Remus Lupin\'s Diary

As Remus ventured back to the hopital wing he thought about what he had just said, \"what am I

going to do now?\" He sat down next to the wall, wanting desperatly to get out of this school, away

from the world, \"Remus?\" asked a shy hesitant voice behind him. He jerked his head

up, \"Yes?\" \"Are you alright?\" she asked, concern filled her chocolate brown eyes. \"Yes Hermione I\'m

quite fine.\" She came and sat down next to him, \"Then why are you sitting here by yourself instead

of playing pranks with your best friends?\" she asked caringly. Remus turned to her, anger filled his

soft gray tinted blue eyes, \"What do you care?\" he asked roughly. The angry Gryffindor stood up

and began to walk away, \"Remus J. Lupin! You get over here right now!\" she said in a voice he

heard only his mother used, \"What?\" \"Now I\'m not sure what happend but the only reason i asked

was because I care for you and want to understand you. I want to make sure that you are happy in

you life. No matter what the cost.\" Remus only scoffed, He had heard that from so many girls he

lost count and around the time they discovered his dirty little secret they\'d up and left him. As

Hermione watched her favorite professor stare at the wall somthing flickered in his eyes, was it

sadness or regret? She didn\'t care anymore about himng ang a werewolf the only thing that she saw

was Remus Lupin the person standing right in front of her. The man who would help Harry, Ron,

Sirius, and the Order of the Phoneix in the worst of their times. She ran over to him and placed a

hand on his shoulder, \"I\'ll always be here for you no matter what.\" she whispered into his ear.

Remus felt a shiver go up his spine when she said that to him. Unlike the others he felt that he

could acually trust her words, that what she said or did was for him and his needs. He turned to see

a very beautiful women with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face, \"Come on lazy lets head

back to the common room before the prefects find us.\" Remus chuckled and pointed to his

badge, \"I think that you\'re already in trouble Ms. Granger but i\'ll let this one slip by...this time.\" he

said putting on his prefect\'s voice and smiling at her. Hermione laughed, \"Sorry MR. Lupin, It won\'t

happend again.\" \"I should hope not, Now off you go to the common room.\" Hermione rolled her

eyes and began to walk back to the common room When out of the blue someone came and

knocked her into the wall. She fought hard and tried to scream for Remus but someone was choking

her so hard she couldn\'t breath. Two black dots started to form in front of her eyes and she began

to loose consciousness. As she felt her body hit the floor she was two pale blue eyes staring down at

her with intense hatred, \"You won\'t mess this up for me Mudblood! Never.\" He then let go of her

and took off, Leaving Hermione scared, despereate and confused, Remus came around the corner

and saw her leaning against the wall, eyes as huge as orbs, \"Re-mus\" she gasped for breath, He

ran toward her and scooped her up into his arms, it was then he saw the nail marks on her

neck. \"By God...What happened?\"
