Chapter 4

Author’s note: I have taken a liking to the Remus/Severus ship and may rekindle it. I just don’t know yet. I also have a big surprise in store for future chapters. Please review!

Severus walked back into the classroom scanning it quickly until he let his eyes rest on Draco, who was patting Harry’s hand lovingly and telling him everything would be okay. Severus sighed and took his place at the front of the class.

“Today we will be learning how to concoct the Confusion potion. Its effects are very similar to those of the Confundus charm so precision has to be used. I expect it to be made by next week. Today you will be preparing ingredients,” Professor Snape said, flicking his wand so the instructions would be written up on the board.

“Get to work!”

An hour later after everyone had successfully manage to prepare their potions, Severus called Harry and Draco into his office for a private conversation.

They walked in holding hands. Draco looked awkward but Harry looked cold and determined. He started off right when the door shut.

“Listen, you are not going to tell as to break up! I don’t…” Harry started but was interrupted by Severus.

“Please, Potter, will you shut your mouth and listen,” he said. “I am not instingting you to ‘break up’. I am telling you both that you had better be bloody serious about this or you may hurt each other. You may leave now.”

“But…” Draco started.

“You may leave!”

Both boys got up and looked at each other before shrugging and exiting his office. When they left they saw that the class was staring at them. Harry sighed and dragged Draco out of the classroom after taking their bags.

“Well,” Harry said confused. “That was odd. I am surprised he didn’t tell me to just die or something.”

“Hmm…” Draco responded.

“What is it?” Harry asked, pulling Draco closer to him. Harry loved his lover’s smell.

“Well… didn’t he seem like he was hiding something?” Draco asked thoughtfully.

“I don’t know, I guess. Remus!” Harry said, exclaiming the last point.

“What?” Draco asked bewildered.

“I just saw him walk into that classroom. He’s, oh come on!” Harry said, pulling Draco along to where he thought he saw his ‘adopted’ godfather.

“What the hell…?” Draco mumbled but still walked along with Harry. “The werewolf?”

“Yes,” Harry answered preoccupied. He entered the room, and forgetting he was holding Draco’s hand, ran up to Remus and gave him a huge hug, only stopping when he heard a moan coming from the floor.

“Oh sorry Draco,” Harry said. Draco had fallen, unaware that Harry was going to run full speed to Remus.

“Er, hi Harry,” Remus said awkwardly. He was coming to see Professor Dumbledore and apparently didn’t know that Harry and Draco were together. “W-what’s going on here?”

“Oh, you know Draco,” Harry said moving aside so Remus could look at a flushed Draco.

“Er, hello?” Draco offered.

“Hello,” Remus said and took Draco’s hand and shook it. “Harry, I never knew.”

“Yes, well, it happened. Why are you here?” Harry asked but was ignored because in through the door was Severus Snape, glancing at Remus, asking the same question.

“Hello Remus,” Severus said and by the look on Remus’ face Harry and Draco could easily guess why Snape was so awkward earlier
