Not What They Seem

Hi everyone! Here’s the next chapter. Hope you enjoy.

This chapter was beta'd by gardengirlgarden and Narcissa Black. Thank you both so much!

Not What They Seem

Snape entered Kitty from behind, slamming his engorged cock into her wet depths while she continued her oral stimulation of Lucius Malfoy. Kitty moaned and purred as Snape drove into her and her breasts jiggled with each thrust. Lucius placed his hands on her tempting mounds and pinched her sensitive nipples.

The three watching teens were becoming increasingly aroused. Hermione and Draco’s lips crashed together in desperate need. Harry felt his own temperature rising but he couldn’t resist one last barb at his most hated professor. “How does it feel to have people watching you, Snape?” Harry was referring to the time that Snape had secretly watched them have sex during detention and he wondered if his words even registered with the randy man. Snape barely spared him a glance as he continued fucking Kitty, grabbing at her hips and slamming into her rear.

Harry stood up and walked over to the chair where Draco and Hermione were snogging. He bent down and joined their kiss. Then he said, “Let’s go fuck.” They nodded breathlessly at him and began to get up.

Hermione looked at Snape and Lucius and said, “One more thing.” Snape slowed his motions for a moment as he realized they were about to leave the room. Lucius was getting close to orgasm and both men looked at Hermione with flushed expressions as she address them. “You may play with Kitty,” she told them. “But you must not harm her or force her to do things she doesn’t want. Also, I expect you to be unselfish and make sure that Kitty has her pleasure too. Kitty must have no less than three orgasms. Is that clear?”

Snape nodded and continued his thrusting while Lucius croaked out, “Yes, my Lady.” Kitty smiled at Hermione in gratitude before she went back to Lucius’ cock.

When Hermione turned around, she noticed that Harry and Draco had already stepped out of the parlor. She left and saw them at the bottom of the grand staircase. Harry sat on the third step with his pants down while Draco knelt on the floor between his legs, using his skillful mouth to get Harry off. Hermione approached them with a grin, slipping off her own knickers on the way.

“Harry,” she said, “how did you get Professor Snape to comply so easily? I didn’t take him for a man easily swayed by sex.”

Harry leaned his head back on a stair behind him and smiled, “I had Bugger put a bit of lust powder on the rim of his teacup.”

Draco lifted his head a moment and laughed. Then he attacked Harry’s cock with more zeal, wanting to get him to the point where he could no longer speak.

“Fuck,” Harry groaned. He glanced at Hermione who had her fingers under her skirt as she watched them and he said, “Come sit on my face.”

Hermione climbed up the stairs to his head and straddled his face, her knees on the stairs. She leaned forward and braced herself on the stairs above Harry as she felt his hot mouth cover her aching center, licking and probing her, making her moan as she bit down on one of her knuckles. She could feel Harry’s hot release of breath as he came in Draco’s mouth and Harry moaned onto her clit, making her groan in pleasure.

Then Draco climbed the stairs and slid his trousers off. He sat on the stair at Hermione’s face level, his cock hard with need. She leaned onto him and began running her tongue along his hard shaft. She covered him with her hot mouth and moaned as Harry began inserting his fingers into her, pumping out her wetness with his hand as he flicked and sucked on her sensitive bud. When she came, Harry stood and moved further up the stairs. He straddled Draco’s face and shoved his cock into the moaning blonde’s mouth.

Up the stairs they gradually went, leap-frogging each other after each orgasm until they could take no more and lay panting at the top of the stairs. “Fuck, I love you both. Never leave me,” Draco said breathlessly.

“We won’t,” Hermione panted. “We’re together forever.”

Harry nodded and said, “Forever.”

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

At lunch, Lucius and Snape sat on one side of the table across from Draco. Harry sat at one end and Hermione at the other. Snape seemed to be rubbing at his temples a lot as if trying to rid himself of a headache and Harry grinned at Draco and Hermione.

“Kitty looks completely sated, Professor,” Hermione stated.

Snape glanced at her in a disgruntled way wondering whatever possessed him to give his blood to Potter and then proceed to fuck a woman in front of a room full of people.

