Sleeping Harry

Hello. Sorry for people who re-read Sleeping Harry. I edited some minor errors because it was annoying me. I don\'t know if how many more chapters I will make, probably this one and one more. But like I said in the last one, only time shall tell.




~CHAPTER 3~


\"Shouldn\'t you be wearing dresses and have glittery wings and wands?\"


\"Oh ha ha.\" Sirius laughed sarcastically but good-naturedly. They left right when the sun was going down, since it would take awhile to get to the palace by walking. That was the first thing that Harry had said since they left, even though he said it with a hint of bitterness, but as long as he spoke, they didn\'t care. Harry was wearing the clothes that Sirius made and he looked absolutely gorgeous, even though Tonks muttered something about it not suiting his personality very well. Harry really did like the outfit but he wasn\'t in good spirits to really notice what he looked like In it. The way they were going, he had never been this far, so he was taking in as much of what he saw, in the dimness of the moonlight, and memorizing the way he came so he could somehow escape and go to the cabin tomorrow.

\"We\'re almost there.\" Remus announced. They all looked up and saw the palace at a distance. It was almost eleven so there weren\'t many lights on, but the palace was still distinguishable because of the moonlight. They trudged on and in about twenty-five minutes, they entered the palace through a secret back door of sorts. Torches were lit in the halls but sparsely so, so there were many shadows about. After a few minutes they entered one of the doors in the hall, which turned out to be a room.

\"Is this my room?\" It was sparsely furnished. It just had a bed, wardrobe, one chair, a nightstand and a vanity.

\"No, the wizard might expect that so this is just a temporary room until tomorrow comes.\" Tonks said while looking around to see if there was anything odd about the room, as did the others, but they didn\'t locate anything so they deemed it all right.

\"How do you know that he won\'t keep coming after me?\" Harry sat on the bed looking at them.

\"Well, he could still come after you but that is harder to do because you are older, wiser, and less likely to submit. Plus you are a teenager and their minds are harder to control. There are three results for a curse, technically four, but that one is to not get the curse in the first place. One of the results is to avoid the curse, like we are doing with you. Hiding until the threat has passed. Second is to resist it, but that depends on how powerful the caster is so it will be hard to resist your curse. And the third one is to let it play out. That result is bad for people who are cursed with a curse that would kill them but not so bad for you.\" Remus explained.

\"Well that\'s comforting.\" Sirius said sarcastically.

\"Did you have to use those examples?\" Tonks said scowling at him. Remus just looked at Harry. Harry seemed to be mulling it over.

\"It was informative. I\'m tired now.\" Harry said and to prove his point he yawned. Remus looked at the other two and nodded.

\"Before you sleep, we want to give you something.\" All three of them put their wand tips together and pulled them slowly apart. When they did a swirling light appeared in between the wands and formed into a circle. A brief flash of light happened and when it dimmed a circle of gold about two inched high and one/fourth inches wide appeared. Tonks took it and placed it on Harry\'s head, while tucking some of his hair behind his ears. She stood back when Harry stood up to look in the mirror. The crown looked like it was made of blocks even though it was all one piece. Every other block had a griffin printed in it. And in the other blocks were rubies. Tonks came up behind him and hugged him.

\"We\'ll be outside. If you can\'t find us just call out or go to the room across from you.\" Tonks whispered to him. Harry turned around and hugged her back. She made him lean down and kissed his forehead, then quickly turned and left. It looked like she was going to cry. Sirius came up to him and pulled Harry into a bear hug, which reminded him of his birthday hug. After a while he let go, pulled back, grabbed his shoulders, and looked him straight in the eye.

\"Harry. I just want you to know that we will always be there for you. And if it was me that you did fall in love with, then I wouldn\'t be too adverse to teach, well, things that would make the person you love very happy in a bedroom setting.\" Sirius said while smirking. After Sirius said that Harry\'s eyes got really wide and he started blushing, looking away from Sirius.

\"Sirius!\" Remus heard what he said. While Sirius was walking towards the door, Remus tried to hit him in the head but he ducked. When Sirius opened the door he turned to look at a blushing Harry and a glaring Remus.

