A Lesson in Love

Ok... chapter four! Short I know but I was tired when i wrote this... mmm... aren`t we all just sooooo jealous of Rubia, ladies? Who wouldn`t want to wake up next to someone who looks like that mmmm (ok, am obsessed with Alan Rickman as well as our Sev... but seeing as the lovely Mr Rickman is taken (bloody lucky woman!) i`ll have Sev instead, lol!)

Chapter 4 - The Serpent Tamed

Severus stroked Rubia`s soft hair as she cuddled against him, fascinated at how natural it seemes, the way that she curled up and leaned into his arms. Severus couldn`t help but compare her to a tiger, beautiful, majestic and blessed with a kind of feline grace. Neither of them spoke, but just lay there, holding each other until they were fast asleep.


When Rubia woke the next morning it took her a few moments to remember whose big strong arms she was lying in, but she recalled the events of the previous night and snuggled back into Severus` embrace. They lay facing each other, Severus` arms wrapped posessively around Rubia and their legs intertwined. As Severus slept, Rubia played with his shoulder length, silky, black hair, watching the strands trickle through her fingers. He stirred in his sleep, pulling her a little closer to him.


Suddenly he started to chuckle, a rich, deep sound coming from deep within his throat, making Rubia feel all warm and tingly. So he wasn`t asleep at all, the rascal!


\"Good morning, Sev,\" she purred softly before kissing him.


\"Mmm,\" came the reply, the low rumble seeming to reverberate through the whole bed. Rubia sighed contentedly as she settled back into Severus` embrace. Severus opened his eyes and gazed into hers. They were hazy from sleep, and their normal sparkling brilliance had been replaced with a soft sheen, but to Severus, this only made them more beautiful. He shifted slightly, trying to see the clock in the darkness.


\"What time is it, Rubi?\" he asked as he pushed her hair out of her face.


\"Mmm?\" she yawned sleepily before turning to the clock on the table next to the bed, \"oh, six forty.\" She rolled back into his arms and began to kiss him, her hands running over his chest and shoulders. severus laughed and caught her hands.


\"If you don`t stop that we`ll never get out of bed!\" he laughed at her. He kissed her one last time before swinging his long legs out of bed. He stretched and rubbed his chest absent mindedly. He looked over his shoulder at her, curled up under the covers, gazing up at him. He stood up and stretched again, feeling her eyes all over his naked body.


\"Are you going to tease me all day or are you going to have a shower?\" He heard her say from behind him. He turned round with a mischevious look on his face.


\"As a matter of fact, my dear, I was planning on spending the whole day naked, if that`s alright by you!\" She smiled at the scarcasm lacing his voice. She got out of bed herself and walked round to where her handsome lover stood. She stood on tiptoe to kiss him before saying,


\"I can just see the students` faces as Severus Snape, feared potions master of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, walks into class wearing nothing but a scowl...\" she dissolved into a fit of giggles, her head against his chest.


\"Hmmm, get your point,\" he said. \"I`m off for a shower.\"


Rubia stopped giggling just long enough to nod and then fell backwards onto the bed, her body shaking with laughter. Severus rolled his eyes and went into the bathroom.


As the bathroom door closed, Rubia recovered from her giggling fit and recovered her wand from the pile of robes on the floor. With a quick flick of her wrist the bed made its self. She scooped up a fleece robe from the floor, charcoal grey like most of her casual clothes, and pulled it on. She seperated Severus` clothes from hers and muttered a cleaning spell. Leaving his robes, jacket, shirt, trousers and boxers lying neatly folded on the bed, she began to collect her own clothes, dumping them into the magical laundry chute by the wardrobe and disposing of her ripped shirt. She laughed to herself... dom domestic!


Severus opened the bathroom door to the smell of coffee. Mmm! She had ordered breakfast! Good! He didn`t much feel like eating in the great hall today. He saw that she`d cleaned and folded his clothes and he smiled as he bent down to kiss her cheek as thanks.


Five minutes later, Severus joined Rubia on the sofa. He had pulled on his shirt and trousers, leaving his jacket and robes on the bed. They ate quietly together, hot buttered toast and fresh coffee, simple but good. As Severus finished his breakfast, Rubia grabbed a quick shower, dressed and did her makeup.


When Severus had sent the remains of breakfast back down to the kitchens he turned to look at Rubia and gasped. She looked stunning. She was wearing a long black skirt that clung to her hips, a fitted black jacket that was cut to a \"v\" at the bottom, high heeled shoes and her long black robes. Her hair hung down her back again and swung about as she moved. Severus walked over to her and kissed her lightly on the forehead.


\"Wow!\" he muttered, \"You look lovelier this morning than ever before!\"


\"Thankyou.\" she smiled.


\"I was meaning to thank you,\" he said, pushing his hair back to show her that he was wearing her gift. Her smile widened.


\"And I have something for you in return,\" he said, putting his hand into his trouser pocket and pulling out a thin silver chain with an elaborate silver pendant set with a gorgeous green stone. He kissed her as he fastened it around her neck, admiring how good the silver looked against the black of her robes and how the stone made the green of her eyes stand out more. He stood back to admire the finished effect

\"Very Slytherin.\" he said with a smile. Rubia giggled.


\"Actually, when I was at school I was a Gryffindor!\" Rubia sniggered at the look Severus gave her.


\"A Gryffindor!?!\" he cried out, with a look of mock disgust on his face. Rubia giggled and nodded.


\"Well Miss Barker!\" he snapped in a joking impression of his classroom self, \"I think you should serve detention as a punishment for your behaviour last night! Very un-Gryffindor of you!!\" Rubia hung her head and made a big show of looking very sorry for herself.


\"Miss Barker, you will report to my rooms at eight p.m. sharp, do you hear me?\"


Rubia sashayed up to him and put her arms around his neck.


\"Anything you say... Professor.\" she said seductively, and melted in his arms.