Draco tried to hold his laughter in, he really did, but the expression on Snape’s face was priceless and he just couldn’t seem to stop himself. Harry and Hermione soon joined in and even Lucius couldn’t help a half smirk from forming on his mouth.

“That’s enough!” Snape grouched.

Hermione dried her tears of mirth and said, “I’m sorry, Professor. But don’t worry. Whatever happens at Marlston will stay at Marlston.”

“Let’s hope that’s true,” Snape glared.

“Oh come now, Professor,” Draco said. “You can’t tell me that you didn’t enjoy it?”

“That is beside the point!” Snape answered crisply. “I don’t believe in flaunting sex in front of others.”

“But you don’t mind watching others though,” Harry observed.

Snape studied Harry’s face and said, “So we’re even now, Potter.”

“Oh I don’t know,” Harry replied. “You had seven days of watching. I think we need six more to make it even.”

Snape’s eyes widened dangerously. “You wouldn’t dare.”

“Wouldn’t I?” Harry smiled.

“Can we please discuss something important?” Snape growled. “I didn’t come here for your entertainment, Potter. Besides going on your blood lust rampage, what else have you discovered here? Dumbledore did ask you three to search Marlston, did he not?”

“Yes,” Hermione answered. “We…,” she stopped mid-sentence as she noticed the warning look on Harry’s face.

“We found nothing,” Harry interjected, “just a library full of dark magic books.”

This peaked Lucius’ curiosity and he asked, “Mind if I have a look at your library after lunch, my Lady?”

“Not at all, Mr. Malfoy, be my guest.”

Snape was carefully looking at Harry, however, knowing that the boy was not telling him something. “Just a library?” Snape asked in a disbelieving voice. “Have you not been in any of the ritual rooms? I’ve been here before, Potter.”

“Yes, we’ve seen them,” Harry said. “Not much there, however, except for snakes.” Harry casually ate his lunch, trying to block his mind from Snape’s probing glare.

“What did you do the last time you were here, Professor? Did you know my parents well?” Hermione asked.

Snape turned his head away from Harry and focused on Hermione’s innocent question. She was not as skilled as Potter was in blocking her thoughts. He could see images in her mind of portraits, many portraits, hanging in a great hall. This hall was one he had not seen the last time he was here. But perhaps he did. Memories had been taken from him when he had last left this place. Suddenly a sharp pain pounded through his skull and he shut his eyes and scrunched his face.

“Professor?” Hermione said in concern.

The pain lessened and he let out a breath. ‘So these ‘beings’ protect her thoughts as well,’ he thought. He’d have to be more careful with his methods of information gathering. Obviously they were not telling him things and he suspected it was because Potter did not trust him.

He looked at Hermione again and said, “I did not know your parents very well. I was only a novice, so to speak, at the time. Sebastian and Morgana Marlston were very secretive people. They did not let many into their inner circle. But I can tell you they were very powerful. Lord Voldemort resided here with them for a time.” He looked at their expressions and noticed that no one seemed surprised at this news. It confirmed his thoughts that they did know much more than they were letting on.

“So is that why you came here?” Hermione persisted. “Voldemort brought you here?”

“At that time,” Snape replied, “new Death Eaters were initiated here. This is where many of us received our Dark Marks.”

“Do you know how my parents died?” Hermione asked.

“I heard they were ambushed during the war,” Snape said. “I don’t know by whom.”

Hermione looked at Lucius in question.

“I do not know either, my Lady,” Lucius said. “I only know that Voldemort was extremely angry at the time and no one dared to ask him why.”

“Did he stay alone at Marlston after that?” Hermione asked Snape.

“One cannot stay at Marlston without a Marlston present,” Snape replied. “The house would no longer allow him entry and you, the last remaining Marlston, were nowhere to be found.”

“Dumbledore made sure Hermione wouldn’t be found,” Harry said as he began to fit the pieces together in his mind. “He knew it would keep Voldemort away from Marlston.”

“Yes,” Snape said. “I’m sure that fueled the Dark Lord’s anger even more. In any case, I think we should focus on the present. I’ve come to help you discover the power source Dumbledore mentioned. I suggest we begin doing so after lunch. The sooner we find it, the sooner we can return to Hogwarts.”

