Chapter 4: NOT Meant To Be?
Written by: Flamesky

“The Italian Alps?!”

The Angel pushed away from the Demon, the cold strong air hitting him hard as he stepped on the snowy ground, around him were several mountain peeks. He gasped, puffs coming out of his mouth. Clutching his arms around himself for protection he flashed Draco an angry, confused and scared look all at once.

The cold air didn’t seem to touch the blond at all as he looked around calmly, eyeing Harry with a fulfilled look. He pursed his lips, silver eyes flashing as he showed pearl whites at his nervous mate. “Speak!” He practically screamed as the wind bellowed making him shiver.

“Well actually, we’d be more in Switz-” “Shut up!” The Demon eyed quietly the other boy, a nerve seemed to be pulsing heavily now, just at the side of his forehead. He breathed in the frosty air. For several moments, the blond found himself rapt in those furious emerald jewels. As he blinked, he swore not to be weak under that gaze. And so, he smirked.

“I thought you wanted me to speak?” He raised a blond brow. The Angel looked up at him disbelievingly as he muttered something while his hands rubbed on his arms for some warmth. “How did you bring us here?” The Angel stammered instead. “Certainly you couldn’t apparate, for all the things I know, you can’t do that in Hogwarts!” Again, the Demon let some time pass before responding as he approached Harry. “I’m a Demon.” Came the easy response. Harry twitched but didn’t move. “I know that.” The Angel glared, leaning back at the same time as the blond invaded his personal space. Suddenly, he was wrapped in strong and most important, warm arms. Harry’s mouth opened, eyes closing as he shivered repeatedly in the warmth. “Better?” Soothing hands rubbed up and down his back.

Harry gulped; chin resting on the taller boy’s shoulder. “Yeah..?” The Angel’s icy hands curled on the expensive feeling and looking robe. Draco smiled cheekily and rubbed his face on Harry’s hair as he did so. To this, the Angel pulled away but only managed to push on the blonds’ chest as the other kept him with a firm hold on his elbows. “Stop playing with my emotions.” Harry blushed at the intimidate gesture the Demon had done. Silver eyes twinkled. “Am I?” There it came, that sudden twist, jump and pull of his heart. Harry gulped looking away before glaring up at him again. “Look, why on earth are we here??” “Simple, I wanted to get you out of Dumbledore’s, your Godfather and he’s mate reach.” “Here?” Harry shivered again, his lips becoming pale. “I’m cold.” He said winded, Draco chuckled. “I know.” Again, he came to circle Harry’s waist.

“That’s another reason why this choice, entirely.” Harry gasped at the bluntness and with all the force he could master, begun to punch the taller boy’s chest. “You low sneaky insect!” He shrilled. Draco chuckled again and took hold of the Angel’s wrists. “I want to go back! Now!” Another amused smirk crossed the handsome features of the blond. “If you really insist.” Harry-if possibly, palled even more as hand came to grip his cheek so to lift his lips to descending ones. “What!? You stop it!” This time, Harry succeeded in stepping away from the other.

“You can’t do that all the bloody times you wish!” A blush lighted him with anger. Draco eyed him pleasantly and crossed his arms. “Can you give me a reason?” Harry stammered before spitting back. “I don’t want you to!” Draco uncrossed his arms suddenly, he still kept his gaze on Harry but this time, it was unreadable. The Demon seemed to be struggling on an inner fight, his lips twisting slightly before he closed his eyes and exhaled. When he opened them, the mercury mists looked calm again. Harry got even more frustrated to that.

“Right, I’ll believe that for now.” He raised a hand before Harry could protest. “If you want to get back then,” The Angel vaguely noticed the Demon’s clutched other hand. “I’ll need to kiss you.” He added almost coldly. Harry blinked as he let out an embarrassed laugh. He huffed, crossing his own arms and looked away nervously. “Stop pulling my leg.” Emerald eyes turned several times to steady silver ones feeling unsure by the next freezing second. “You are right, apparating is not allowed in Hogwarts and so I made a portkey.” Harry frowned up at him, not understanding. “What? But then…When-you…” Harry’s eyes became large.
“You didn’t!” Harry backed off from the Demon.