\"Payback\'s a bitch.\" Harry glared at him but he could see Harry\'s lip twitching a bit at the corner. Remus was still glaring and Sirius knew that he wouldn\'t get away from him easily. So he ducked his head and exited the room. Remus walked over to Harry while shaking his head.

\"He\'s right. About the first part I mean. We will always be there for you. If not all of us, at least one of us will be. Now get some rest. Tomorrow is going to be a big day and I don\'t think you\'re parents will leave you alone.\" He hugged Harry and exited the room. Harry sat at the vanity looking into the mirror. \'I am the prince of Gryffindor. I get to meet my parents. And those three will still be here, I think.\' He gave a little smile at his reflection. \'But I won\'t see Draco. If I\'m not there, will he still want to see me? What if he doesn\'t want me? What if he doesn\'t love me?\' Harry\'s eyes starting tearing up but he fought them back down. He stood up and started walking around the room. \'No. I will not give up. When I am alone with my betrothed, I\'ll tell him I have to go somewhere but I\'ll be back later. Then I\'ll go and meet Draco. Maybe we could elope. But I do want to stay with my parents. Maybe they\'d understand.\' He leaned against a wall after he thought that and then he fell backwards.

\"Ouch!\" When he fell, he hit the back of his head on the floor, loosing his crown somewhere. He looked around and noticed he was in a short hallway with stairs leading up. \'Apparently there is a secret passage. That\'s interesting. Maybe I could go exploring someday to see if I find anymore.\' He stood up and then noticed that there seemed to be a light at the end of the stairs. Curiosity got the better of him so he slowly walked up the stairs, trying to make no noise. When he got close to the slightly open door at the end he heard a \'whirring\' sound, like something spinning. He opened the door a bit more and noticed that it was some sort of circular room. \'Must be one of the towers.\' There was a bed, a nightstand, a few windows, and a washstand. He looked in the direction where the sound was coming from and saw someone, poorly dressed, sitting on something that had a wheel attached. \'Must be a servant.\' He walked in the room and the young man, from what he could tell, either didn\'t notice him or was to busy to care. He walked forward to see what the other man was doing.

\"What are you doing?\" The man slowed, than stopped the wheel.

\"I am spinning. Would you like to try?\" Harry looked at it and saw something shine on it. He had on odd urge to touch it. He reached out his hand but held it about an inch away from whatever the shiny thing was.

\"Go ahead. Touch it. It\'s not like anything bad is going to happen.\" The servant boy said and after the boy said that the urge became stronger.




\"Has anyone seen Draco?\"


\"No dear.\" Narcissa wanted to speak to her son after dinner so he wouldn\'t do anything stupid when he met his betrothed but she couldn\'t find him anywhere.

\"Your Highness?\" One of the stable boys approached Narcissa while not making eye contact.

\"What?!\" The stable boy flinched.

\"Prince Draco left right after dinner with a horse. I don\'t know where he was heading.\" He bowed and literally ran away. Lucius heard what the stable boy said and knew where Draco was going. Not the location but the person. \'You better be home by tomorrow son.\'




Draco felt happier every second he got deeper into the forest and closer to the cabin. He had to leave after nightfall because it would be harder to find him. And he knew that his mother would be looking for him to talk to him about meeting his betrothed tomorrow after dinner. But he didn\'t care. After a few minutes, he came to the clearing with the cabin in it. There weren\'t any lights on but it was kind of late. He got off his horse and tied it up in sight of the cabin. He grabbed a black box that had a pendant inside of the Slytherin crest that he was suppose to give to his betrothed. But he wanted to give it to the one he loved. He went up to the door and knocked on it.

\"Come in.\" Someone said quietly from the other side of the door. Draco was to eager to see Harry that he let his defenses drop. So when he entered the cabin, he was ambushed by people in black cloaks and white masks. One held him down and tied his hands behind his back while two others hauled him onto his knees. He looked up into crimson irises. The man with the crimson eyes lifted his head up to look at him more closely.