Hermione, Draco and Harry glanced at each other.

“Of course, Professor,” Hermione said. “Marlston is quite large. I’m sure Harry and Draco can help you search. There is someone I need to call on in the village so I will be out the rest of the afternoon.”

“Are you sure you want to go alone, Hermione?” Harry asked. “One of us can go with you.”

“I’ll be fine, Harry,” she said. She stood up and turned to Bugger, who was waiting nearby. “Bugger, please escort Mr. Malfoy to the library and then have the carriage brought around.”

“Yes, Mistress,” Bugger bowed and waited for Lucius to stand. Lucius made his way over to Hermione and took her hand once again.

“Thank you, my Lady, for your hospitality. I wish you a pleasant afternoon,” he lifted her hand and kissed it again. He was very subtle but Hermione could feel that Lucius Malfoy being flirtatious with her and she was very uncomfortable with it. How the others couldn’t see it, she did not know.

He left with Bugger and Hermione said to the others, “Good luck in your search,” before she turned to leave.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The carriage pulled up in front of Meri’s cottage and Hermione was surprised to find the front door wide open and two cups of tea steaming on the kitchen table. She stood within the doorway and called out, “Meri?”

“Come in, my Lady,” Meri’s voice called from another room.

When Meri came out of a back room Hermione said, “Is this a bad time to visit?”

“Oh no, I’ve been expecting you,” Meri smiled. “Please sit down and make yourself comfortable.” She took Hermione’s coat and scarf from her and Hermione sat down.

“Your foresight is amazing Meri,” Hermione smiled. “I apologize for not sending you word earlier.”

“It’s no trouble at all,” Meri said as she took a seat across from Hermione. “How are things up at the manor?”

“It’s a lovely place,” Hermione said, “but it does take some getting used to. Marlston has many secrets it seems.”

“And you’ve come to me for answers?” Meri asked.

“Yes,” Hermione admitted. “I wish to know anything you can tell me.”

“I don’t know all the secrets of Marlston, my Lady,” Meri said. “I’m not sure that there is anyone who does.”

“But you’ve lived in this village a long time, haven’t you? Did you know my parents?”

“Aye, as well as a villager can know her Lord and Lady,” Meri replied. “A powerful witch and wizard they were.”

“Who was the heir, my father or my mother?” Hermione asked.

“Your mother carried the blood. She was an only child, like you are.” Meri studied Hermione’s face with her keen eyes and said, “There’s something weighing heavy on your mind, child. And it’s the real reason you’ve come here to see me.”

Hermione sighed, warming her hands on the hot mug in front of her. “There is something, Meri. Do you know about the Hall of Portraits at Marlston?”

“I have heard of it,” Meri answered. “But I’ve never seen it. It contains the portraits of your ancestors, does it not?”

“Yes,” Hermione nodded, “and also of every Dark Lord.”

Meri nodded as if this wasn’t news to her. “So you saw your parents?” Meri saw the Hermione’s face pale a moment as she nodded.

“I…,” Hermione began nervously. Did she really want to know this? She wasn’t sure anymore. Meri, however, took the question from her.

“You want to know which was your father,” Meri stated. Hermione cast her eyes down and nodded. “Why would you think I know this answer?” the old woman asked.

“Well, I didn’t of course,” Hermione said. “It’s just that, perhaps, you may have heard talk at the time or maybe my parents said something to one of the villagers.” Hermione sighed heavily. “I just can’t seem to stop wondering about it. I mean, what if…?”

“What if you’re the daughter of the deceiver?” Meri finished for her. Hermione winced, as if hearing those words caused her pain.

The old woman remained silent for some time while she gazed at Hermione. Hermione broke the silence by asking, “Why do you call him the deceiver? I’ve never heard him referred to that way before I came to Marlston.”

Meri took a sip of her tea and studied Hermione carefully. “No one truly knows how black his heart is, save one perhaps. It was destined that he would come to Marlston and become part of the triad with Morgana and Sebastian. You know this?”

