Prophecy and Change

The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches...Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... And the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... And either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives...The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies...An err of caution to this tale...Dark will tarnish light and light shall fail. Thrice betrayed... Blood Family and Friend...tarnished and broken his light shall dim. Dark shall rein though all hope not be lost...Power unknown to Dark wields Light, join with the third wielding Dragons Fire...thus Dark shall be destroyed be it Lights desire.

Sirius knew that he had more to warn Draco about, things that Dumbledore had entrusted him to know, things Harry would need to know when the time was right. He knew that he could not allow Draco to forgo his destiny. This seemed to be the boys irritating reaction to the news that he was Dragon Seeker and in all likelihood could never be truly intimate without burning his loved one to a crisp.

A daunting prospect to say the least, and if his guess was the right one, Draco had already discovered for himself. Since the day he'd finally been told what he was, two weeks ago, he spent more time wandering the streets then at home.

"He's been gone for hours Severus, what if something's happened to him?" Sirius sighed into his hands staring out the grimy window of Draco's flat. Snape was at a desk in the corner penning a letter to someone. Who he would be writing to Sirius had not the faintest idea.

"In case you haven't noticed Black, the boys going through a bit of a life crisis. And your about to drop another bomb shell, he just needs time," Snape reprimanded, not even looking up from his correspondence. That just plain annoyed Sirius, the fate of the world was hinging on Draco and Harry in a way neither of them was going to be happy about at all! In fact the last revealing line of the prophecy, said quite clearly that the one wielding Dragons fire would have to unite with Light. Meaning, Harry and Draco where about to be thrust into a war together. The fate of the world was looking very grim in deed.

"I hadn't figured that at all Snively, thanks for the update; I'll just sit back and let him sulk while the world around us goes to hell! Because little Draco needs some time!" Sirius snapped in agitation. He cringed immediately afterwards. He knew had it been Harry who needed time, he would have given it to him. This situation was fraying his nerves at the seems. Plus he had thought he'd seen a flash of hurt in Snape's eyes to be replaced by his usual cool disdain.

"I'm not going to dignify that with its obvious retort. What's happening now is hardly Draco's fault; he's a nineteen year old boy! They both are, and if you think for one second that your god son is going to handle the fact that Dumbledore deliberately withheld the second half of the Prophecy from him any better then Draco is, then you’re as crazy as you are insensitive, Black.”

Sirius knew he was right; Harry was going to feel manipulated and betrayed by his old mentor and friend. Draco was going to feel even worse, stuck working with his enemy and forced to side with the Light side, against his own father. True he had never been a good Death Eater; at the moment when it counted he had been unable to kill Dumbledore, forcing Snape to do it to keep the boy from being killed by the others. Sirius believed that Draco had a core of inner goodness in him that had not allowed him too. Misplaced loyalty and love had lead him to follow in his fathers footsteps but he wasn't fit to walk in them.

A theory, which as the years went on he proved time and again. The last three years Sirius and other members of the order had watched Draco Malfoy carefully. The young man he had traveled with for quite some time was proof that Draco was a better man then even he thought himself to be. It was a shame he had to find out the hard way that intimacy with his mate was probably never to be. He would walk the world alone because of one spiteful Fae queens curse. Unless he could find a mate of equal strength and a power of his own strong enough to combat the fire present when Dragons mated. This was very highly unlikely, considering that the person in question would have to have Fae blood and it would have to be as strong as Draco’s own.

He was rescued from this depressing line of thought by two things. One; a black barn owl was swooping through the open window and two; being that Draco was walking through the front door. Since Snape was getting out of his chair and advancing on his young cousin Sirius attended to the owl. He recognized the envelope and the seal immediately. It was time to tell Draco all, and get on with saving the world and it was bound to be one messy process. He gestured for Severus and Draco to sit.

"First off Draco there's some things you need to know about Harry himself, and why Dumbledore did what he did..."

**********Time Floats By*******Time Floats By******And The Sun Sets On This Heart Of Mine*****

Draco didn't know what to think, Every one had suspicions of course that Potter was the Chosen One or whatever it was they called him these days. Suspicions his father had confirmed in his many rants about the prophecy and the Dark Lords anger over its being destroyed before he could hear it. Potter was everyone's hope, the magic boy and golden son of the wizarding world.

