Bloodmates
Draco had convinced his parents to let Meela stay at Malfoy Manor. After saying that she was his good friend and her family was all dead. His mom gave in as soon as she thought that Meela had no family and no place to go. Meela would stay in her rooms durning the day and came to see Draco at night. Draco would stay in his rooms as well until the sun had set. His parents didn't find any of this unusual. They were too busy with their own lifes anyway. When Meela came to visit him she told him everything he could possibly want to know about being a vampire. He found that he enjoyed her visits and the information she gave him was very valuable.
Draco was waiting for Meela to come visit him once again. This time he was sitting in the libary near the fireplace. His parents had gone to the Zambini's household for a banquet of some sort. He hadn't exactly been paying attention when his father was talking to him. He was dressed entirely in black, a habit he had gotten from Meela. She seemed to have a huge influence on him. He was staring into the dancing flames intently. He had a distant look on his face. The doors suddenly swung open and Meela came strolling in. Her hair was down for once and flowed around her beautiful face. She was wearing a black strapless dress that came to her knees. The skirt clung to her thighs tightly and the top exposed a decent amount of cleavage.
Her feet were decorated by a pair of silver high heel sandals. The straps crisscrossed up to her calves and were connected by a buckle. Her toenails were painted the color black. Her fingernails were painted black as well. She wasn't wearing any jewelry for once. Her face was not covered with any make up. She saw him sitting by the fire and smiled,"Your up early." He chuckled and turned to look at her," My parents wished to speak with me before they left." She nodded, walking towards one of the other armchairs. She lowered herself into the one that was across from his," Attending another banquet?" He nodded and leaned into his chair," Naturally." She crossed one leg over the other," What do you wish to discuss on this fine evening?"
"Have you ever been with anyone?" he asked boldly. Meela's eyes widened at the younger vampire's question. She was not used to him asking personal questions. She thought that he understood that she was not going to tell him about her past or anything about her. She brushed her hair away from her eyes," Why the sudden interest in my life?" He rolled his eyes, knowing that she was trying to dodge the question. He cleared his throat," I hardly know anything about you but you know every thing about me." She scowled, resting her chin on her hand," Well if you must know I was once with someone, he was my bloodmate."
Draco's curiousty grew at the word bloodmate. He moved forward in his chair oh so slightly," Bloodmate?" She nodded, a bored look on her face," Yes, bloodmate. He was the one that turned me and I will never forget him." Draco was surprised that she was being this open with him. He never would have imagined that she would ever tell him anything about her. He found it amazing and entrancing. Draco moved up even more," What was his name?" She looked at the dancing flames," It was William but he is gone." He figured that she was not going to tell him anymore. So he was now going to ask her another not so personal question," What is a bloodmate?" She smiled slightly to his confusion," A bloodmate is sort of what mortals would call a soulmate. Only it's different in a way. When you see your bloodmate for the first time it's like your entire world has stopped. Like the only person that matters is them. They are your entire world and you would do anything for them. It is like they are meant for you and for you alone."
"How do you find a bloodmate?" asked Draco, getting even more and more interested. Meela stared into the fire distantly," You don't. They find you." He nodded in understanding," Did you find William?"
"No. He found me."
