zak, my sexy little geisha: TSS does rock!! You\'ll have to keep an eye out for my stories in their up coming contest so you can vote for me! LOL You can\'t even begin to fathom how much I love nipple rings on a guy! *faints* I\'ve thought about getting one of my nipples pierced...=D I\'m glad you\'re enjoying the story, hon.

Blackrose: THere will be romance and mind blowing sex, but we\'ve got to convince Snape that he\'s really in love first. LOL! He will resist in true Snape-ish fashion.

Memdrake: Harry\'s not tripping out because he has total faith that he\'ll eventually be freed. Besides that, he has no responsibility and he likes that. LOL!! You\'ll also see a bit more of his odd behavior in this chapter, but I promise, it will all be explained!!

CC: I try to watch the americanisms, and sometimes they get through. *shrugs* I know that I totally should get a beta, but I hate having to find one, knowing that most are writers like myself with stories of their own. I really, really try to watch the idiomatic speech and what Snape says. Of all the characters I write, I do my best to phrase his speech like it should be. It all goes back to the beta thing, I suppose. As far as the duality thing. I could see where a reader could assume it\'s Remus, but he makes no bones about the fact that he\'s a werewolf whereas Snape truely leads a double life. No one really knows much about him. It was also the other characteristics that made it him, though, especially guilt, duality, and adaptability. Hey, thanks for the constructive critism!! It always helps. If you happen to find this story again, leave an email addy, and I\'ll put you on my list!!

She’d solved that puzzle, but even armed with the knowledge that Snape was Duncan’s father did nothing to assist her in the quest to wake Harry.

It was two days later, while reading her book from the library that it hit her. Hermione could barely contain her excitement as she stepped into the kitchen at Grimmauld Place. No one was in there but Remus. She sat down next to the werewolf and grinned triumphantly. He raised an eyebrow at her. “You know something,” he stated simply.

She shook her head in agreement. “Actually, I know a few something’s, but I want to ask you about something, first. I’ve been reading this book about chakra’s and working with them. I know it’s a muggle book, but could it also be relevant to witches and wizards?”

He took the book and scanned over the first few pages. He turned to Hermione and smiled. “What muggles call chakra’s, wizards call their magical core, so yes, it’s very relevant.”

Hermione squealed with delight, grabbed Remus, and kissed his cheek. “I think I may have figured it out,” she said to the blushing werewolf. “I’ve got to go back to the library and see what else I can find on this. Do you think there’s anything about it upstairs in the Black library?”

Hermione bound upstairs and almost ran over Ron. He followed her into the library where she began to scan the books. Ron stopped her and asked her what she was doing. Her only response was, “Getting our best friend back.”

It was two hours later when Hermione was comparing the information in her library book to the one from the Black family library. Both said virtually the same thing. The color orange was associated with the sacral chakra and ‘lower’ magic such as herbology and potions. The color pink was associated with the heart chakra and the exact mid-point in a wizard’s magical core. Pink also corresponded with ‘middle’ magic such as arthrimancy. Indigo corresponded with the third-eye chakra and ‘higher’ magic such as charms and transfiguration.

She ran downstairs and into the kitchen where Dumbledore, Remus (who blushed again), and Professor Snape were sitting. She stopped just inside the door and Ron almost ran over her. “I’ve almost figured it out!” She squealed.

She threw the parchment on the table with a flourish and a self-satisfied smile. “You know something else, don’t you?” Dumbledore asked.

Hermione giggled. “I do professor. I believe that I’ve discovered the identity of Duncan’s other father.”

All four men in the room gaped at her. “You do?” Ron asked. “Who?”

She scowled at her boyfriend. “Ronald! If you can’t figure it out, then you’ll just have to have Harry or the other father tell you. It’s not my place.”

Then, she grinned cheekily at the adults in the room. Hermione grabbed Ron’s hand and practically skipped from the room singing, ‘We’re getting our best friend back!’ over and over.

