Chapter 4
Remus and Sirius showed up at the Potter house five minutes after the black car drove off. Sirius couldn’t wait for the twins to see the gifts he got them. Remus on the other hand couldn’t wait for Harry to see what he got for him. He had been saving all year for this, being a werewolf he didn’t have the opportunity to make much money. He had gotten him a pendent with a phoenix, which had emeralds for, eyes and whose wings were spread in flight. Below the phoenix was a wolf with amethysts for eyes. The best part about the amulet was that it had many protection charms, a locator charm, and was a portkey if the need arose. He thought Harry would love it, and better yet it would protect him.
He and Sirius walked into the house and the first think he noticed was that Harry hadn’t been waiting for him on the steps like he always was. Looking around he noticed Sirius was already with Jason giving him a hug as Lily and James sat on the couch, but there was no sign of Harry.
“Lily, James where is Harry?” He asked looking around incase the boy was hiding.
James looked at him and said, “A lady from an orphanage came and took him a little while ago. We needed to focus on Jason and couldn’t do that if we were worrying about Harry.”
Sirius looked mad when he heard this, but Remus was furious. How could they give away his cub like that, the wolf in him saw Harry as his cub and did not want him to be gone.
“What orphanage?” he asked intent on going there and getting Harry back even if he had to take him and disappear with him to keep him. He was going to get him back.
Lily was the one to answer him, “I don’t remember the name of it, do you James?” James just shook his head.
Remus was now irate. “How could you just give up your own son, and not remember where you sent him? He was you son does that not mean anything to you. There were other things you could have done if you didn’t want to take care of him. I would have taken him, Sirius would have taken him.” At this Sirius nodded his head glaring at James and Lily. With that both Sirius and Remus walked out the door, birthday party forgotten. That was the day both decided not to go back to the Potter’s. They started searching all orphanages in Britain looking for their lost godson. They weren’t going to give up until he was found.
