Trust Me

Chapter 4

“Where’s Harry?” Hermione asked her boyfriend that evening during dinner.
“I don’t know. I haven’t seen him since he left breakfast.” Ron answered.
“I’m worried about him Ron. He has been acting differently lately and he doesn’t eat anymore.”
Ron was about to say something but at that moment Professor Dumbledore had rose from his seat.

“Attention everyone. I have announcement to make.”

Everyone had started whispering to each other. They had no clue what Dumbledore had to say. Ron and Hermione gave each other a worried look before Professor Dumbledore started talking again.

“ Potions has been cancelled for a time.” at this the great hall went up with cheers. When it got quiet again he continued to talk. “Professor Snape will no longer be working at Hogwarts. He has done something very unforgivable. Now I have never kept anything from you so I am going to tell you what happened. Or as much information I know. I am sure that many of you have noticed that Mr. Harry Potter has been acting quite off lately. That has been because Professor Snape has been rapeing him since we have come back to school. I have removed Snape from Hogwarts before he hurts anyone else. Harry is in the Hospital wing. A fellow student had caught Snape in the act and has been awarded house points for his effort in protecting his fellow classmates. At the time I ask that none of you go and visit Mr. Potter. I will let you all no when you are able to visit him.” With that Professor Dumbledore sat back down. As soon as he sat down the great hall broke out with chatter all over again.

“Mione, you think we should use Harry’s cape and go see him tonight.” Ron whispered in her ear.
Hermione thought about it for a minute and then answered her boyfriend. “No Ron, Professor Dumbledore would let us go up if he knew it would be ok. He wouldn’t keep us from seeing him. Professor Dumbledore has a reason for ot allowing anyone to see him and I think it is best we listen to him.”
“Ok Mione, your probably right.”
“I am right Ron.” Ron just rolled his eyes but decided she was right and decided it better not to go and see Harry that night.

Later on that evening Draco was sitting in his bed reading Harry’s journal. He noticed right away that it had more pictures that entries. Harry was a good artist he thought to himself. There were pictures of Ron and Hermione. There were pictures of the three of them together. But what shocked Draco the most was that there were a lot more pictures of him than anyone else.

As he read on he found entries about Harry’s true feelings for him. He knew he shouldn’t have looked at Harry’s journal but he was curious. He had seen Harry working in it a lot. Even though he knew it was wrong he was relieved. His beloved Harry love him back. But would Harry still love him after he finds out he went through his journal? Would Harry be traumatized from what Snape had done to him?
Later on that night Draco apparated into the hospital wing. Harry was still unconscious. However Harry looked better on the outside but Draco knew there was a lot of damage on the inside. He gently kissed Harry on the forehead. He sat down on the chair next to Harry’s bed.

Draco had started to fall asleep when Harry started to stir.
“Harry?” Draco whispered quietly.

Harry quickly sat up and started to panic. Draco quickly went to his side and soothingly rubbed Harry’s hair. “Shhh Harry, your ok. No one is going to hurt you.”
“Draco?” Harry had barely whispered but Draco was able to hear him. “Yeah Harry it’s me.”
Harry just leaned into Draco’s Shoulder and started to cry. All while Draco held him and talked to him soothingly.
Finally Harry started to calm back down.
“Draco why did you help?”
“Because I wanted to know what was going with you. You haven’t been yourself Harry. I also noticed the way Snape was watching you all the time. When I saw what he did to you I couldn’t leave you there.”

At that Harry started to cry again. He couldn’t help it. With everything that has happened and with his feeling for Draco he was just an emotional wreck.
“Harry don’t cry. Everything will be okay.”
“Draco….” Harry’s words were cut off with a sob.
“Shhh Harry you need more sleep. I’ll visit you tomorrow night.” With that Draco put Harry into a deep dreamless sleep and returned to his room to get some rest before he had to go to class in just a few short hours.
