The event of the year was happening, three years after the war Hermione and Draco were to be married! This was an event not to be missed by all, the first time ever a Malfoy was joined in marriage to a Muggle-born. Hermione was nervouse running around her room with Ginny chasing her trying to calm the witch down. "What if it all goes wrong Ginny? What if no-one turns up? What if it rains?" Ginny was exhausted, collapsing on the bed she looked at her friend. "What if? Hermione it will be fine, now sit still and let me fix your hair the ceramony is only an hour away."

Draco looked over at Harry, his best man looked more skittish then him. Harry and Draco had become close friends after the war, Ron and he still fought but the red head had come to terms that Hermione loved Draco and that was enough for Ron to be nice. "Harry sit down, sheesh the way your acting anyone would think you were getting married." Looking put out Harry sat down looking at his best friend's new husband to be. "You better treat her right Malfoy." Draco laughed, he heard this nearly every time Harry was in a weird mood. "Yes Harry for the hundreth time I will treat as a princess, as the new Lady Malfoy she will want for nothing." Harry nodded looking up at the time, "Well come on Draco its time to secure that ball and chain." Walking out of the room Draco smiled, it was time to marry not only his true love but his best friend.

Draco could only stare in wonder at the beauty that was Hermione, she glowed, walking next to her father towards him. Her dress was white and hung low on her body, for the wedding had Muggle and wizards alike they had settled on a traditional muggle wedding with a ribbon binding as well. Many of Hermione's family were confused, but it was explained that it was Draco's religion. Standing next to Draco Hermione stared up into his eyes, her own reflecting her love and devotion for him. The wedding lasted no more then just under an hour then they all headed to the reception. Draco swept hermione onto the dance floor as the wedding waltz played.

"Are you happy luv?" Hermione looked at Draco confused by his question, "Of course I am Draco, I have the love of my life in my arms and all my family and friends are here to watch this union." Grinning Draco spun her around dipping Hermione backwards, placing a kiss on her lips. "How long do we have to stay?" Laughing Hermione swatted his arm, "At least another hour"

Everyone in the room could see the love flowing from the couple, consumed by the love he saw in his friends Harry decided to finally bite the bullet, kneeling he held Ginny's hand holding out the ring box. "I could not think of a better moment Ginny, so please will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?" Squealing Ginny pulled him up wrapping her arms around him, "I thought you would never ask, Of course I will."

The wedding was finally over with Ron catching Hermione's garter and Luna catching the bouquet. Draco grinned as Harry slapped ron on the back commenting on how the last of the trio would be hooked soon. Grasping Hermione close, they gave their farwells as they left the church, sliding into the shadows where they apperated to their Honeymoon destination.
