White, Not Always For The Innocent
It was that time of year. Milli could practically hear the cackling of demons in Hell. The roaring of every child’s anguish. The total devastation of this moment had fallen upon her.
Yes, it was that time of year…the end of summer vacation! Oh, to return to Hogwarts. It made her groan just thinking about it. The classes, the homework, the Responsibility. Let her stay a child a few more days.
“Milli. Milli. Milli!”
The slap on her arse was a little much, Milli thought to herself as she struggled to keep the covers from being completely pulled off of her.
“Milli! Get yourself out of bed! What kind of lady stays in bed till…my god! It’s 11:00 already?!” Nicole gasped. She turned once again to the half conscious girl. “Milli! Get your arse out of bed or I’m doing it for you!” Nicole screeched once more.
“I thought you were already doing it for me.” Milli yawned and stretched, very much resembling a cat. She turned on her back, putting her arm over her eyes.
For a few moments she simply watched the bustling Nicole. She looked like chimp with her continued little movements and changes of direction. Milli chuckled to herself. Nicole, hearing the sound, stopped, placed her hands on her hips and looked very serious.
“Up, are we now?” Nicole said in a snippy voice, waving her nose in the air for a bit of stress.
“Nope…” Milli answered carelessly, angering Nicole even more.
Nicole stood there, her hands firmly planted on her hips, mouth pouting and cheeks blowing out with every fuming breath.
Milli watched her a moment more before she finally burst out laughing. Not just a casual laugh, but a full blown chortle. How easily she could make Nicole react. She craved that reaction at times, some sort of attention…It made no sense to her.
Milli stopped her laughter. It was enough, her thoughts did not seem to want to stray from her return to Hogwarts. She sobered. She was anticipating the return to school, she realized. All traces of her previous mirth were erased from her face. A thoughtful look crossed her face as she contemplated her thoughts.
Oh, who was she trying to kid?! She knew exactly why she was anticipating her return. She would see him again.
Him with his rough hands and husky voice. Him, who always needs her, craved her like no other.
She loved the power she had over him. How by simply touching him, she could get him to lose control, or leaning towards him so he could get a whiff of her scent. She loved how her presents could make him forget about any other person in the room. Or how a simple glance from her could make him painfully aroused.
But she hated how he seemed to have the same control over her. How his scent, voice and touch made her forget where she was. How a casual touch form him could sat her aflame.
“Milli, where were you just then?” Nicole’s tentative voice slowly brought her out of her musing. She jerked to her direction and took a deep breath.
“Umm…no where.” She said with a nervous chuckle. “What strange questions you ask Nicole.” She said with a shake of her head, slowly getting out of her bed. She pushed her hair out of her face and entered her bathroom. Turning on the shower, she reentered her room and took clothes out of dresser. She noticed that Nicole hadn’t moved from the position she had been standing in before, holding a shirt.
“Nicole?” She asked , wondering about the forlorn look on Nicole’s face. Nicole lowered her eyes, fidgeted with the cloth in her hands, but did not answer.
“Nicole?” She asked a bit louder. “Why do I feel as if you have something that you want to tell me?” Nicole bit her lip, Milli knew now for sure that something was bothering her.
“Umm…You have something…umm…from…” Nicole sighed and moved restlessly from one foot to the other. Milli watched her. Many times she felt as if she was the adult and Nicole the teenager when she behaved like this.
Having enough of Nicole’s continued vagueness, Milli asked, “What Nicole? I would like to continue my shower sometime this century.”
Nicole raised her head, just as she was about to say something she decided against it. Instead she left Milli’s room.
Milli, a little perplexed, did nothing. She turned her head from left to right, looking as she was expecting a clown to jump out at any moment.
‘Women…something not even I understand them.’ She sighed to herself and turned to go take her shower.

‘Shakespeare sucked. So did Emerson. Never really liked Poe. But Melville, now he was good. Easy to understand, simply written and not too much of that nature crap. Not even Hawthorne was as clear as Melville.’ Milli pondered.
A strange pastime, certainly. But Milli still enjoyed it. Her analysis of every great American author. She could have analyzed British authors, or more specifically, magickal authors, but she found herself fascinated with American authors.
‘What is with the morbid fascination people have over Poe’s works. I don’t see him having that certain “umph” that the truly great authors had. A bit endless, he was.’ Milli thought absently.
Sighing to herself and rubbing the boredom out of her eyes, she stretched in her seat. Taking another sip of her sweet tea, Milli looked back down at her book. Dante’s Inferno was hard to finish, everything in it was wrong. According to Dante, every person with half a brain or opinion went to Hell.
‘I’m going back to Hogwarts tomorrow and yet this is the best I can do on my last day of freedom.’ Milli groaned. She should be climbing mountains or swimming or….doing something other than just reading! She put that prissy Granger to shame.
“Where the hell is Nicole?” Milli asked herself, realizing that she hadn’t seen her since that morning.
Milli put Dante away and headed towards the kitchen. Entering it she saw no Nicole, only a clean kitchen. She smiled, ‘No cleaning for me today.’ She entered the drawing room, the parlor…and yet no Nicole.
‘Where is that woman.’
Milli headed up the stairs. Nicole never spent the day in her room, preferring the outdoors or any other room, but it didn’t hurt to check every room.
When Milli reached Nicole’s bedroom she hesitated. ‘What if she’s sleeping, I don’t want to wake her up…oh, who cares. It’s my last day to spend with her, I deserve her wakefulness.’ With that thought Milli pushed open Nicole’s bedroom door.
Nicole was not sleeping, she was in fact wide awake and looked startled at Milli’s entry. Nicole was sitting on the bed with a black box next to her. Milli glanced at the box uninterested.
“What are you doing here? You should be entertaining me.” She whined to Nicole and put in a pout for extra emphasis. Nicole gave her a warm smile and beckoned her to the bed.
Mille sat next to her and picked up the thin, black box. “Oooh. You got something from one of your admirers?” She teased, waving the box in front of Nicole’s face.
“Nope.” Nicole said, snatching the box from Milli’s hands, “You did.” Nicole handed the box back to Mille.
Milli looked at it in confusion, then at Nicole. “I don’t have any admirers.”
“Apparently you do.” Nicole said, nodding to the box. “There’s a card. I didn’t read it I swear.” She responded quickly, seeing Milli’s suspicious look.
Milli opened the box and inside found…lingerie? White lingerie, to be precise. She looked bewilderedly at Nicole, but Nicole shrugged.
“Read the card.” Nicole suggested. Mille, not knowing what else to do, took out the little black card and opened it, all it said was ‘I want to deflower a virgin. Wear it. D.’
Face burning, Milli closed the card quickly, not looking at Nicole.
“Well, what did it say?” Nicole asked.
“Nothing.” Milli answered, face growing hotter by the second.
She really hated him sometimes.
‘Smug bastard.’ She thought to herself, not being able to stop the smile from appearing on her face.