“Yes, the portraits explained how the Dark Lords all sought out the power of Marlston and became part of the triad,” Hermione nodded.

“Though the dark power chooses the infant, it chose unwisely that time for Tom Riddle cannot love. Power is the only thing he gluts himself with, filling the empty places in his soul. He accepted the place within the triad gladly for the power of Marlston drew him as nothing else would,” Meri explained, a faraway look in her eyes.

“But he was ever the sly one,” Meri continued. “He knew that Sebastian and Morgana would never allow him Marlston if he did not feign a love for them. He was a handsome man and put forth all his charm to woo and win their love and trust. He succeeded. But at the same time he courted Sebastian and Morgana, he also courted the village. He feigned generosity and benevolence towards us. He gave us his vows of protection and provided aid to those in need. We trusted him, accepted him, as our Lord and Lady did.”

“So what happened?” Hermione asked.

“A village of followers wasn’t enough for him,” Meri said. “Outsiders began arriving, ones he had invited to the manor. They would all leave with his mark burned into their flesh. His power was growing ever stronger in Marlston and all who looked upon him could plainly see this. His followers grew in number and strength and soon they were forcing other wizarding families to either become followers or enemies.”

“The villagers accepted this at the time though we were baffled at his need to dominate the magical world. Your parents followed him as well, though they did not at first see his true intentions, his ultimate goals. When he became glutted with power and blood lust, Sebastian and Morgana began to show signs of doubt. Less and less they would accompany him on his battles and campaigns against all who disagreed with him.”

“Then your mother conceived you, my Lady,” Meri smiled. “The prospect of motherhood changed Morgana Marlston as nothing had before. She pleaded with Riddle to end his war and stay with her and Sebastian to become a real family. Sebastian deeply loved Morgana, so his choice was made. Riddle, however, ignored her pleas and angrily left Marlston to pursue his war further.”

“He stayed away for over a year. You had been born and the Lord and Lady celebrated your arrival, ignoring the troubles happening in the rest of the wizarding world. Then one day, he returned to Marlston unexpectedly. Sebastian and Morgana welcomed him back, thinking that he had finally changed his mind and would share in their joy. But they did not know that it wasn’t them he had returned for. It was the power of Marlston that he needed.”

“And this, my Lady, is where I am ignorant,” Meri said with a sad shake of her head. “For I do not know what he did inside the manor, only that he tried to take something that no Dark Lord before him had ever tried to take. He broke a sacred vow. Your parents ordered him to leave, hearts broken at his deception. A month later they received a message from him. He apologized and pleaded for forgiveness, saying he did not know what had come over him to do such a thing. He asked your parents to come to him and give him another chance.”

“They must have held some love for him in their hearts still, for they agreed to go. Yet their trust had been broken, so they decided to secretly put you in the care of a distant relative while they met with him. Sebastian and Morgana never again returned to Marlston. Riddle arrived within a week of their departure and told the villagers that your parents had been killed in a battle. He insisted that we tell him where you were, as without your blood, he would not be able to enter the manor again.”

“None of us knew where you were. He still did not believe us. He and his followers killed and tortured many of us trying to get us to tell him. Then he left in a rage and he has never returned here.”

Hermione’s heart went out to the villagers at that moment and she said, “I’m so sorry, Meri.” They sat in silence for awhile and then Hermione said, “You think he killed them, don’t you? You don’t believe they died in battle.”

Meri shook her head sadly. “No, my Lady, I don’t believe they died in a battle. They no longer supported his war. Why would they go fight for him when all they wanted was to enjoy raising their child? They were deceived. And with our Lord and Lady gone, Marlston village suffered and fell into poverty. The only thing that has kept us going was the belief that you would return some day.”

Hermione was touched by this sentiment and she couldn’t help the sudden lump that seemed to be forming in her throat. “Thank you for telling me all this, Meri,” she said softly.

“We are very happy that you have returned, child,” Meri smiled kindly. “Very happy.”

Hermione stood, looking at the setting sun through the window. “It’s getting late. I need to return,” she said. “Thank you again.”

