****Okay, thanks again for all the reviews, I have to say this is my favorite story I\'ve written so far...so, here\'s another chapter!

“They should be here in a few minutes.” Harry said, glancing at a clock on the wall. “What do you want to be doing?”

“I was thinking sitting close to you with my arm draped over your shoulder. That should make Weasley puke at least.” Draco moved and sat next to Harry. Harry had taken off his robe, setting it down on a chair beside him complaining that it was too hot. The Gryffindor had some style, wearing tight jeans, and a black sweater that fit his lean frame well.

Putting his arm around Harry, Draco scooted over, bringing his head down to Harry’s level. They were so close Draco could feel the Gryffindor’s breath on his cheek. Why did his head suddenly feel kind of light? And why was his heart beating so erratically? And what was that intoxicating smell coming from Harry? That dull sweet, salty smell that reminded Draco of the ocean. “Are you wearing cologne?”

Startled, Harry turned, his face centimeters from Draco’s. “Um no.”

“Oh.” Draco couldn’t turn his head away. It was as if his body was working on it’s own free will. When did Harry become so cute? And why was he thinking these things? This wasn’t like the Malfoy he was supposed to be. He felt giddy and young. It had to be something from lunch. He had to have eaten something wrong. He tried to remember what he had eaten, but nothing he ate could have effected him to do what he did next.

As if in slow motion, Draco leaned forward, pressing his lips tentatively against Harry’s. Part of his rational mind screamed, but was drowned out by the overwhelming need to pull Harry closer. At first Harry didn’t move from the surprise of it all, but soon he was kissing Draco back shyly.

“Harry!? What are you doing?!”

Hermione’s screeching broke the boys apart. Harry was looking into Draco’s silver eyes, surprised, flushing deep red. That wasn’t supposed to happen yet, and it wasn’t supposed to feel that nice. Draco put his fingers to his lips, trying to recapture the warmth of Harry’s mouth. He could hear Hermione screech, but he wasn’t quite sure what she was saying.

It wasn’t until Ron forcibly pulled Draco away from Harry that he realized what was going on. Yanking away from Ron’s grasp, he turned. “What do you think you’re doing Weasley?”

“Don’t you dare touch him! Don’t you dare! You don’t have the right to even breathe the same air as he does!” Ron was beat red. Furious.

Harry jumped up, ready to defend Draco, but Draco stopped him. “I’ll see you later.” Draco brushed a bit of hair out of Harry’s eyes and took one last look into the confused emerald green.

Walking away, he could hear Harry explode, “what in the hell do you think you’re doing!? How could you say that to him?!”

He’s a good actor, Draco mused, trying to repress the feeling’s of butterflies in his stomach. What in the world had gotten in to him? And why did it feel so nice to kiss Harry? Why did he want to do it again? He wasn’t gay. Well…maybe bi, but not gay. And not attracted to Harry bloody Potter! No, it had to have been something he ate.

“Draco? Are you okay?” Severus’ voice startled Draco. He hadn’t realized he had walked downstairs to his god-father’s office. Talk about a sub-conscious effort. Severus was standing in front of him, carefully watching his god-son’s face. Something was bothering the Slytherin deeply.

“Can I come in and talk to you?” Draco asked, his voice weaker than he wanted it to be.

“Of course.” Severus ushered him in. “What’s going on Draco? Does this have to do with you and Potter?”

“I just…I just kissed Harry.” Draco blurted. His face reddened brightly. “I mean, it was this joke, and then he was there, and he smelled so good, and I kissed him, but I shouldn’t because I’m not worthy, and Ron wanted to hurt me, and Hermione just kept screeching in that voice of hers and-”

“Woah! Draco slow down.” Severus grabbed his god-son’s hands. “Start from the beginning.”

Taking a deep breath, Draco told the story. How Harry was pissed at Hermione because she thought Draco could seduce him. How they concocted the prank to teach Hermione and Ron a lesson. How Draco had kissed Harry when he hadn’t really meant to.

“Are you gay?” Severus asked, sitting back in his chair, his mind reeling from the information.

“I thought I probably was since girls don’t interest all that much. But I’ve never been attracted to a boy before! Then suddenly I start noticing how tall Harry is. And how soft his skin looks. And how his eyes turn dark whenever he’s passionate about something. How his lips form words. How-”

“You can stop now,” interrupted Severus.

“Sorry. It’s just, he’s not all that bad. And I like his friendship. But…”

“But now you might want more?”

“It was supposed to be a joke.” Draco said, his shoulders slumping. “Harry isn’t gay. It won’t ever work.”

“Are you sure about that?” Severus asked, sitting up. “I’ve never known you to give up before you got something.” He was still trying to digest the news without shuddering. His god son had feelings for Potter, eck. “Use this…joke…to your advantage Draco.”

“You mean seduce him?”

Severus couldn‘t hide his look of distaste. Draco smirked. “Not in so many words, but yes.”

“Yeah…yeah. I can do that.”

