Chapter 4
Well the day passed quite quickly and without any problems, although I wasn’t with it for part of the day because I was curious to know what was going on.
“Hey Reina” Crystal shouted as she ran up to me “where you going?”
“Oh I was going to visit Remus again, do you want to come? It won’t be for long but I am sure he would appreciate the company”
I tried not to laugh as the smile on her face spread “sure” she replied.
We headed up to the hospital wing with light chatter on the way; Crystal was great for gossip on girls at school. But she was also brilliant for keeping secrets. Although there was one secret of mine that I had never told her about, Remus and his problems with the full moon.
“You’re back again Miss Lupin, oh hello Miss Veth”
“Err, yes is it ok to sit here for 10 minutes? We promise we will not be longer than that. After all dinner is in 10 minutes”
“Oh typical think with your stomach” Remus called
“Takes one to know one!” Crystal called back.
Smiling “Sure girls, just won’t wear him out” Madam Pomfrey winked before heading into her office and closing the doors.
“You are late” He stated
“Sorry, you know us girls. Always late”
Ignoring me “Hello Crystal, how are you doing”
Smiling like a Cheshire cat “Oh I am fine Rem, just worried about you”
“Oh just wounds from battle, I shall live though”
Strange how close to the truth that statement was.
Some minutes passed with those two talking and me being ignored, boy did I feel like the 5th wheel.
Crystal noticed this “errm I need to get something from the dorm before dinner, I’ll meet you outside the hall in 5 mins ok Rein?”
“Sure” I said smiling.
Crystal hurried out of the hospital wing leaving me and him alone.
He took one look at me “You want to know what I was talking about earlier don’t you?”
“Yes, what is going on Remus?”
“Reina, do you trust me?”
“Yes”
“Have I ever let anything happen to you? Ok I have been mean in the past but so have you”
“I know you would never let anything bad happen to me”
“Then please trust me, I will tell you but I need to knock their heads together. Just trust me when I say nothing good will come from them being nice to you”.
“Ok I believe you, and will stay away from them”
“Thank you”
I could see in his eyes he was trying to hide his concern but being twins we could always sense each others emotion especially since he became a werewolf.
“Ok Miss Lupin, I must ask you to leave the sun is setting soon and we need to move your brother”
“Ok”
I stood up as did he, moving forward he hugged me. Something he hadn’t done in a long time.
“Remember what I said. No good will come from them” he kissed me on my forehead and I left the hospital wing passing Dumbledore on the way.
“Good evening Miss Lupin”
“Professor”
I quickly headed downstairs to meet Crystal.
“Sorry about upstairs” she said
“Don’t worry about it. I am just glad you and him get on so well” I said winking at her. She giggled.
“Shall we go in Rein?”
Smiling I opened the door and we walked in to the hall.
“Hey Reina” Crystal shouted as she ran up to me “where you going?”