“I did.”

“You couldn’t!”

“We’re here.” Came the calm response again.

“What the heck were you thinking when you made my darned mouth a portkey?!” Draco smirked, a lot of things, he thought smugly. “Eh, no wrong.” He contradicted his mate. “That would have been way to easy escape for you now, wouldn’t it have?” As Harry pointed at him flabbergasted Draco nodded. Harry shivered as he closed his eyes and almost jumped on his feet exasperatingly.
“Gods!” He exclaimed up at the skies. A wicked grin curled on Draco’s lips. “Ah-ah.” He shook his head. “Don’t call him in the middle, now.” Harry slapped his forehead, hand caressing his eyes. He staid silent for some few moments. “Er, fine.” He whispered finally. “Pardon?” Harry looked up fuming. “I said, fine.” Came the nasty respond between cringing teeth. The Demon eyed him curiously before closing the space between them.

“I’ll bring you back then.” Harry looked away, blush increasing. “Just…Get it over and done with.” Again, Draco looked at him wordlessly as he studied his mate. Many thoughts passed in his mind, thoughts that were interrupted when an inpatient green stare told him some time had passed. Draco didn’t apologize, instead, he brought the shorter boy flushed against him before finding his lips. Harry’s eyes fluttered close almost spontaneously as the now familiar pull to his waist told him that indeed, the portkey were Draco’s lips.

When the feeling stopped, Harry opened his eyes to find silver ones gazing at him intently. The Angel gasped and went back, the soft warm kiss still tickling on his lips. They were in that weird unknown room again, alone. There was something in the way the Demon looked at him that made Harry sore. The Angel looked away; as he did he noticed that the Soul Mate books were gone. Without another word or look, he made it for the door to then find Draco in front of him.

“Malfoy!” He gasped stepping back. The Demon was leaning on the door, hands gripping on the handle behind him as he had that blank look again. Silver eyes hardened. “Potter?” He asked with mild interest. “This is ridicules.” Spat the Angel. It was time to show some backbone. “Step out of my way.” At the threatening tone, Draco raised an eyebrow and looked at him. “Make me.” Enough was enough for Harry. He was tired, scared, confused and not to motion terribly aroused and-No, no, no! With a final glare, the Angel turned his back to the persistent blond until he was at some good feet distance. Draco watched this curiously. The raven headed boy turned, shoulder ascended in several deep inhales. “Right.” He muttered to himself. “What am I doing?” With that, he closed his eyes, head dropping forward and stayed completely still. God…He thought. I need to...

Draco suddenly bolted from his carefree position, blond brows meeting confused. Then, Harry walked forwards and stopped only inches away from the Demon. When he raised his head again, his beautiful deceiving emerald eyes were open. He raised a hand, capturing the blonds’ attention with it, and waved it to the left. Draco looked at Harry questionably before he found himself pulled not too gently towards the left wall. “You bloody Angel!” He roared with anger as he was slammed on the hard surface.
Harry breathed out a little surprised by his own doings and stepped towards the door.
“Unblock me now!” Green eyes shifted to the struggling Demon that glared at him. Harry’s hands clutched the door as weird flashes came to his mind and he shook his head. “No.”

“Harry!” Said Angel froze in mid step at the commanding tone. He blinked slowly as he turned to face the Demon. Again, Draco had that weird look on his face as he looked at Harry. The Angel licked his lips, nervous under the insistent stare. “I’ll see you again.” The voice was low, full of promise. “I will.” He nodded with barely controlled range. “And the next time, I won’t let you off so easily.”

Without a response, Harry made a run for it.
***

“Sure you don’t want some water?” There was a sigh in response as the green eyed Angel looked up from his curled position. Sirius frowned up to his mate, Harry’s face looked blank.