Was he bitter because Dumbledore had known that Draco would also play a key role in the Dark Lords downfall? Was he angry because all these years people had fawned over Potter, handed him things on a silver platter simply because fate had deigned that he would die in an effort to save all their sorry asses. Potter was most definitely going to kick it, cause their was no way in hell Draco was getting involved in Potters troubles. Not only was the thought laughable but it made him slightly ill to picture his father and former friends faces when he showed up on Voldemort’s door step with puny Potter ready for a showdown. Potter might have a glorified death wish but he sure as hell did not!

He expected Black to be pushing him to obey his precious orders commands, that's who the owl had been from. McGonagall had been the head of the order since Dumbledore’s death. According to Sirius only she, Himself and Dumbledore had known about the second half of the prophecy. And just about that many knew that Sirius had survived the night at the Ministry. Apparently getting knocked into a coma and barely coming out of it had not scared any sense into Potter or any of that crack pot order. They had whisked Potter out of England and as far away from Voldemort as possible.

In a place code named Nuia Linn. Harry was being kept and rejuvenated there and they wanted Black to bring Draco there so that the two boys could begin whatever bonding and training was necessary to unite them. Over his smoking dead ass was Draco's opinion and he had gladly thrown that at both Black and Snape. What had been the biggest shock was that Severus, who hated Potter and looked on light wizards with disdain at best, was throwing in with them now. Although he shouldn't be surprised, his mentors’ behavior was appalling lately. Draco tiptoed around his own place expecting to one day open a door and find those two releasing all that sexual tension that seemed to scream between them. Part of him was utterly disgusted that Sirius of all people was the man Snape seemed to have the hots for. It was like a stab in the back, Potter would see it that way too. They where fooling themselves if they thought Harry was going to see it as anything less then a betrayal.

Not that they'd done anything yet, Snape held out even though Sirius made it clear he'd like nothing better then to screw him into the floor. (Too which Draco sincerely wished he wasn't at home to witness.) Snape acted like the very thought offended him, and then get as heavy as a bitch in heat whenever Sirius strutted around naked. Which the man had a habit of doing. Not that Draco minded, if you had asked him god have gifted Sirius Black with a body to slay nations. If he didn't hate the man so much he'd have screwed him already. Maybe that was Snape's problem; he felt a sudden rush of sympathy for his mentor. Snape's love life had always been seriously lacking in his own opinion and to have pure temptation wagging its attributes in front of his nose. It wouldn't matter if Black was Lucifer himself, he was bound to get hot and heavy just looking at him. Maybe he'd do Snape a favor and get intimate with Black, and then he'd go up in a ball of flame never to be seen again.

Draco shivered; no one deserved that fate not even a blood traitor like Sirius. Certainly not sweet Alex, who had trusted him, loved.... Draco sighed and rolled over on his bed.

Sirius lay at the foot of Severus bed his tail thumping distractedly on the floor. He missed his God Son. He missed Remus, he was upset because his Master was upset with the way he had pushed Draco earlier. Sirius was an unhappy dog, and he let out a slow whine of pain as he contemplated all that he had lost over the years. And he would loose even more, they all would if Draco didn't put aside his pride and Slytherin values to do the right thing. The fate of the world looked so bleak at that moment; he let out another shrill whine of anguish. A pillow hit his head; he let out a growl of indignation.

"Bloody hell Snively, what's wrong with you!" He snapped glaring up at Snape who was sitting up on his bed. Sirius was angry and rather depressed but not far gone enough to ignore the fact that tonight Severus had decided not to wear his usual silk night Shirt and boxers to bed, He was wondrously and gloriously nude and Sirius was instantly ready and at attention. He'd like nothing better then to lick his Masters face in sheer doggy happiness. Or better yet to transform and lick other parts of him.