Hermione turned to walk towards the door when Meri’s voice halted her. “I did not answer your question, my Lady, the answer you came here seeking.”

“How can you know you the answer?” Hermione said. “It was foolish of me to think that anyone could.”

Hermione walked out the door and got into the carriage as Meri followed her out. “My Lady? Can you speak the tongue of the serpents?” Meri called out to her.

Hermione shook her head and said, “No, I don’t believe so.”

“Then Sebastian Marlston is your true father,” Meri said. “The ancestors of Tom Riddle all spoke Parseltongue.”

“Are you certain?” Hermione asked; hope beginning to blossom in her chest.

“Yes, of that I am certain,” Meri said.

The carriage began moving off down the road and Hermione turned her head to look back at the old woman. “But how do you know?” she asked. But Meri was now too far away to hear her.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

When Hermione returned to the manor Bugger was waiting for her by the door. He bowed and ushered her inside, taking her coat and scarf.

“Where is everyone, Bugger?” she asked.

“The masters are still searching with the professor downstairs and Mr. Malfoy has been writing letters and reading in the library,” Bugger answered.

“Has the search been fruitful?” Hermione asked.

Bugger smiled a sly grin. “No, mistress.”

“Have you had anything to do with that?” Hermione grinned knowingly at him.

“Yes, mistress,” he grinned back.

“Good,” she said. “We cannot allow the professor to know certain matters yet. Not until the three of us decide what is to be done.”

“Yes, mistress,” Bugger answered.

“Inform everyone that dinner is to be in an hour,” she said as she made her way upstairs to her room. Hermione was exhausted and cold from the frosty journey home and she wanted to take a nice hot shower before seeing everyone again.

Lucius Malfoy had seen the carriage pull up in front of the manor from the library window. He watched at Hermione made her way to the front door. Now that he no longer saw her as the mudblood busybody, he began to admire her other ‘assets.’ She had grown quite beautiful since that last time he had saw her and he could understand his son’s attraction to her. Her power and wealth were also added bonuses as well. He wondered what Draco’s relationship was with her now. Though he saw signs of obvious affection, Draco had made his relationship to Potter clear yet he did not say what his relationship to Hermione was.

Lucius heard her speaking to that blasted half-breed house elf but he could not hear what they were saying. He pressed himself close to the wall as he edged himself down the hall towards the foyer. By the time he reached the entry, Hermione and the servant were gone and he strolled out into the open, glancing up the stairs. He was startled when Bugger came up behind him and said, “Dinner will be in one hour, sir.”

Lucius turned and glared at him. “Very well,” he sneered, remembering the not-too-gentle treatment he had received from Bugger. He went up stairs to find the room he had been shown earlier. Despite his unpleasant manner of arrival, Lady Marlston had made sure he was provided with luxurious accommodations to make up for it.

He reached the top of the stairway and paused to remember which direction his room was in. Three different wings stretched out before him, one to the left, one to the right and one straight ahead. He wasn’t certain, but he believed his room was to the right.

As he made his way down the hall, he spotted movement in his side vision through a door that was slightly ajar. He froze for a moment and then pressed himself against the wall so that he would not be noticed by the one he now watched.

Hermione had just left her shower and was wrapped in a blue silk robe. Her damp skin made the silk cling to her body like a glove, her nipples poking up as the cool air found them. She was humming to herself and had sat herself down on a chaise lounge, preparing to smooth cream over her legs.

Lucius kept very still, hardly daring to breathe, as he watched her unfasten the belt of her robe, allowing it to fall open and expose all her lovely curves to his view.

His eyes darkened with lust.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

A/N I know I didn’t focus on the Snape-Kitty-Lucius sex scene too much, but there will be more coming up. I felt the need to further the plot along this time.

Also, for those who didn’t care for Harry’s treatment of Snape in Chapter 37, I just wanted to mention that Harry is very aware of what he is doing and he’s doing it on purpose. He has a lot of anger issues with this man. You don’t have to worry about Harry treating EVERYONE this way, however.

Thanks to all who have been sending reviews. I love reading them. Please keep writing to me and letting me know what you think. It really does help me. Thanks!
