Chapter 4
Both boys stopped and glared at one another for a few moments, waiting for the other to make the first move.
"I don't have time for this," Harry said finally, breaking under the need to get something to eat. Ron, Seamus and the rest had left him for Hogsmeade already, and if he wanted to have any hope of catching up to them before they were ready to come back, he'd need to leave soon.
Draco smirked at him, the expression almost sickly sweet. "Aww, didn't your fanclub take you with them to Hogsmeade?" His voice dripped sarcasm.
"Didn't you follow your lackeys out there to make sure they don't get stuck walking into a wall or something?" Harry said right back. Draco's smirk turned into a glare.
"I don't have lackeys." He pronounced.
"I don't have a fanclub," Harry retorted, knowing even as he said it that he did, even if it was embarassing to admit. Draco seemed to take personal offense to the statement, and lunged at Harry, knocking him to the ground and punching at any bit of body he could reach. Harry kicked up at him, rolled them, and gave as good as he got.
The halls were deserted, and quiet save for the grunts and smacks of their fight. Harry hit his head on the foot of a statue, and the universe swirled around his eyes for a moment, and Draco took ruthless advantage of it, disregarding the fact that his clothes were dirty and his shirt had torn.
(If Harry recovers, and wins the fight, go to Chapter 6)
(If Harry loses the fight, go to Chapter 7)