“But I tell you now Draco, if something goes wrong, I’ll poison him faster than you can blink.” Severus smiled at the Slytherin. Standing, he hugged Draco.

“Thanks. I’m glad you were here.”

“If you need anymore help, you can come to me. I’m not saying I want to hear all about Potter, but…I’ll listen.”

Smirking, Draco stood back. “I better get back to our rooms. We were supposed to finish up the star chart we started for Divination.”

Harry was waiting for Draco when he made it back to their room. He still looked angry from earlier. “I’m sorry about what Ron said,” he said, staring up at the Slytherin.

“Don’t be.” Draco waved off Harry’s comment and tried a smirk. He was successful. “I bet they really had a cow huh?”

“I don’t think they were expecting us to be kissing. I,” he paused, “I didn’t expect for us to be kissing.”

Sitting on his bed, Draco shrugged, “I didn’t want to tell you so it would look more real.”

“Oh.” Was that a flicker of disappointment in Harry’s eyes? No, it had to be Draco’s imagination. “Well it worked. Hermione and Ron both had a seizure.”

“Imagine that.” Carefully Draco stood and sat on Harry’s bed. “We should really finish our project.”

“Yeah, we should.”

“We should.” Draco repeated. He looked over at the nervous Gryffindor and smirked. “Afraid I’m going to molest you?”

“Wha? No. I was just thinking.”

“About what?”

“Nothing.” Harry grabbed his book and pulled out their chart. “I mean, I was thinking about the next step in our prank.”

Arching an eyebrow, Draco tried to keep down the rush of excitement. “What next part?”

“Well since they’ve already seen us kissing, we should have the big bang, you know? Set them up so they walk in on us about to make out, remember?”

“Of course. Maybe if we didn’t show up for breakfast they would come looking?”

“Yeah, yeah.” Was Harry turning more and more scarlet? Draco was sure he was seeing things. “So tomorrow morning we should get things ready and have them walk in on us. Then I’ll tell them it was all a joke.” Harry
said with some finality. Was he trying to convince Draco or himself?

“Right. Tomorrow morning.”

“Tomorrow morning. But we have to finish this first.”

Draco nodded, desperate to concentrate on their homework. “Right. We need to finish this.”

****

That morning Draco woke before the sun ever came up. He was tossing and turning. He couldn’t get Harry out of his mind. Every time he drifted off to sleep, he would remember that Harry was just a few feet away. That would spark more thoughts of his lips. His eyes. The way he smiled. The way he laughed. The smart assed comments that made everything between them so much more interesting.

Morning was approaching way too slowly. Draco knew, if he was going to get Harry he’d have to do it today. He’d have to make the Gryffindor realize that Draco no longer wanted to pretend. He wanted Harry as his.

In the other bed, Harry rolled around almost as restlessly as Draco felt. Finally he groaned and sat up. Draco closed his eyes and tried to appear asleep. Harry scratched his head, yawning. “Draco, wake up. We gotta start getting ready.”

Yawning, Draco sat up and looked at the ruffled Gryffindor. A smile lit his face, his silver eyes sparkling. Was it possible for Harry to look any cuter than he did right then? The emerald eyes smiled back at Draco, as if knowing what he was thinking.

“You have your name on our chart right?” Harry asked standing. He began rummaging through his trunk, looking for clean clothes.

“Yeah.” Draco got up, grabbing jeans carelessly laying on the floor. He stripped down to his boxers, and pulled his jeans on. Looking up, he was sure he had caught Harry staring at him. The Gryffindor’s eyes darted away, going back to his own clothes.

When both boys were dressed, Draco looked out the window. “It’s getting late. We should have been at breakfast a few minutes ago. Do you think they’ll check the library first?”

“Knowing Hermione, she will.” Harry sat on Draco’s bed, watching the Slytherin with interest. There was a nervous tension in the room. Draco turned back to Harry.

Taking a deep breath, he knew he’d have to sit next to Harry if he were ever going to make a move. Biting his lip, he sat down tentatively. “How long do you think they’ll take?”

“A few minute? Fifteen at most?” Harry was fidgeting with his robes. Why was Harry nervous? It was Draco who should be. “We should probably, you know…um…get closer, just in case.”

“Yeah, just in case.” Draco scooted closer, his arm brushing against Harry. A shock ran through Draco. He glanced over at Harry to see if he felt anything.

“Closer.” Harry said, meeting Draco’s eyes. Draco moved, his thighs brushing against the Gryffindor’s.

Unable to resist, Draco’s fingers reached out, brushing away stray hair from Harry’s eyes. “Nothing should cover up something so beautiful.” Oh god…had he just said that? Yes, he had! Draco wanted to run, but found his legs no longer obeyed him. None of his body did. Leaning forward, Draco couldn’t stop himself.