"Stop your whining, Black. And if you’re going to think like that you can just sleep the hell some where else. I'm having none of your sick games, hear me Black"

"Master, when are you going to realize that what you want and what you get are two very different things. I wanted nothing more then to be in love with Remus, or girls for that matter. What I got was you. I've wanted you for years and James hated you. You hated both him and me. And with all your fucking Slytherin pride and attitude, I couldn't help but intensely dislike you back. It never stopped me from seeing just how much potential you had. If only you'd been born a Gryffindor, when I think about what a pair we would have made..."

"You have such a sweet way of saying you hate everything about me Black, I think my heart just went all a flutter."

"That's not what I said at all, what I said is; we've both let house rivalry, our own damned pride and prejudices get in the way of what could have been one beautiful relationship. And I've had enough, haven't you? I want you, I need you and I'll gladly beg for it. Being a dog that has gotten a bit easier to stomach."

"I never hated you back in school. I hated what you stood for, who your friends where, the way you acted. Almost everything about you. But I could never bring myself to hate you or deny that I felt… connected to you. It’s that feeling I hated the most. I didn't truly start hating you until you drove away the only woman I've ever loved. I'll never forget what you did, you stole my happiness."

"It’s not fair to blame me for her choices, and I won’t lie, I had a part. Dumbledore knew she would bear the next Dragon Seeker. But he'd foreseen that it wouldn't be from your blood. We couldn't allow you to marry her, do you think that it wasn't the hardest thing I've ever done. Causing you unhappiness has always caused me twice as much."

"You could have fooled me Black, you and James loved terrorizing and humiliating me. And don't you deny it. Don't you fucking lie to me and tell me all this time that you...You...?"
Snape faltered trying to find a word that might describe whatever it was Sirius felt for him. Sirius knew one but he wasn't ready to say it, and neither was Snape ready to hear it. Through their mind link, the fact that they had one was proof enough for Sirius. The Fae could talk from mind to mind with each other but Sirius’ blood although strong had never been strong enough for that. It would take a true bond between them to create one. Sirius could read most of Severus' feelings, there was rage, there was pain but uttermost there was an ever present desire.

"I was young, and I had feelings for my enemy. I knew if I acted on them I would loose my friends and at that age it was a price I was unwilling to pay. If taunting you hid what I really felt, at that point, I thought it well worth it. I didn't want to feel what I did; it was a betrayal of my friends and even poor ‘Cissa. I was fond of all my cousins, except Bella of course. Andy proved to have the most strength of the three. She fought for her love, because it was real. ‘Cissa could have fought for you Master and you know it. If it had been anything real and deep she would have fought for you. I could hate her for causing you that pain, except that then Draco wouldn't be here and..." He performed the transformation quickly before he could change his mind.

He rose from the floor and stood over Snape where he sat on the bed. Snape's eyes flared with an inner heat as Sirius advanced on him. Sirius leaned over the older man crowding his naked chest with his own, and looked into coal black eyes that had haunted him all his life.

"…and because then I could never do this with you."

The first touch of their lips together sent a shock of sensation straight from his head to his groin like a punch. Sirius dove his tongue like a diver into the carven of Snape's mouth, tasting him as their tongues battled for dominance over each other. His head felt as light as clouds and his whole body shook as he teased Severus with his tongue, dragging it from his mouth to trace his lips then down the side of his perfect neck. Snape threw his head back letting out a keening sound, something alien in tongue but perfectly understood in the heat of sex.

His hands snaked into Sirius hair as he roughly jerked the younger man on top of him. Sirius let out a cry of his own as his naked skin collided with Snape's. Except for his lower half, which was clad in the soft silk of his boxers. Sirius could feel the hard ridge of Severus’ erection pressing insistently against his own. Mindless with the fire that had sprung to life inside him, he ground himself against Snape. Snape let out a whimper as Sirius’ tongue bathed the arch of his throat and trailed down to his naked chest. He let out a sharp cry of pleasure pain as Sirius nipped one of his nipples and soothed the sting with his tongue.

"Do you have any idea how long I've wanted to do this, any idea..." Sirius rasped his breath hot against Snape's chest. He thrust against his erection sending a burst of sensation through both their bodies. Snape let out an agonized groan as Sirius whispered. "I want to take you into my mouth… and lick and suck… and taste until you scream for me. Until you beg me to fuck you mindless. I'm going to take you so hard you'll see stars for a week and you'll never deny what you feel for me again."

