-Chapter Three-

Harry decided he didn't like the blonde boy very much. In the last twenty-four hours, he'd been insulted, yelled at, and sneered at more times than he had in all his twenty years of life. Gently he massaged his temples as he laid in his dark room. That boy was a damn handful. Why had he let himself get involved in this...involved with a Wizard Boss!? He didn't understand it himself. 'I'll be guarding that little Pratt until I die!' The thought should have pissed him off, in a way it did. But he couldn't blame the younger male for being the way he was. Hell...if his mother had just died (and she had, as well as his father, he was just to young to remember or feel real remorse), he would have been acting the same way.

Sighing he pulled himself up and out of bed. Today, he had to take the Pratt (as he now affectionately called him) to Diagon Ally to buy his school supplies, and the like. Slowly he stumbled over to his armor and pulled out a tee shirt and jeans, some that fit him better than most. He pulled on the faded blue jeans and the black tee shirt over his toned body before he pulled on some trainers and socks. He didn't even bother brushing his hair, it wouldn't help. After placing his glasses on his face, he walked out of his room and into the almost blindingly bright room.

He rubbed his eyes under his glasses, then opened his green eyes to look around for the blonde boy. His eyes eventually rested on the large four poster bed. In the middle of the black sheets laid a very pale body twisted in the sheets. Harry smiled a bit, the kid looked so innocent when he was asleep...it was to bad he was a little shit while awake.

Slowly he walked over to the large bed and tilted his head to the side a bit. In the back of his mind, he was telling himself it was weird to watch the young man sleep. But he couldn't help it. If he'd never met the boy before, he'd almost have said he looked like an angel. To bad he'd met him yesterday.

Harry was drawn out of his musings when he heard a soft whimper. Blinking slowly he leaned forward and noticed the brat was hugging his pillow and curled up around it, whimpering softly and almost looking as if he would cry at any moment. He couldn't imagine what would cause the boy such discomfort. Slowly, he moved over to Draco (he had to climb on the bed to reach the young man) and slowly shook him. "Hey...Draco...wake up...it's just a dream." He reached forward and ran a hand through the other male's soft platinum blonde hair, sushing the boy softly as he tried to calm him.

Slowly, gray eyes fluttered open. His eyes were unfocused at first, and he could feel a soft hand running through his hair. It was just like his mother used to do when he'd have a nightmare. He turned into the comfort, sighing softly. Slowly he woke his awareness heightening.

His mother was dead.

Who was running their hand through his hair then?

Slowly he opened his eyes again, a frown gracing his pointed features. "Mnn..." He groaned softly, a frown on his face as he rubbed his eyes, looking up into the tanned face of...Harry Potter, his baby sitter. "What are you doing?!" With that indignant shout, he sat up and pushed the other male away, glaring at him. "Well?! Answer me!"

Harry was a bit shocked when he was pushed away, and it showed on his face. Frowning, he righted himself the best he could on the large bed. "I was just trying to wake you up! You were whimpering and whining in your sleep like a little baby." He mentally winced when he saw the horrified look on the blonde's face. Obviously he had said the -wrong- thing.

Draco stood, well, tried too. He ended up falling off the bed with a thud before he stood, hair disheveled as he clenched his fists and pointed an elegant finger at Potter. "Get out of my room!"

Harry blinked before sighing and standing as well, crossing his arms and looked down at the boy who stood across the bed from him. "My room is through a door that is connected to your room. I am your body guard, I doubt anything will change that any time soon." He said softly, trying to calm the obviously (very) temperamental blonde.

Draco shook his head, and pointed at Harry's bedroom door. "Then go in there! I don't want to look at your ugly four-eyed, scarred-up face!" So, it wasn't his most articulate insult, he figured he got his point across though when he saw the other's face darken considerably...and he had to fight not to shudder, half in fear and half in...awe? The only person he'd ever known to give a look like that was his father. He repressed the feelings though and raised his chin defiantly. "Go." His voice had dropped ever so slightly, and he had almost snarled the single word.