“Look, I’m sorry Harry.” The older Angel dropped on the bed next to his Godson. Remus on the other side did the same. “It shouldn’t have happened, Dumbledore even said that. It wasn’t meant to be that way.” Harry nodded as he bit on his lower lip occasionally. Eyes were full of tears. “It was horrible feeling so hopeless.” He said. “He’s so arrogant, demanding and so…” He bit his trembling lips again trying to find some other word. “I don’t like him. He scares me, he’s so cold and-and I don’t know. I’ve never felt what he made me feel, it was weird it was…It was wrong! It felt so wrong!” Harry’s heart gave faint thumps as the last weak words of the Angel dissolved in the air. Remus smiled sadly but didn’t say anything. Golden eyes went to meet worried blue. “Harry,” Sirius tried again. “I can’t Sirius. There are lots of things I don’t understand at the moment. I will at due time but now…Let me pray.”

“Come on.” Whispered Remus as he nodded towards the door. Sirius sighed and kissed his Godson’s hair. “It will be alright.” Harry nodded, closing his eyes as he did. The older Angel then, turned around to exit the room with he’s own mate.

Harry’s eyes finally opened and closed. A tear ran down his cheek as he sat up but quickly leaned back down. The world seemed to spin. He stayed on his bed for several hours, thinking, crying, wondering and praying. Till finally, he kept on falling in exhausted sleep and waking up several times did he hear the voice.

“Harry.”

A chocked cry escaped the boy’s mouth.

“Oh, Harry don’t cry.” The Angel twisted in his bed, curling himself up eyes close concentrated on the voice. “Hard not too.” He responded. “You saw…”

There was silence. “Yes, I did.”

“Forgive me, please.” “I understand Harry. You did what was right to do in that moment.” The Angel didn’t reply. “What worries you now, my Angel?” “Father, he took advantage of me. I let him, I was weak.” He whispered. “And, I can’t explain it.” “What, my Angel?” “I’ve seen he’s face before. It freezes my heart with fear for a reason I don’t know.” “Soon, you shall find what it is.” “I don’t want too.” “Why?” “I feel like staying here forever, I wish I could close my eyes and be back home. I can’t face him again. He brings out things from me…” “Things?” “Feelings, emotions…Anger, fear,” The Angel whispered. “Lust and desire, I’ve never…”
“These feelings are not wrong, my Harry.” In the Angel’s concentrated state, he frowned.
“It’s when you have lots inside to give.” God paused. “To give Harry, and be returned…”
***

A day passed from the sudden meeting with he’s mate. The Angel had felt better after his pray to God which, to both of their surprises, Harry himself had managed a telepathy contact-with God, something that required years of practises to achieve! Hermione had got to be proud. However, it had weakened the Angel a bit, and had ended sleeping the rest of the day off. None of his dreams were pleasant.

To Harry’s horror, the dreams he had once dream for many years had suddenly come back. Scenes of the Demon attack to his parents played again. A voice laughed cruelly, the sound echoing. He’s mother, shouting coming to hold him. And that Demon…He was still laughing above them. Then he spoke, voice awfully familiar and the way he moved…

Harry towel dried himself as he stepped out of the shower. “I won’t think of it anymore.” He muttered to no one. With a wave of his hand, the fogged up mirror cleared up. From behind the door he could hear Remus talking to Sirius. He sighed, green eyes wondering over his face when suddenly, he noticed the reddish mark on his pulse point. The Angel gasped as he touched the bruised skin. Immediately, the images of the blond kissing him, holding him tightly while lightly sucking and sinking he’s teeth in Harry’s neck came to mind. “Oh gosh.” He trembled, heart starting its marathon again. Draco Malfoy was affecting Harry in more ways he could have ever imagined.

Even if their first encounter had been quick and brief, in those few minuets, the Demon had managed to get under his skin. Literally. Again, the Angel shivered. Half of him had expected for it to be love. Now though, as he dressed up he cursed himself for thinking such foolish things. Love…From a Demon. That needed quite a miracle. Harry froze at the thought but shook his head and went out of the bathroom. He didn’t even know what he felt, apart from fear; something he knew wasn’t supposed to be there. So he tormented himself, wondering why a relationship as Soul Mate’s was described to be the best gift one could have. A bond placed on dominating another with carnal lust, commanding with fear…Harry didn’t see love in that. He didn’t see love in Draco Malfoy.

Even if he had seen nothing yet.

