Forbidden

Chapter 4

Ron and Harry decided to have a game of exploding snap while stuffing themselves with sweets. Ginny said she was going to stretch her legs. She secretly wanted to take another look at that arch-nemesis Draco Malfoy; she decided if she could find him, she might be able to snap herself out of it. It was a long shot, but she felt she had to. She could not love him; she would be betraying her family. It did not take her too long to find him; he was strolling down the corridor, alone. She wondered at this, he usually had those thugs near him. He was, in her eyes, a paragon of all that was beautiful, milky-white skin that was flawless, those intense blue eyes and that golden hair.

"Oh, what do you want, Weasley?" He said in a bored voice.

"Taking a walk, not against the law is it?" Why did she like him, he was so rude. They stood for a moment, unmoving.

"I was going in there, red, do you mind getting out of my way?"

"I was going in there too, I wanted to be alone for a bit." She thought maybe they could talk.

"Well, there are no other free compartments, so I guess we can share it, if you're silent and don't tell anyone."

She moved in and sat down. She noticed that they both were staring out of the window; he did seem in deep thought. She had never seen him pensive like this before. He suddenly got up and crossed the compartment, Ginny thought he was leaving, but he simply drew the curtains, so no-one could see in.