\"I come here looking for three fairies and the Gryffindor prince. And instead I get the Slytherin prince. What are you doing here boy?\" Tom sneered down at Draco. He wasn\'t expecting this but maybe he could use this to his advantage. Obviously the boy came here to see someone.

\"Who the hell are you?\" Draco seemed calm, angry, but calm on the outside. But on the inside he was frantic. \'Where\'s Harry? What does he mean three fairies and prince of Gryffindor? I don\'t care! If he\'s harmed one hair on Harry\'s head he is a dead man.\' Tom took the hand that was holding Draco\'s face up and slapped him.

\"That is no way to speak to your elders boy. And do not answer a question with a question.\" Tom looked at one of the men holding Draco down and nodded. That man then hit Drco hard in the back of the head rendering him unconscious.




\"I feel odd leaving him alone.\"


\"Why? He just need\'s his rest.\" Tonks seemed to be a bit anxious and she didn\'t know why. She really wanted to go stay with Harry. Maybe because the threat is still there. It was almost midnight and she knew once after midnight the curse will fade. But there was still time for Tom to do something.

\"That does it. I\'m just going to check on him.\" Sirius just sighed and Remus kept reading his book. Tonks walked across the hall and saw some light in Harry\'s room. She opened the door and peaked through and then opened the door all the way.

\"SIRIUS! REMUS!\" Tonks screamed that so loud she might have woken the whole kingdom but she could care less. When Sirius and Remus heard her scream for them they dropped whatever they were doing and practically flew through their door to Harry\'s room. They saw the back of Tonks rush in an opening that suddenly appeared. They caught up to Tonks and when they came to the door they burst through that. They saw the back of someone but couldn\'t tell who it was until he spoke.

\"Hello fairies.\" They all inhaled when the figure turned around.

\"Riddle! Where\'s Harry?\" Sirius was trembling, trying not to leap at him and throttle him. Tonks was trembling with fear for Harry and Remus was trying to stay calm.

\"Dear sweet Harry is right here.\" He stepped to the side and they saw Harry lying on his side with a drop of blood on his pointer finger, with a spinning wheel at his feet. Tom started to laugh.

\"BASTARD!\" Sirius screamed at him, drawing out his wand. But before he could attack Tom, he disappeared in a flash, with his horrible laugh reverberating off the walls of the tower. Tonks ran over to Harry, dropping his crown that she picked up at the bottom of the stairs, and held him, while a few tears escaped. Remus was standing with his head down and his bangs covering his eyes, while Sirius was taking out his rage on the walls.

\"We should have stayed with him.\" Remus said quietly.

\"We should have but we didn\'t. We didn\'t! We should have seen this coming. We were prepared for anything. But we got to confident. DAMNIT!\" Sirius punched the wall again, his fist bloody.

\"SHUT UP!!!\" Remus and Sirius looked at Tonks.

\"You speak like he\'s dead. He is not. Hope isn\'t lost. He\'s just sleeping. We just have to find someone worthy enough to wake him up.\" She was still holding Harry.

\"We have to find the one he fell in love with.\" Remus said going over to Tonks and lifting Harry in his arms. He placed Harry on the bed that was in the room, summoned Harry\'s crown, and put that on the stand next to the bed. Sirius summoned some bandages and wrapped his knuckles up.

\"How do we do that?\" Sirius asked.

\"We go back to the cabin. Harry was adamant about going to the cabin tomorrow. So apparently they were going to meet there.\" Remus looked at Harry one last time and headed towards the door. Tonks kissed Harry\'s head again and followed Remus out. Sirius walked over to Harry and looked at him.

\"Don\'t worry Harry. We\'ll find your lover.\" He walked out the door and sealed it so that only ones with good intentions and love for Harry could enter. He went down to join the others and they all walked down to the main hall of the palace. They saw some servants sleeping on the floor and the guards sleeping against the walls. While passing the kitchen they saw James sleeping with his face in a slice of cake.