“Harry?”
The Angel turned and smiled lightly. “Yeah?”
He’s Godfather hesitated a little and walked out of Remus’ embrace. “Are you feeling well this morning?” Harry’s smile wavered just a little but he nodded as he went comb his hair. “Great. Beautiful day, isn’t it?” Remus’ cheery voice came in. He smiled at Harry, inserting his hands in his pant’s pockets casually. He knew what was to come as he looked at his edgy mate and decided it was best to keep the waters calm…Some more. “I’d like to visit Hogwarts’ grounds today. I’ve heard there is a beautiful garden near the lake.”

“Harry,” Tried Sirius again. Harry suddenly brushed his hair with more force. “Right.” Responded Remus feeling confused at the scene. Sirius sighed as he rubbed his neck, “Harry…” He said in a defeated voice. “Don’t ignore me.” The Angel finally stopped his frantic attempts in setting his hair right and started at the other. Harry’s face darkened a little but he smiled nonetheless. “Yes?” Sirius exhaled, looking him strait in the eye. “You will see your mate again, today.” Harry nodded, stomach knotting all over again. “I know. I felt it.” Remus clapped him on the shoulder ready to say something. “And by the way, don’t call him that!” Harry’s sudden shout made the two jump. The Angel walked away from Remus, eyes watching Sirius carefully. “He has a name you know, Draco Malfoy! Stop calling him, ‘my mate’, alright?” Blue eyes blinked before suddenly hardening. “Right.” He laughed bitterly. Harry frowned as he watched Sirius shaking his head disbelievingly. “Malfoy.” The older Angel repeated. “Look, I don’t know what you’re talking about-” “Harry drop it.” The Angel turned to the werewolf. He had never used that hard voice on him. The sandy haired man walked towards Sirius and held the confused shocked mate to him. Then, seen the tears shining in the older Angel’s eyes, Harry unfroze from his angered state. He took a step forward.

“What’s wrong?”
***

Three guests sat before Albus Dumbledore’s table. The said man smiled up at them. Professor McGonagall was waiting patiently on the near right of the desk. Her eyes shifted towards the blond boy that sat elegantly on the chair, he’s cold eyes stared at her back with light disgust. Next to him was Professor Snape, greasy hair, corked nose and black robes all in place as was, he’s onyx eyes flashing disapprovingly at the Headmaster. There was an uneasy feeling in the room as they waited for Harry Potter.

“Gummy bear?”

The question was forgotten as a sudden knock echoed in the silent room.
“Come on in.” Said the headmaster as McGonagall had already stood up to open the door to the new visitors.
“Hello Minerva,” “Remus, Sirius.” She nodded to the couple as they walked in.
“Professor.” At that voice, Draco bolted around in his chair-ignoring the glares from the other two, and watched Harry come in quietly. He knew instantly that something was wrong with him. The Angel nodded towards Dumbledore but stopped there. “Welcome in, welcome in. Ok now, shall we start?” Harry didn’t meet the Demon’s eyes. “This Harry is professor Snape, our potions master.” The boy looked up as the greasy haired teacher stood. He eyed him with displeasure and shook hands. Draco watched this closely, the restless he was feeling inside was starting to get the best of him. He didn’t like it that Harry was ignoring him.

“Potter.” The boy nodded curtly at the man, eyes turning to he’s guide. There was something very different of Harry, even Dumbledore noticed as the boy crossed his arms and looked down scornfully. Albus nodded as he changed a look with a grave Sirius. “Ahh, so you know.” Harry’s jaw bones quivered. A sudden silent had fallen in the room again. “How long were you going to keep it from me?” He asked, barely keeping his anger under control. Rasing his gaze to the old man’s, Harry stepped forward. “Why?” He asked desperately.
“Why what?” All in the room, apart from Harry, turned to Draco, who had stood up looking at the Angel with his unreadable expression. “Why what?” he demanded again. Harry sighed, eyes fixed on Dumbledore’s beared. He wouldn’t look at the Demon, no he wouldn’t.