"Fine." Harry ground out between clenched teeth. He began to walk towards his rooms’ door. "Hurry and get dressed so we can go to Diagon Ally...I want to get your crap then get back, I have a letter to write." He opened his bedroom door and slammed it, causing the portrait of the Malfoy family to rattle a bit before settling.

Draco's cheeks were tinted a soft pink as he stared off into space for a moment. Slowly he calmed his shaking body relaxed before he began to mechanically get ready. He took a shower, as he did every morning. He washed his hair with his coconut scented shampoo, and used his berry scented body wash. He always enjoyed smelling as if he'd just come from the tropics. He sighed softly as he ran a soft wash cloth over his chest. He'd enjoyed the 'family' vacation they'd taken in Hawaii. They'd all come back tanned, and his parents smelled strongly of pina colatas. That was a big reason why he enjoyed the smell of coconuts so much...his mother had always had pina colatas when they were at parties.

He shook himself out of his reminiscing...and wiped his face free of tears...he swore when he got soap in his eyes. "Fucking...son of a..." He dropped the cloth and wiped viciously at his eyes as he tried to get the soap out of them. After he accomplished that great feat, he climbed out of the shower and dried himself. Normally, he'd have his morning wank...but after his mum died he just didn't feel all that...excitable.

He sifted through his closet, thinking slowly of what he'd want to wear to go shopping. He like to look intimidating...that was for sure. He pulled out a pair of tight leather pants, ones he either had to wear a thong with or go commando in they were so tight. He decided to go with the thong that day. He slipped on the dark blue undergarment before pulling on his pants, wiggling a bit in the tight material...they were definitely his favorite pants. He pulled dark green, sbuttbutton up short sleeve. He ran his hands over the tight fitting material, smiling a little bit before he pulled on his mid-shin high dragon leather boots.

He turned to the door that lead to Potter's room and scowled. "Potter! Come on!" The door opening rewarded him and there stood Potter, with a shocked look on his face. Draco smirked, crossing his arms and tilting his head to the side a bit, silk like hair framing his pale face. "Are you going to stare at me all day or are we going school shopping?" He asked lightly, then turned and sauntered away, opening his bedroom doors and glancing over his shoulder at the still motionless Potter. "Let's go, I have things I want to get done!" With that, the blonde boy turned and began walking towards the floo room.

Harry was defiantly shocked at Draco's...err...style. He figured the boy would dress in robes like his father, conservative and...well...conservative. And when he walked out seeing the young Malfoy in -tight- leather pants and a -tight- silk shirt, well...he'd been a bit shocked. As he walked behind the sixteen year old (and he had to constantly remind himself the boy was only sixteen) he couldn't help but stare at his (perfect) ass. And he didn't see any panty lines. 'Wonder if he goes commando...' Instantly, Harry slapped himself for that thought, and looked at the back of the blonde's head. Damn that kid for being so cute!

When the two males reached, what Draco had called, the floo room, Harry was once more a bit shocked. The room was basically one fireplace after another. Both walked forward and took handfuls of floo powder. Draco went first. Stepping forward he threw the floo in the fire place and shouted: "The Leaky Cauldron!" And in a burst of green flames he was gone.

Harry sighed and stepped forward as well, muttering about how much he hated flooing. He did the same and in a burst of green flames he felt the world spin, and locked his elbows to his sides before he was thrown out of the fire place...and at the feet of one Draco Malfoy.

Blinking, he slowly looked up to see the frowning face of his charge. "Er..." He was spared an explanation as Draco rolled his eyes and turned to walk away. Quickly, Harry stood and followed after the boy. He hated flooing...and for good reasons! He pulled out his wand and tapped the bricks, and sighed a bit as the bricks moved, forming the arch that lead to Diagon Ally. Both stepped through and began walking.