At the last word Sirius thrust his hand inside of Snape's boxers and gripped his swollen head so tightly Snape let out a small scream which faded to a groan of pure pleasure as Sirius began to milk him. His fingers clenching and rubbing in rapid friction. Snape writhed beneath him, thrusting up into his hand as their lips and tongues collided in a fire storm of need. Sirius was mindless with it, a searing joy was singing in his veins, nothing could be more right then this. Except perhaps being inside him, the mere thought nearly sent him over the edge. His fangs where lengthening. He wanted to nip and bite and taste Snape's smooth skin. He bit the side of his shoulder as he rubbed Snape's cock between his hands.

If he didn't find relief soon, he was going to burst into flame, Snape thought as his hips bucked up against Black’s body. The silk of his boxers normally soft and comfortable where hot and scratchy and he wanted them off. He growled low in his throat and reared up reversing their positions. Sirius was sprawled on his back, his black hair in tangles from Snape's hands, his lips swollen from brutal kisses. He was the most delicious sight Snape had ever seen and he was going to taste all of it.

"Take them off, there’s a good boy Sirius," he nearly sighed in ecstasy as Sirius began to strip him of his boxers with his teeth. Sirius was whimpering shifting back and forth to relive the pressure in that glinting cock of his. How many times had Black paraded that in front of his nose? Sirius let out a whimper of excitement at the gleam of wickedness that entered Snape's eyes. Snape leaned down and flicked Sirius's glistening head with his tongue. The salty taste of pre-cum was, in that moment, the most delectable thing Snape had ever tasted. Sirius let out a gasp and he grabbed Snape's head to pull him close. Snape resisted.

"Did I hurt you Black? I think I'll just play with those pert perfect little nipples of yours, maybe taste them," and he did, they tasted like skin and man and purely Sirius and if he could spend all day sucking and tweaking them making Sirius scream he would.

"OH GOD SEVERUS PLEASE....JUST..." Sirius bucked his hips till his erection met Snape's and he ground against him, something between a pant and a growl escaping his lips. His eyes where glowing the electric blue of his Fae ancestors and Snape felt a shock of what felt like electricity enter his blood stream. It was as if every nerve ending was brought to life and he was hit with a wave of pure animal lust.

Sirius was biting into his shoulder, he thought maybe he was bleeding but the sensation was one of pure rapture and he threw his head back thrusting hard against Sirius who was growling and twisting against him. He was leaking and he could feel an answering wetness on Sirius’ thighs as they thrust against each other. Sirius with more power then Snape had ever seen a man exhort flipped him on his stomach and ground his erection into Snape's ass. His teeth where still tearing at Snape's shoulder sending shock waves of pleasure to his already straining groin. The feel of Sirius’ hard wet rod slipping into his channel was too much. He jerked back trying to impale himself on it as a jet of his semen splattered onto the bed in front of him.

It hurt like hell, but it also sang in his blood stream like the purest of songs. Sirius was pumping into him like a being possessed. Over and over again, and Snape was thrusting backwards wanting more of him. He wanted Sirius so deep inside of him he'd touch his soul. Sirius was growling and snarling ripping at his shoulder with his teeth, clenching Snape's penis in his fist pumping it for all he was worth. The electricity in the air seemed to snap and fizz till he could see blue waves of pure magical energy wavering in front of his eyes. There was a rush of wind as Sirius continued to thrust in and out of him ramming him from behind till his teeth rattled.

Sirius let go of Snape's shoulder to throw back his head and howl. The feelings in his body where tearing him apart, his body was alive with an almost electrical energy.

"Sirius! OH GOD Sirius!"

He withdrew and slammed into Snape one last time as he filled his channel with his hot seed. Snape let out a scream and Sirius could hear himself howl one more time. Purely exhausted he slumped on top of him. They lay that way panting for how long, neither of them knew. All around them the blue energy danced and sizzled then slowly began to fade. Sirius found the energy somewhere in his body to roll off Severus. He glanced at the man he had loved since first seeing him. He was so handsome, down right sexy at times. But he could be so cold, so withdrawn from feeling or emotion.