“You were meant to find out by yourself.”
“And who decided that?” Asked the Angel in a small voice. Dumbledore shifted his eyes towards Draco before looking up at Harry once more. “Our Lord did.”

“Did what?!” The blond Demon was getting more irritated now. Harry closed his eyes, tears stinging them. He didn’t hear Snape’s scowls at the younger Demon or felt Sirius’ hand on his shoulder. “I want to be alone with him.” The Angel finally said. There were some gasps in the room, even Draco quieted down. Dumbledore watched Harry closely. The boy had a determined look on his face; deep emeralds seemed distant as they finally turned to the Demon. “Harry?”

Not minding Sirius, Harry started at the other boy, eyebrows meeting together for seconds before he looked away. “I’ll be outside.” He whispered. The headmaster nodded as he exited the office.

Draco straightened up. “Well,” he said in fake tranquillity. “I’ll be going.” “Don’t smirk, you bloody serpent.” “Mr. Black!” McGonagall sounded shocked. Silver eyes flashed dangerously at Sirius but didn’t say anything, just raised his brow and reached for the door. “Draco.” Warned Snape. The Demon nodded turned to look at him before he nodded once again as he left.

“I don’t like this.” Sirius said as he walked in front of Dumbledore. “You are he’s guide, you can’t permit that to happen! Look what happened last time!” The old man nodded. “Yes, but it wasn’t I that permitted that. Harry chose by his own wills.” “But ah.” Sirius blinked. “He’s a Malfoy.” He said slowly. “And he’s mate, Black.” Added Snape not to kindly. “Please, gentleman!” Hushed the only female in the room. Remus grabbed Sirius before he could jump Snape. Golden eyes glared at the Professor. “I’m sure nothing too bad will happen. I spoke with Draco personally.” Said Snape. Dumbledore sighed again.

“We will see how things will go.”

***

Draco stepped in the corridor with agility. He looked around, Harry wasn’t there. He stepped forward, his hawk like gaze alerted as his senses seemed to be analysing the air. Draco suddenly made move for a left and walked quickly to another corridor. Several windows made the sun touch the hard stone floors and there, standing before one, was the Angel. Draco breathed in the site of him, he didn’t know what was wrong and the thought agitated him for some reason. He felt preoccupied, something he had hardly felt for anyone other than his family. Slowly, he made his way towards the shorter boy; his heart gave heavy thumps, senses going crazy all over again. He stopped just next to him.

“Like you said, here I am. Seen you again.” Harry didn’t look away from the window. Draco rested his shoulder on the wall. “Yes.” Harry turned, surprised at first to find him so close but then looked away. Shifting on he’s feet, Harry exhaled.

“I wanted to…Apologize.” Harry really looked surprised now, as he turned his eyes to deep silver. Draco stepped closer so he too could look in the window. The Angel studied him closely. “I’m sorry if I scared you.” Harry blinked but stepped to the other side of the window. The Demon felt slight annoyance but tried again. “I am.” He said. “I shouldn’t have been…The way I was. I’m sorry, really.” Green eyes met silver. “I can’t see if you’re true about that.” He responded flatly. “Does that matter?” The Angel frowned. “It does.” The blond breathed in. “I can’t help it.” He finally said in what seemed to Harry, honesty.

“I have these feelings for you, strong ones.” Draco stopped momentary to look at the Angel. “I can’t pretend, I can’t be sorry about something I longed to do, to feel…To have.” Harry gulped heavily, he hadn’t expected that answer. “It’s that it? I’m one of your objects to have? Posses? You don’t even know me!”
“But you are mine.” Said the Demon. “I am not!” Insisted Harry. “I’m a person! I breathe; I speak, see and touch! I live.” Desperate to make the other understand, he took the Demon’s hand and placed it on his frenetic heart. “Do you feel that?” Draco froze, his hormones practically playing bells as the beat of he’s mate heart thumped under his hand. He closed his eyes; it was like music to his ears. “Yes.” He breathed. Harry’s hands shook a little as they gripped on the wrist. “That’s my heart.” Silver eyes opened. “Do you know what that is?” Draco snorted. “Of course I do.” He’s hand was suddenly thrown away. He looked bewildered now.

