school.” Albus stated to Ron. Ron snarled and pointed at the now Slytherin.
“But Headmaster he’s the son oh he-who-must-not-be-named!” Ron cried out. Harry groaned and shook his head as he tugged at a lock of his hair. He looked at Draco before shrugging a moment.
“You’d think I’d grown a second head the way he is acting.” Harry said. Draco started to laugh hearing the boy’s words. Ron was becoming more and more ridiculous. Harry sighed though and once more tugged at his hair.
“Ron go take a seat the parentage of a student is not reason to throw him out of the school.” Albus stated the twinkle gone from his eyes. Harry laughed at the look on the headmasters face then motioned to Draco that he was going to pull something.
“Headmaster Dumbledore can you tell me how I looked like my false father for the last 16 years and now appear like my true father?” Harry asked causing Albus to groan as the rest of the school shook their head at him admitting the truth about James not being his father.
“There are many ways for such a thing to be possible. The one I would suspect with you though was a famille blood glamour. It can only be used on a person of the same blood as the caster.” Albus admitted. Harry nodded and went back to eating. He now knew that his mother must have wanted to hide the truth but because of her death the spell slowly wore away till it faded that summer.
“Harry would it be okay if I wrote my father about all these discoveries?” Draco asked suddenly deciding going behind the former Gryffindor’s back would be bad for the friendship they were developing. Harry blinked in surprise before smirking at Draco keeping himself calm about the other houses reactions to what had been learnt.
“I was expecting it Draco. Though the fact you asked proves your desire for our friendship is higher than your loyalty to your father which makes me all the happier.” Harry said. His cold eyes shinning with a bit of joy as though Draco had brought back some of Harry’s former joy. Draco smirked at this and glanced at his schedule.
“I have a free period after lunch if you do how about we go work on this letter together?” Draco offered. He would like to make it so Harry could be proud of him maybe there would be a chance to maybe convince Harry to date him. Harry nodded remembering the free period with a slight smirk as his green eyes latched onto Draco’s silver.
“Yes I think I will join you Draco. That letter is very important.” Harry stated letting the idea the Lucius would tell Voldemort about the information even if Severus Snape didn’t. Draco frowned a moment as they finished their lunch.
“This is a back up if Severus doesn’t tell the dark lord isn’t it?” Draco asked and watched Harry smirk. Draco sighed a bit at this.
“Why would you think Severus wouldn’t tell the Dark Lord?” Draco asked almost silently of the other boy. Harry smirked a bit at Draco and shook his head.
“It’s simply Draco. I don’t know what side Severus is truly on. Thus the two ways of letting father know the truth.” Harry said causing Draco to nod in understanding finally. They found a seat in the back of the library. Draco pulled out a sheet of parchment his quill then ink and began to write.
“So what all should be in this letter and in what order?” Draco asked as Harry frowned with that thought. He still showed more emotions then the average Slytherin but he had many masks just like any other Slytherin.
“Well we need to let him know about my change in attitude, my change of house and finally the revelation about who my father is and that I fully accept it considering how much I have physically changed over the summer.” Harry said. Draco nodded and dipped the quill into ink before writing.
“Okay thank you Harry. What are you going to do while I write this letter?” Draco asked. Harry smirked and whispered a spell causing a book to hit the table.
“I will be looking up information on the Famille Blood Glamour.” Harry stated. Draco smirked hearing that but understood why Harry wanted to know more about it. He wrote as Harry opened the book and began to read it quietly. Draco finished the letter within fifteen minutes. He then stood and headed towards the exit of the library. Harry looked up then nodded a moment.
“Be careful Draco.” Harry warned. Draco nodded and hurried up to the owlery leaving Harry alone in the library. Draco quickly reached the owlery and looked for his Owl. Finding it he went over to it and lightly ran a hand over its head.
“Hey there Serinn want to take this to my father.” Draco said. The large eagle owl took the letter and prepared to fly off. “Make sure no one gets the letter either Serinn.” Draco warned. He then left the owlery silently.
