New Gryffindor Vs. Old Slytheryn

Chapter 3
Summer vacation was finally at Hogwart’s. There was only a few people still there, including the “golden trio” plus one. The four Gryffindors were walking down the Charms corridor when they bumped into the least likable person there.
“Got a new Gryffindor did we? Probably another goodie-two-shoes. If you hang out with Potter you are.” He sneered.
“Watch out Malfoy. Can’t lose house points during summer. I always thought of getting a ferret for a pet.” Hermione said.
Draco blanched and turned to walk away. “Wait, please.” Xana said. “Just because he says rude things, doesn’t mean that we should stoop to his level. Now, what’s your first name?”
“Draco.”
“Draco. Well I’ll see you later.” She then got close to his ear. “Owl me later with date and time and we’ll talk.”
Draco watched her walk away. ‘No I won’t owl her’ he said to himself. ‘but she was awful nice to me.’ ‘but she’s a Gryffindor.’ ‘So, none of the other slytheryns are here.’ ‘Okay, I will.’
Draco went up to his dormitory and grabbed some parchment and his quill.
New girl,
Sorry but I don’t know your name. Tonight,
Ten o’clock in the first classroom off the Charms
Corridor. Just be careful of Filtch.
-Draco
He went down to the Owlery and chose a school owl to deliver it. Draco tied the note to it’s leg and asked it to stay for a response and come back to the Owlery.
“I’ll come back here for the response. Do not bring it to my house table.”
And he turned and left.

~At lunchtime~
Xana got the note as she was sitting next to Hermione in the Great Hall.
“Who’s the note from Xana?”
“Oh, no one Hermione.”
Xana, read the note and quickly and indescretly scratched out a response.
Draco,
Okay. I’ll meet you there. Hermione almost
saw the note. I think she knows.
-Xana
P.S. I think she likes you. I catch her looking
your way.
Xana tied the response back on the owl and watched it fly away.
“I need to go to the Library for a book. I’ll see you guys later.” She said as she got up and left the Great Hall.
Harry, Hermione and Ron watched her walk away. Harry with a dreamy look in his eyes.