“What are you getting at?” “It’s mine.” Harry said weakly, his own hand went to his chest’s left side. “And I only will decide who is worthy of it.”

“Wait a second.” Draco was frowning. “You’re talking about love.” “Yes!” At this, the Demon’s face seemed in pain. “It’s all about love!” A hard expression came on the blonds’ face, he crossed his arms. “So you think I’m not worthy.” He stated. In return, Harry glared back. “Like many things, nature isn’t perfect. It works in weird ways, fascinating at times too. I could say that of many things, like what people call destiny.” The Angel paused and looked away. “We, we are each other’s destiny.” He looked up to the Demon that nodded. “But we aren’t meant to be.” Draco froze. “What are you trying to say now?” “It’s clear isn’t it?” Harry shrugged, as he walked forward. He swang around.

“You don’t want love while I did, but I can’t. I’ll never find it in you, no matter what the stars say.” He blinked back tears. “It was hard for me…To find out you were a Demon, you know?” Draco stepped forward. “It wasn’t exactly easy for me to find you were an Angel.” Harry shook his head. “Not just because of that.” Resentment was taking over him.

“You are a murder.” He breathed.

Draco gapped at him before finding his cool again. “I’m a what?”
“A murder.” Hissed the Angel. “Or well, the son of one. Your father killed my parents, twelve years ago! Now, may I ask you…How may I be with you?!” Draco stepped back, truthfully shocked. “My father?” Harry nodded rubbing his tears away. “You know why the only reason I’m alive?” He didn’t wait for a respond. “My mother protected me but I was left with this scar.” For the first time, Draco saw the lighting shaped scar on Harry’s forehead as he lifted the hair covering it. Suddenly in the Demon’s mind all cleared.

“You…You are the boy that managed to survive.” “Whatever!” Shouted the Angel to the Demon’s face. “The point here is that I can’t! I can’t go trough with this!” Draco shook his head for the millions of time now. “No! I’m not my father! You can’t blame me for something I didn’t do!” “You are!” Shrilled the Angel. “I remember that day perfectly. You were the one to bring out those memories, you…With your damn demanding ways and-” Harry breathed in quickly, eyes closing.
“You’re exactly like him.”

Draco closed his mouth as he glared at the other boy. He took a step forward. “Like I don’t know you, you don’t know me.” He hissed in a low tone. As the Angel opened his tearful eyes, Draco’s insides melted. “I don’t need a reason,” gulped the Angel. “To be angry at God.” The Demon snorted incredulously, looking away to recollect himself. “You see this…Whole thing isn’t possible?” “No.” Harry frowned. “If we are soul mates, there must be a reason.” Harry’s shoulder shook, it took some time before Draco realized that the other was laughing. “I don’t see any!” He said bitterly. The two looked at each other in the eyes.

“So this is the end? You’re going to give up without even trying?” “What is there to loose?” Shrugged the Angel as he looked regretfully back at the scenery. Draco shook his head at the boy and quickly turned him around. Once Harry was facing him, Draco cupped the soft cheeks between his hands and pressed a yearning gentle kiss on the ruby lips. He could feel the Angel slump against the window as he deepened it slightly. Caressing the silky flesh, Draco’s hand slid slowly down the Angel’s neck to then go in the messy hair. It was incredibly soft to the touch.

Harry whimpered imperceptibly in the kiss. Draco was making him feel hot inside, those lips as they stroked against his made him come to life. As he felt the Demon’s probing tongue ask for permission, he didn’t hesitate in responding. The blond moaned, still keeping the kiss terribly gentle. It made Harry’s heart beat incredibly and much to his own amazement, he wanted more. With trembling hands, the Angel pulled for the Demon to come closer. He did, the kiss intensifying just a tad. It was so frustrating, Harry’s body was sparking, Draco’s touch was like fire and he wanted it all over his body. Yes, he wanted it, he wanted Draco. The feelings erupting in the Angel were new but pleasant, he allowed them to wash over him as he moaned in return.