Harry’s lips were as warm and soft as Draco remembered. Instead of surprised, Harry seemed eager, kissing back almost feverishly. Draco’s arm snaked around Harry’s body, running up his back, through his hair. The kiss was no longer shy, it was full of desire Draco never knew was inside of him. Curiously Draco slid his tongue across Harry’s bottom lip, drawing it between his teeth. Harry moaned pleasurably, giving Draco the chance to explore the sweet recesses of Harry’s mouth.

Falling back against Draco’s bed, Harry somehow ended up slightly above the Slytherin. He was pressing against Draco, running his hands along his chest. Over his thighs. Draco groaned, tilting his head back as Harry trailed searing kisses down Draco’s neck.

Gasping, Draco pulled Harry back into another passionate kiss. “No more pretending.” Draco muttered, his tongue dancing over Harry’s soft skin. Down his jaw. Nipping at his earlobe.

“Oh my god! Get away from him!”

One moment Harry was there, the next he was gone. Draco opened his eyes, half in disappointment, half in surprise. Hermione had a hold of Harry. Ron was glaring at Draco as if he could kill him there on the spot. “What the hell are you doing bursting into our room?!” Draco yelled sitting up.

“Saving Harry from the likes of you!” Hermione spat.

Yanking away from her grasp, Harry scoffed. “I don’t bloody need saving Hermione! This was all just a prank to teach you a lesson!”

The words not only surprised Ron and Hermione, they were a sharp blow to Draco as well. So it was all just a joke. Everything that had just happened, just an act. Sitting up, Draco put on a cool smirk. “Harry’s a pretty good actor, aren’t you Potter?”

Looking over at Draco, his eyes were pleading. “I’m not that good. I mean,” he started.

“Well you had us fooled!” Hermione screeched.

Looking away, Draco grabbed a few books. “Had a lot of us fooled,” he murmured. He wanted to just disappear from the room. Of course Harry didn’t like him like that. What did Draco think? Harry could have his pick from the entire school. Draco just wasn’t on his list.

“Well I hope you had a good laugh at our expense Harry. Sometimes you’re so immature. I mean,”

Draco tuned the rest of her words out. He pushed past Ron, who was still glowering at him. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned. “Wait, we can go down to breakfast together.”
hrughrugging off Harry’s hand, Draco shook his head. “Your friends want you.”

“But,” Harry started, but didn’t finish. Draco didn’t see the hurt look in Harry’s eyes as he walked off.

Draco didn’t bother going to his first two classes. He couldn’t stand to see Harry right now. He had to regroup. Get out of his head that he ever had any feelings for Harry Potter. It was just circumstances. The moment. He got carried away with the acting.

No matter what he told himself, he couldn’t stop feeling Harry’s lips. His hands. He couldn’t stop seeing the Gryffindor’s smile. He couldn’t stop hearing the teasing tone to his voice as they studied together. They would still be friends, but Draco had to push all the feelings for Harry away.

At least he knew he had a heart, despite what people said. Because for the first time ever it had been broken.

The Great hall was alive once more at lunch. Draco found the special 7th year table. He wasn’t very hungry but he had to eat sometime.

~You know everything that I’m afraid of, and you do everything I wish I did~

That song again? Which stupid muggle-born was singing it this time? He decided to ignore it and grabbed a piece of chicken.

~Everybody wants you, and everybody loves you, I know I should tell you how I feel. I wish everyone would disappear~ The singing was louder now. As if trying to draw attention. Draco looked up finally.

Harry was standing on the table next to Draco. He jumped down, landing next to a very speechless Draco, ~I’ve got a crush on you, I hope you feel the way that I do, I get a rush when I’m with you, I got a crush on you.~

“What are you doing Potter,” Draco asked. Harry pulled Draco up from his seat. Everyone in the Great Hall was staring at the two. There wasn’t a noise in the whole place. Draco didn’t even hear breathing.

“I’m singing to you, dolt.”

“I can tell that. But why?”

“Because, I’ve got a crush on you.” Harry’s emerald eyes darkened. A smile lifted his lips, and Draco felt his stomach drop.

“But in the room. You said,”

“Sometimes I do things without thinking…like this.” Harry motioned to the hundreds of students watching them with great interest.

Draco smirked, wrapping his arms around Harry‘s neck. “You’re a stupid git.”

“Shut up Malfoy.” Harry’s arms slid around Draco’s middle bringing him closer.

“Harry don’t!” Hermione’s voice screeched across the hall. Everyone turned to her. This was the most entertaining show they had ever seen.

Rolling his eyes, Harry couldn’t suppress the aggravated groan. “Sod off Hermione.” He looked back at Draco, smirking once more. “I’m trying to make out with my boyfriend.”

Slowly, ignoring everyone around them, Harry lowered his lips to Draco’s. Somewhere deep in Draco’s mind, he heard a small chuckle. Guess it wasn’t such a bad song after all.

***Okay, so Harry singing to Draco is a little OOC, but you know what? I would do it, so Harry will do it. If anyone wants me to go on with this, just give me the reviews!!! I need fans, now!
