Chapter 3-A Spy Revealed and Another Created
A/N: I'm being pretty good about posting, right? Just asking for
an opinion. So the spy is revealed and THE PLOT THICKENS! yah!
Ok, here it is, the lovely and talented, CHAPTER 3!
Disclaimer: JKR owns everything, except Emily, Jen, and Ingrid.
THEY'RE MINE! I am making no money, although I'm short on dough,
and could definatly use some.
Chapter Three
“Draco, we need to talk,” said Severus, striding into the
room. “Not now Severus, I’m busy,” answered Draco, not even looking
up. “It’s about Jen,” said Severus. Draco looked up. “I’m listening,” he
said. Severus smirked. “Well then, I’ve been doing a little...research,” he
said. “Eavesdropping again Severus?” Draco said. “I would call it more...
creative spying. But that is beside the point. I happened to hear part
of a conversation
between her and your wife,” he said with a smirk. “Most of it was idle and
mindless chatter, but I did catch a bit of something more...interesting.”
“What do you mean by interesting?” asked Draco.
“Well, I heard a few things from your wife, but nothing you
don’t already know about,” he said. Draco nodded. “Go on, “ he said.
“Well, the most interesting thing I heard was that Jen cares about you a
bit more then just friends,” Severus said with a smirk. “SHE LOVES ME
TOO?” Draco practically screeched. Severus once again smirked. “It seems
you are quite lucky I thought to cast a silencing spell before I entered,” he
said. “And it also seems that she’s not the only one.” “And just what is that
supposed to mean?” asked Draco.
“Well, it seems to me, and I quote, She loves me too, is
something one would say if they loved someone as well,” Severus said with
an I-Won-This-Time look. Draco turned bright red. “Well...maybe....I do,” he
said. “But I can’t let her know. I mean, I’m married.” “That didn’t stop your
wife did it? And besides, this might be an actual reason for you two to get
divorced.” Severus said.
“Ok, well...I’ll look into it. But I think we need to try a little...
experiment,” Draco said, looking evilly at Severus. “Oh no. You’re not really
suggesting that I-” started Severus. “Of course I am. And your going to be
the one to lure the girls into our little trap. Make them think it was all their
idea,” said Draco, smirking. “But Draco,” Severus whined. “I don’t want to!
You know about me and-” “Yes I am aware, and trust me I know all I need
to know,” Draco said, looking disgusted.
“And besides, if you do this, I might just get a divorce, and you
know what that would mean.” Severus smiled faintly. “Fine, I’ll do it. But if
this doesn’t work, I blame you!” he said. Then he stood and quickly left the
room. “Severus, you underestimate love,” Draco said to himself, before
standing up and heading to the kitchen to get a hot cocoa. Draco was in such
a hurry that he didn’t notice a figure standing in the shadows. “Oh yes. I do
love blackmail. Severus isn’t the only one who can spy,” the voice said, as it
slowly pulled back the extendable ear it had been using. Then the spy swooped
away to tell her friend the news.
A/N 2: Ok, very, very short, but this chapter was nessasary, and I didn't
have much time today. But, a slight cliffy, so all I have to say is:MUHAHAHAHAHA!
