Chapter Four

A couple seconds later, Sirius had made up his mind.  He slowly leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against James'.  

James was surprised to say the least, but he replied immediately.  

Sirius finally broke the kiss, mainly because of the need for air.  He stared at his best friend with a slight smile forming on his face.  "That was supposed to let you know that I feel the same way about you, James."

"guregured as much," James replied.  "I just can't believe that you actually-"

Sirius leaned forward again and passionately kissed his best friend.  When the kiss had ended, Sirius placed a finger over James' lips and spoke softly.  "Don't even think about finishing that sentence, James Potter.  How could you possibly think that I wouldn't feel the same way?"

James wrapped his hand around Sirius' finger and carefully removed it from his lips.  "I just thought you'd be offended and disgusted."

"Impossible," Sirius replied.  "I've been ive wve with you for several years now, James.  I just haven't had the courage to say anything to you.  I figured you'd-"

"See there?  You thought I wouldn't want to be with you, and I think that's just plain impossible."

Sirius grinned.  "I do love you, James.  As so much more than a best friend.  And I'm very glad that you at least had the courage to say something to me."

James wrapped his arms tightly around Sirius and brought hiss tos to his best friends'.

"Well, I would ask how everything went, but I think I can see the answer to the question just by looking," Remus remarked with a wink as Sirius and James entered the common room, holding hands.

"Thank you, Remus," James said as he led Sirius over to the sofa.  The two sat down and snuggled up close to each other.  James started fiddling with Sirius' hair while Sirius rested his head on James' shoulder.

Remus smiled at his friends.  "Honestly, James, I didn't do anything to help you earlier."  He turned his attention to Sirius.  "You should have seem him fussing over where to go and what to wear and-"

"He looks damn sexy in my opinion," Sirius interrupted.  He ran his hand along James' thigh and admired the toned leg hiding underneath old worn-out jeans.

Remus just rolled his eyes and continued to work on his homework.

Hours later, James awoke to find himself laying down on the couch in the Gryffindor common room with Sirius sound asleep on top of him.  James gently combed through Sirius' hair with his fingers and admired the beautiful man before him.  Sirius was complete perfection in so many ways, and James couldn't help but feel completely y aty at the thought that he and Sirius were now together as so much more than simply best friends.  

"Hmph."

"Siri?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you awake?" James asked softly.  "Do you want to go to bed?"

Sirius lifted his head and studied his best friend for several moments.  "Yours or mine?"

"Doesn't matter," James replied.

"Yours," Sirius said with a yawn.  "But we're just sleeping."

James nodded in agreement as he looked at the time.  Little did he know that Sirius had another reason for only wanting to sleep.

The two slowly made their way up the stairs and wearily climbed onto James' soft, plush bed.  Sirius was the first to fall asleep with his head resting on James' chest, and his hand on top of James' stomach.  James quickly joined Sirius and neither awoke until the following morning.

The next few s pas passed with James and Sirius spending as much time together as they possibly could.  It was obvious to the staff and students at Hogwarts that the two hottest men there were taken and completely obsessed with each other.  

Things were completely perfect until one Saturday night when Sirius and James were lying in bed talking softly to each other.  The two had spent many nights talking, cuddling, and kissing, but never once had they made love or even come close.  

When a moment of silence settled upon them, James shifted his position and climbed on top of his boyfriend.  He tenderly kissed Sirius' lips, and Sirius wrapped his arms around James' body as the kiss deepened.  

James' hands slowly found their way under Sirius' tight shirt, and he started caressing Sirius' chest.  Sirius groaned and pulled James closer to him, their tongues still battling fiercely.  

Whilechinching his breath, James quictoretore off his boyfriend's shirt and started working on Sirius' gorgeous chest.  Sirius moaned quietly when he felt James' hot tongue licking Sirius' tender nipples.

Everything seemed to be going perfectly.

Until one of James' hands made its way to Sirius' cock.  

Sirius screamed aumpeumped out of the bed.  James just watched in confusion as the man he loved more than anyone ran off down the hallway…

Ouch!  Angst enters the plot!  What should James do?

A) Give Sirius time to cool off and then search for his boyfriend.

B) Talk to Remus and see what Moony thinks James should do.

C) Wait for Sirius to come to him and explain.

D) Write Sirius an owl asking what's going on.

E) Run after Sirius and figure out what's going on.
