I Need Help

*

A/N: I was told my ending sucked, for lack of a better term, and I decided to re-write it. By the by, this chapter is not the ending anymore...

The sun god. Apollo was the sun god. According to Mythology, Apollo was the favorite son of Zeus, not surprising. He was also a fierce competitor. Harry stared at the letter, now scrunched in his fist. That was definitely Malfoy. The name was completely fitting. He sank onto his couch, deep in thought and shock.

It was Malfoy? Harry reread the letter, searching for something more, anything to tell him how to react, what to do. Was he really sorry? Harry was extremely confused. \'What the hell am I supposed to do now?\' Harry thought, desperately.

He had never fully understood his feelings for Malfoy in the first place, and now here he was, apologizing and saying he wanted more. That was two things Harry had never imagined he would ever hear in his entire life.

He didn\'t get it! Malfoy sneered at him everyday! He was never nice, especially in school. Harry thought back to the letters. Malfoy had said he\'d felt pressured. Harry remembered meeting Lucius Malfoy for the first time in Flourish and Blotts and what an awful presence he\'d been.

Harry could think of nothing to do He wasn\'t about to do anything stupid. He\'d spent way too much time paying for his irrational actions in the past. Harry sat on his couch and stared blankly at the television screen. He needed help. Who could he ask who would understand...?

He sat in thoughtful silence before it hit him like a freight train out of control. He smacked a hand to his forhead for it taking him so long to realize. He walked over to his fireplace and reached into a little decorative bowl on the mantle.

He took out some green powder and, after lighting the fire with his wand, scattered the powder into the flames.

\"Hermione!\" He called. \"I need to talk to you!\" The powder swirled and died. Harry sat back down on his couch, waiting. A minute later there was a loud POP and Hermione appeared in his living room, a curious expression on her face.

\"What is it, Harry?\" She asked with concern. Harry motioned for her to sit down, which she did, sort of reluctantly.

\"Do you remember how I was writing to some unknown person?\" Harry asked her and she nodded slowly. \"Well, I\'ve just found out who it was.\"

\"Really?\" Hermione asked in astonishment.

\"Yeah, it was Draco Malfoy,\" Harry told her, waiting for her reaction.

She didn\'t appear shocked, but nor did she seem like she expected this. Her expression turned shrewed and she looked unseeingly at the picture on the wall.

\"What?\" Harry asked, unsure. She was silent for a few more minutes before she finally looked at Harry, her expression still calculating.

\"Are you sure that this isn\'t a trick?\" She asked. Harry stared at her incredulously.

\"You\'ve been hanging out with Ron too much.\" Harry stated. Hermione scoffed at him.

\"No, I just don\'t quite trust his reasons,\" She replied scathingly. Harry immediately fired up, something he was not supposed to do, as per his auror training.

\"What, you don\'t think he really likes me!?\" Harry exclaimed indignantly. Hermione rolled her eyes.

\"Of course he does, that\'s not what I meant.\" Harry was taken aback.

\"Wait! You knew!?\" Hermione shook her head at him. When would he learn that she was a lot more observant than he thought.

\"Harry,\" She sighed exasperatedly, \"for an auror, you have a real problem discerning between real feelings and fronts.\" Harry scowled at her.

\"I do not!\" He exclaimed. Hermione sighed.

\"Don\'t fight it, Harry, it\'s more trouble than it\'s worth.\" Harry frowned and wrinkled his nose in distaste. \"So, what are you going to do?\" She asked pressingly.

Harry immediately went from fired up to quiet desperation.

\"I don\'t know,\" he whined, \"Why do you think I called you?\" He asked crossly, since she hadn\'t helped in the least since she\'d arrived.

\"Don\'t you get snotty with me, Harry James Potter.\" Hermione\'s eyes flashed dangerously. Harry knew better than to enrage Hermione and quickly tried to reverse the damage.

\"Okay, okay, I\'m sorry. I just don\'t know what to do.\" Hermione huffed but her eyes softened.

\"Well, I don\'t know why you\'re asking me.\" Harry stared at her, knowing exactly what she was about to say. \"Go talk to Draco.\"

\"Are you mad!? What would I say? \'Hi, Draco, I\'m secretly in love with you even though you put me through hell when we were in school but I still want to shag you senseless,\' I can\'t do that!\"

\"Well you have to do something, and sitting here complaining to me won\'t make it any better!\" Hermione gave him a hard look. \"What happened to the Harry who said \'fuck it\' and did whatever the hell he wanted? Where is your Gryffindor courage? You weren\'t put there for no reason. Stop being a wuss and tell Draco what you want!\"

Hermione stood up and promptly vanished from the living room. Harry stared at the spot she disappeared from with unmasked dislike. She was right, of course, but that didn\'t make it anybetter. In fact, that made it worse. She was always right!

Harry sighed, knowing exactly what he had to do. He went to his closet and grabbed his leather jacket. He dissappeard in a flash and found himself at the end of a sweet country lane. In front of him was a modest house. It seemed very well taken care of, and not the place he\'d ever imagined Draco living.

He walked slowly to the front door, his heart beating a mile a minute. He raised a hand slowly and knocked three times on the large wooden door.