Then, Draco let go of the Angel’s lips. Both were panting heavily as their foreheads rested untied. The Demon’s thumb did lazy circles on the other boy’s cheek as he nuzzled the tressure in his arms. Harry did the same, mind still fogged as he rubbed his lips on Draco’s chin in return. He gulped as Draco’s hand brushed down to the small of his back and as they were cheek to cheek, the Demon whispered. “This.”

“This is what your going to loose.” Came the pant. Harry gaped slightly at that was murmured in his ear. Shivers ran down his spine, the hot breath was tickling him. When the full message of what Draco had said hit him, something in his heart ached. Again, Harry gasped, his own lips been close to the blonds’ ear. It was so difficult for the Angel, but he stepped back from the protective embrace. There was no space at all between them as Harry’s back came flushed against the wall and really, it hadn’t been of any use. Silver eyes rose to those emerald gems. Harry’s cheeks were rosy, lips shiny even redder than before while his eyes had never seemed so alive under the Demon’s gaze.

Draco caressed him again, not helping it as a small smile curled on his lips. That weird sensation gripped his heart, and the smile widened. Truthfully amazed, Harry smiled back. It was the first time he had ever seen the Demon smile…In such way. He blinked trying to understand as those slender fingers travelled down his chin to the rise towards his bottom lip. “You are beautiful.” Admitted the Demon, clear eyes attained to discover and explore every part of Harry’s face. The Angel breathed as another blush tinted his cheeks. Draco could feel it heat under his fingertips, it was fascinating. He leaned forward pressing a kiss on the warm cheek. He pressed another and another till Harry lifted his face and looked up at him.

“And what is this, exactly?” He asked softly. Draco froze as he looked at him. The Angel’s brow rose underlining the question. Harry waited, but nothing came out from the strangely quite boy. Disappointment made his heart sink and brake in million of pieces all at the same time. He chuckled sadly as he looked away and pulled off of Draco. He had almost hoped and prayed, for the Demon to answer him. He wanted him to answer him, needed him too. But he didn’t and that felt like the biggest catastrophe that could have ever happened at that very moment.

It knocked the air out of Harry’s lungs as shock passed all over him. Green eyes turned to the Demon’s silver ones. He blinked, determined not to shed one more tear in front the stone like boy in front of him. “Have a good day.” Said Harry as he quickly bolted towards the corridor he thought was to he’s rooms. Once he turned a corner he begun to run and run…

He went to different corridors till he saw those familiar doors and pushed into them, they opened and he found himself outside of Hogwarts. Harry breathed out and rubbed off some tears that had nested under his chin. A small cry escaped him as he stumbled forward. Even if his body was shaking with range, shock and tears he managed to reach the lake. The Angel faltered towards the rocks that lay there. Some leaded in the lake he noticed that as he climbed on one. He looked back, the castle was far away.

“Good.” He muttered as he sat. Harry hugged his knees, head resting on them. “Good…” The voice trembled as Harry’s eyes fielded with tears again. He began to rock himself as he inhaled deeply. Every breath ended with a shaky exhale.

Suddenly, Harry cried as pain stung his back. He’s shout echoed around, bouncing back at him as he was contorted in more pain. Then, his robes ripped rather easily as beautiful white wings sprang from beneath. Again, he wailed loosing his balance. As he fell on the ground, his head knocked on a rock, leaving a purple bump on the side of his head. He groaned as a shaky hand came to touch it. Harry hissed as he went to feel his cheek, there was blood on his fingers. Before he
lost complete consciences, he felt hands reach for him. Whispers were been murmured into his ear but he couldn’t make any of them.

Harry’s wings were wide open and curled on his body as if wanting to protect the boy. He sighed exhausted, head lolling against a shoulder.
The Angel wanted to die there and then to end the slow torturing death fate had blessed him with.

And he knew nothing more.

AN: I know, I took forever but HP4 came out finally here in Australia and well, heh, made me quiet busy. Also, I don’t have lot of time to right anymore but I must say, this chapter took me some time in writing because I wasn’t sure if Harry should have had found so soon and in that way. But then, as things went along and time passed, I thought better of it.

Thanks for waiting! I'll try to be quicker next time.

Vacations are coming...Yay! Happy Xmas to all!