The three wizards in the kitchen read the parchment and Remus almost choked on the lemon drop he’d taken from Albus earlier. He ran his fingers along the lines about the color orange and looked at Snape with a kind smile. “I know who the lucky bloke is, now. Congratulations.”

Severus growled and left the room. “We’ll have Harry back in the next two days, Remus,” said Albus, whose eyes were twinkling merrily.

The dark haired wizard practically stomped through the corridors of Hogwarts as he made his way into the infirmary. In less than a minute, he was inside Harry’s mind and being invited into his sanctuary.

“Who figured it out?” Harry asked with a smirk.

“Who do you think?” Snape growled.

With a grin, Harry answered, “Hermione.”

Snape shook his head and then answered, “Your pet werewolf also knows because she insisted on leaving a parchment lying around comparing some muggle…something to a wizard’s magical core.”

“Remus knows, too? Brilliant!”

“Yes, it’s absolutely bloody brilliant,” the tall man replied sarcastically.

“Ok, so what do we have to do to get me back out in the land of the living?” Harry asked excitedly.

Severus scowled. “We still do not know how to get you out, Potter.”

Duncan watched the exchange and grinned at his dad and father. He tugged on Severus’ robe and the dark wizard looked down. The little boy’s eyes were shining brightly as he looked between the men. Harry crouched down and looked his son in the eye. “How Duncan?” He asked.

Taking both men by the hand, Duncan led them to the door. “We have to go out there,” he said, still smiling.

The men looked at each other and then at the little boy. “Why?” Harry asked.

Rolling his eyes, Duncan answered, “Dad you have the power the Dark Lord knows not, now.”

Harry and Severus looked at each other and were puzzled. “Okay?” Harry replied unsure. “What is it?”

The little boy grimaced in a manner much like his father and pulled them nearer the door. “True, unconditional love, dad. You had father, when you destroyed His body, and now you both have me to destroy His mind, forever.”

“I suppose that you knew this the whole time, didn’t you?” Severus asked, obviously put out.

With a shake of his head, their son answered, “I did, but you had to figure it out yourselves. Now, c’mon, we have to hurry. I don’t want to have to leave you behind when I’m born, Dad.”

Duncan opened the door and took Harry’s hand again, leading both men from the sanctuary. They stood in the dark for a moment before a high pitched scream could be heard. The child held tight to both men’s hands and yelled to the top of his little boy lungs, “Evil can not live where love resides! Be gone!”

Severus distinctly heard his own name screamed in agony as Voldemort was banished forever. He opened his eyes to find himself sitting in the chair next to Harry’s bed. The young man beside him was blinking his eyes, trying to focus them after being in disuse for so long.

“Poppy!” Severus called, startling Harry, who jumped almost out of his bed.

The young man then looked at his former teacher and beamed up at him. “Sev,” he whispered in relief.

Severus grabbed a goblet and poured some water in it for the young man, helping him drink. Poppy walked in on the scene and tears welled up in her eyes. “Harry,” she said as her voice hitched.

He pushed the goblet from his lips and said, voice rough from disuse, “Madame Pomfrey.”

She quickly scanned him for any signs of physical distress and seeing none, she hugged him. “We thought we’d never get you back, Harry.”

The green eyed young man rubbed his slightly swollen belly. “We might not have, were it not for Duncan. The sly little monster knew the whole time and wouldn’t tell us. Said we had to figure it out for ourselves. He’ll definitely do well in the house of the serpents,” Harry said, looking at Severus with a shy smile.

“I’ll floo to Grimmauld Place and inform the headmaster. I’m sure that the whole of the Weasley clan and Miss Granger will insist upon seeing Mr. Potter immediately,” Severus drawled indifferently as he rose from his chair.

“Madame Pomfrey, when will I be able to leave?”

“It will be at least a couple of weeks, Harry. You have to pick up quite a bit of weight and regain your strength.