Draco looking at his school list before thrusting it at Harry. "I don't want to be here all day." He said, voice drawling as he walked through the street as if he owned it. And he, being the son of Lucius Malfoy, probably did own at least part of it. Draco smirked as he spotted a few people openly gawking at him...they always seemed so shocked when he made a personal appearance. But they would probably be even more shocked since it was only about a week after his mother had been murdered.

He scowled at that thought, ignoring Potter's question as he continued walking, only to feel a large hand on his shoulder. Quickly he looked up, blinking in surprise. "We need to stop here for your books." Harry said softly, guiding the younger male into Florish and Blotts.

Draco stopped in his tracks, a cruel smirk forming on his lips as he spotted two of his...classmates. Hencednced at his guard, and dismissed the idea of it being a bad idea to taunt them. It wasn't Potter's business who he played with. "Oh look," He drawled, noticing the three backs tense as he walked closer, Potter close behind him. "If it isn't the Weasel, Weaselette, and Mudblood!"

Harry was a little surprised at hearing the maliciousness in Draco's voice. He knew the boy was a prat, knew it from the moment he laid eyes on him...but so far he hadn't heard such a tone from the boy. He watched as two girls and a boy turned to glare at his charge. The boy was very tall...probably almost six feet, and was also lanky with red hair and lots of freckles. One of the girls also had bright red hair and lots of freckles, he assumed that was the boy's sister. The other girl browbrown hair that was very bushy, she also had slightly bucked teeth. Obviously they went to school with Draco.

"Mafloy." The one word was said with such malice, Harry ended up blinking in surprise. He looked down, since he was a bit taller than the boy he was to guard, and gave Draco a questioning look. He was either ignored, or the blonde didn't see. He looked back at the three, sliding one of his hands into his back pocket where he kept his wand.

"What're you doing here Weasel?" Draco drawled, looking the three up and down, a look of disgust and distain on his pale face. "Trying to buy books? Don't have anymore hand-me-downs?" He asked in mock concern before smirking. The boy with red hair began to flush almost as bright as his hair, clenching his freckled fists tightly while the girls glared at him. Oh how he loved to rile them up!

"Sod off Malfoy!" The boy shouted taking a threatening step forward, only to have a pale brow raised. Draco knew that he wouldn't get hurt...not with Potter as a body guard.

"Oh Ron," Draco said, pouting slightly, "you wound me. I just came to talk with three of my closest admirers. Though," He said, looking down at his finger nails as he picked at an invisible piece of dirt. "I can't blame you. I'd admire me too...in fact...I do admire me." He looked back up, smirk firmly on his face. All three flushed in anger, and the girl with bushy hair stuck her nose up in the air.

"Why would we admire you? Your father is a Wizard Boss, and Bosses are horrible, horrible people!" She held some books close to her chest, as if they'd protect her. "He'll get caught one day, then you'll be out on the street! Just as you should be your ungrateful...ungrateful-"

Draco rolled his eyes, and Harry fought not to find amusement in the situation. Lucius Malfoy get caught? He doubted they'd ever be able to pin something on the pale Boss...he was to smooth and slippery. Draco looked up at Harry, and raised a brow. Mentally he sighed, why did he take this job again? He cleared his throat and stepped forward a bit, gaining three shocked faces. The girls instantly recognized him, and the boy, Ron, soon recognized him as well.

"You're...you're Harry Potter! I read about you in Witch Weekly!" The girl with red hair squeaked, right before she blushed. Harry couldn't help but smile ever so slightly at the blushing girls.

"I am Harry Potter. But Draco and I must be going." He began reached out and was about to take Draco's arm before the blonde latched onto it and smiled flirtatiously, causing the green eyed man to blush.

"Yes, me and Harry have -lots- to do. Don't we, love?" Draco batted his eyelashes sweetly before looking over at the three gaping teens, a smirk still on his face. "Come on...let's get my books and go. I'm feeling ill all around this...bad blood."

He wrinkled his nose for effect before leading away the stunned body guard to a book shelf far from the three other teens.

'Wow' Harry thought, 'Never saw that coming...'
