Of talks and blushes

Chapter 4 - Of talks and blushes
Harry was a pile of nerves during the entire Potions Class, and the fact that Draco saw him staring was not helping him to calm down. When the class was finally over and all the students had left, the only ones in the classroom were Draco, Theodore and him.
The two Slytherins were beside each other, so Harry stoop up, turned the chair in front of them so he was facing the boys and sat.
The three of them were quiet for a minute, studying each other. Well, in Harry\'s case, studying Theodore, because there was no way in Hell he was going to face Draco. Well, until Draco cleared his throat for attention. Both boys looked at him when he started speaking.
\"Well, I know the three of us aren\'t exactly friends, but I was hoping we could get in some sort of agreement\". He gave a small pause, and when the other two boys nodded, he continued,
\"That\'s great, because I really want to win this. We have to act like a team if we want to have a chance\". He stopped, reached for his bag and took off some papers. He put the first one on the top of the desk,
\"Like Dumbledore said, the first part is a written test. I am guessing that the test will be full of tricky questions. Be aware, probably the obvious answer is the wrong one\".
Draco then showed them several questions from an IQ test he had taken when he was eleven. He scored 130, and the national average was 100. That was really impressing for a kid.
After they had trained where to look for tricks, Draco took another paper from his file.
\'When did he organize all this?\' - Harry was thinking, impressed with the Slytherin work.
\"The second part of the event is the Duel. In this list, I\'ve put the name of all the people we have to worry about. The Goblet of Fire really did a great job at selecting the teams; there is apparently at least one person in each team who can duel well\".
He sighed and continued,
\"The best duelists in Hogwarts are Blaise, Seamus Finnegan, and you Potter\". - Harry looked startled at this, blushing. Of course, he knew he could duel; he had faced Voldemort, for Christ sake. But hearing it from Draco made him shiver with delight. He smiled, and Draco continued,
\"We got very lucky on the second part, because Potter can take the strongest duelists, while Nott and I can duel well enough to deal with the rest. I don\'t have worries\".
Harry decided to ask a question,
\"But Malfoy, what if the Headmaster chooses who duels with who?\" - Draco smirked at this.
\"Good question, Potter. Well, me and Nott aren\'t Slytherins for nothing, you know. Dumbledore said that he would be testing creativity too. We have a few spells that are pretty creative\". - Draco smirked at Nott, who smirked right back.
And Harry suddenly felt totally out of place. Those two looked really evil right now, and Harry was just happy to be on their team, and not against them, for once.
And the last paper Draco took from his file was a plan on how they would organize themselves in the Treasure Hunt.
Draco explained the others his plan. They would get the first tip and each one of them would run to one part of Hogwarts grounds. They would decipher it together, using a telepathy spell and whoever was closer to the next hint would go take it and read it to the others.
Harry had to agree it was quite effective. If he was with Ron and Mione they would probably just run together to wherever they thought the treasure was. Harry was lost in thought when Theodore spoke,
\"Okay, I guess that\'s a good plan. But since I\'ve got nothing better to do, why don\'t we get to know each other a little better?\" - He paused and looked at Harry.
\"Potter, what do you want to do after graduation? Wait, don\'t tell me. Play quidditch or become an Auror?\"
Harry smirked at this, he was not THAT predictable…
\"Actually, I was thinking of studying magical medicine. After you see so many deaths, you just want to do something, you know? How about you guys?\"
\"Well, that was a surprise…\" - Theodore commented, and then answered \"I have no idea of what to do in the future. Let\'s just say it\'s a bit unstable right now.\"
Harry nodded and looked at Draco expectantly,
\"I want to become a Potions Master, \"New Potions Creator\", to be more exact. I already invented a couple, they\'re pretty easy, but my creation nonetheless.\" - Draco answered with a smug look.
Theodore leaned in and whispered in Draco\'s ear, just loud enough for Harry to hear,
\"I always knew you were talented, in more ways than one…\" - Draco stared a Nott warningly, and Harry just frowned, not liking that comment at all.
After they talked a bit more, Harry loosed up and started making comments and even, believe me, joke around the Slytherins. But it was suddenly gone when Draco asked,
\"So Potter, got a girlfriend yet?\"
Harry just KNEW he was blushing and he replied, embarrassed,
\"Not really… hum, there was Cho Chang in fifth year, and Ginny in sixth, but that just didn\'t work out\".
\"And why was that?\" - Draco asked again. Harry looked at him and saw the boy smiling a knowing smile, just waiting for him to embarrass himself.
\"I was attracted to someone else…\"
\"Really now? Wow, I wonder who the lucky girl is…\" - Draco said smirking and accentuating the world \'girl\'.
Harry blushed even more, and to distract their attention (especially from Nott, who kept throwing glances at him and then Draco in a suspicious way), asked if they had any girlfriends.
\"Nope, no one at the moment\". Draco said while running a hand through his hair.
\'God, does he know how sexy he is when he does that?\' Harry thought desperately. And then Nott spoke in a very possessive way, sending shivers down Harry\'s spine,
\"I don’t have anyone right now. Let\'s just say I\'m waiting for someone REALLY special\". - He said that last part staring straight at Draco, who just looked at him with annoyance and rolled his eyes.
But Harry didn\'t miss the seriousness in his tone.
After half an hour of more talking, Harry decided that it was time to leave. So, he said his goodbyes to the Slytherins and started walking to the Gryffindor Tower.
He couldn\'t stop his train of thoughts going to his blonde crush, and after analyzing all the looks and innuendos the boy threw his way, Harry panicked, reaching one conclusion,
\"He knows…\"