\"I will never forget that.\" Sirius said. None of them could keep a straight face, so they all burst out laughing. They finally made it to the front gate and when they looked out they saw very thick vines, covered in thorns, surrounding the village and palace.

\"Who put the briar patch in?\" Sirius looked at the other two.

\"Wasn\'t me.\" Said Tonks. Remus looked at Tonks and Sirius contemplating.

\"Riddle.\" All three said at the same time.

\"But why?\" Tonks asked.

\"He wants to keep someone out.\" Sirius said. Tonks nodded but then furrowed her brow.

\"How are we getting out?\" Sirius looked at Remus with an exasperated look. Remus just smiled softly at Tonks.

\"We\'re are going to apparate out of the palace directly to the cabin, well near the cabin since there are anti-apparition wards.\" Tonks blinked then smiled goofily.

\"So we\'re going to go \'poof\'?\" Sirius looked like he wanted to hurt her and was about to when Tonks disappeared with a \'pop.\'

\"I am going to hurt her!\" With that, Sirius also disappeared with a \'pop.\' Remus shook his head, looked at the tower where Harry was, and also disappeared with a \'pop.\' When Remus arrived he had to duck quickly because of a hex coming towards him from Tonks and Sirius dueling.

\"You think you two could do that later?\" Remus said loud enough for them to hear.

\"Aye, Aye Captain.\" Tonks said while saluting and putting her wand away. Sirius just pocketed his wand and messed up Tonks\' hair. Then they all started walking towards the cabin, which wasn\'t that far, with Remus in between Sirius and Tonks. When they saw the door open they all ducked out of sight. Tonks then started crawling towards the door and leaned against the wall next to the door. She peeked in and didn\'t see or hear anything. She then brandished her wand and lit all the candles in the cabin. When no one came out she signaled for the other two that it was all right. They all went in with there wands at the ready anyway. All of them split up and looked in all the rooms.

\"Nothing\'s missing.\" Sirius said.

\"No. It looks like there was a struggle though.\" Remus said.

\"So someone else was here and then someone else kidnapped that someone?\" Tonks said looking confused.

\"Looks that way. But who could have come here?\" Sirius asked while sitting down heavily on the couch.

\"I think it was Riddle.\" Said Remus. The other two looked at him.

\"Why?\" They asked at the same time.

\"Because he is strong enough to find this place without someone telling him and some of the wards have been broached by magic, powerful magic. Apparently he must have kidnapped someone who came here.\" Remus said while pacing.

\"But why kidnap that person. He was probably looking for Harry and us. Wouldn\'t he have just killed that person?\" Tonks asked.

\"Yes but maybe he thought that person knew where we were. So Riddle is trying to get information.\" Remus stopped pacing, noticing the light catch something under one of the chairs and picked the item up.

\"Guys. I just had a thought. Only more powerful then us combined people can see this cabin or people told about this place. Remus only said that the wards were tripped for one person. The only person who was told where the cabin was is Harry\'s love.\" After saying that Sirius\'s eyes got wide. Remus just looked down at something in his hand and looked at Tonks and Sirius with really wide eyes.

\"I think I know who Harry is in love with.\" Remus said quietly.

\"Who?\" Tonks asked cautiously. Remus went over to them and showed them the contents of the black box he found. Tonks inhaled sharply and Sirius scowled. They were looking at the Slytherin pendant that Draco was going to give to Harry.

\"I guess that\'s convenient. He is already in love with his betrothed.\" Tonks said starting to smile.

\"Yes convenient. But why\'d he have to fall for a Slytherin.\" Sirius said slightly glaring at the pendant like it had something to do with all the evil happenings.

\"Last I heard was that someone had their eye on Lucius\' chief advisor who happens to also be a Slytherin.\" Tonks said in a sing - song matter of fact way looking pointedly at Sirius. Sirius slightly blushed and looked like he was seriously going to hurt her.

\"Yes. We should check in on Severus, when we have the chance. Now we have two princes to save.\" Tonks nodded her head with a goofy smile on her face while Sirius was pouting at them being unfair and ganging up on him.