He didn't look that way now; there was a jagged tear in the skin on his shoulder, blood streaming freely from it. Had he done that, the taste of Snape's blood was in his mouth warm and coppery and... Oh god just licking his lips clean of it was making him hard again. Snape didn't look like he'd be stirring before next week. And rightly so. It had never happened like that with Remus, great sex yes but he'd never lost control like that. His Fae magic had never entered the mating, the fact that it had only confirmed what he'd always known. Snape was it, whether he liked it or not.

"That's what happens when I feel for the person I'm having sex with, only much worse. You could have hurt him; you weren't in control at all, Black."

The sound of Draco's voice gave Sirius a start, the blonde was leaning in the doorway clad only in pajama pants. Sirius eyed him wondering if he'd been standing there watching them. Draco, almost as if he knew what Sirius was thinking raised one sardonic brow.

"Hard to sleep with that going on. I'm sure the people a town over heard it. Sounded like you where murdering each other. Which brings me back to my point, you could have hurt him and I'd have to rip your heart out if you ever did, Black." It was fair warning. Sirius nodded excepting it as the boys right to be protective of his mentor.

"Well… I can’t say as I was expecting that to happen. That was a true Fae mating ritual, our element is apart of us and is meant to be shared. Therefore, I couldn't have hurt him. If you hadn't have been cursed Draco, it would be like that. It wouldn't kill your partner." Sirius watched as the boys eyes dimmed with a kind of hopelessness. Then a strange light entered them as he pierced Sirius with electric blue eyes.

"Potter’s earth Fae isn't he? I knew it the moment I saw the Earth Queen. Those eyes." Sirius nodded, and Draco's mouth twisted into a sneer. "If he's so powerful, then why does he need me!" Sirius hated to push but Draco needed to understand.

"The thing about the Earth Fae is their power seems to assimilate itself. Lily and Harry could be brilliant in one area, such as potions and flying and no more brilliant then any other teen their age in another area. The power lies dormant except for certain areas for their entire lives. In a way this is a blessing being as they can live their entire lives without upset. But for Harry, it’s a curse, he's got enough power to defeat Voldemort but he'll go his entire life without ever knowing its scope. You’re the key Draco, the Prophecy says if you two work together Harry's powers will awaken." When he saw the blonde snort in disgust and begin to turn away Sirius knew he was loosing him.

"Harry's never going to stop! He can’t stop; he killed his parents and robbed him of a childhood. He killed the only woman he's ever loved! Harry can’t stop, which means Harry will die. Unless you help him. Please Draco, whatever boyhood rivalry stands between you, don't let it cost that much. Please."

Draco could hear the pain in Black’s voice, it was that and the echoing words in his head that made him stop and turn. Weasley's little sister was dead then, she and Harry had been an item since his sixth year. He'd fled shortly after they began dating, so he had never known what had come of their relationship. Voldemort had killed her. He couldn't say he felt much pain at her loss; he hated the Weasley’s almost as much as he did Harry himself. Watching them snog each others faces off had filled him with an ugly disgust that he didn't want to dive to deep into. What Sirius said next chilled something inside of him.

"Harry saw her die, he tried to save her. He nearly got himself killed. I barely had time to throw up a barrier before the killing curse hit him. It broke but luckily my barrier weakened it. It sent him into a coma, he hasn't been the same. He's changing and I don't know how else to help him. You can, what did he do to deserve you sending him to death. That's what you’re doing, if you refuse to lend him your strength. You sentence him to death."

He didn't know what swayed him more, the fact that Sirius didn't care about his own skin or didn't think of Harry as a shield from Voldemort. He cared about Harry. And it was obvious Snape was growing to care for Sirius. If Harry died then that smile he'd seen on his Mentor , the man who had been a father to him where his own father had lacked, he would be affected. And whatever was happening between him and Black would whither and die, because Black would never be the same once Harry died.

He would go, if only to knock some damn sense into Potter. Damn Light Wizards, always sticking there heads in the sand. Once Potter gave up his asinine quest to prevent the inevitable, Draco could move on with his life. Alone.
