Shiver


Severus scooted back against the wall, watching the door and waiting for Remus to come back in, hopefully, with Harry and Layla with him. He found that he didn't have to wait long. The door opened slowly and Severus was able to see Remus instantly, Layla right by his side with her arms wrapped around his wait. He smiled at her and she beamed back, breaking away from Remus to run over to him, jumping onto the bed next to him.

“I missed you.” Layla's arms wrapped around Severus' neck as she settled herself in his lap. He kissed her softly, but possessively, his arms winding around her waist. Remus smiled and pulled Harry into the room, closing the door behind them. Harry's eyes were wide with shock. He hadn't fully believed that he would see Severus even after Remus said that he was ok and awake. He looked at Remus for reassurance.

“It's ok, Harry. He's really here.” Remus stroked Harry's back softly as he turned his attention back to Severus and Layla on the bed. He reached for Remus' hand and squeezed it tightly. Remus stepped behind Harry and wrapped his arms around his waist, pulling him close. Harry closed his eyes and turned around in Remus' embrace, burying his face in Remus' neck. Remus closed his eyes and kissed the top of Harry's head, inhaling his scent.

Severus smiled when he saw the two of them, Layla's eyes traveling to what he was smiling at. She smiled to, turning to Severus to whisper in his ear,

“They look so cute like that.” he couldn't help but chuckle softly at that and held Layla tighter.

“Indeed they do, love. What would you think about Remus joining us, hm?” Layla stared at Severus with wonder.

“By join us, you mean... be a part of our relationship? Make our threesome a foursome?” Severus smiled and kissed her again.

“Yes, love, that's what I mean.” she smiled and leaned back against Severus, her wings curling up within her back as she did so.

“Remus, perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing?” his eyes snapped open, finding Severus' instantly. Severus smiled. He pulled back slightly from Harry, turning him around. Harry looked back at Remus before walking over to Severus' bedside.

“Welcome back, Sev.” he reached out his hand, cupping Severus' check gently. Severus grasped Harry's hand and kissed his palm, pulling Harry onto the bed with them. Harry leaned towards him, kissing him softly at first, making sure that he was in fact here again, before kissing him harder, their tongues clashing against each others. Layla smiled softly and scooted off of Severus' lap, watching the two of them wind their arms around each other, the kiss seeming to never end.

She waved to Remus and he slowly made his way towards her, watching her curiously as she rose to her knees and wound her arms around his neck.

“So, I heard a rumor that you would be joining us.” he nodded slowly, Harry and Severus continuing to kiss behind her.

“Yes, but only if no one is hurt by me joining you three. If I have to, I will distance myself from the three of you.” Layla smiled and moved forward, taking Remus' lips by surprise. Since Remus wasn't prepared for her sudden 'attack,' she was able to stroke his tongue a few times before he responded, nearly yanking her against himself, his tongue fighting back against hers.

Layla's fingers twined in his hair, Remus' hands stroking her back firmly, his finger nails causing her to shiver slightly. A throat clearing loudly brought the two of them back to reality, along with Severus and Harry. The four of them looked to the door and found Poppy and Albus standing there, Albus was amused, his eyes twinkling and Poppy was amused, too, however, she didn't think such activities should be going on in her infirmary.

“I see that you're feeling better, Severus, my boy.” Severus raised an eyebrow at Albus.

“Indeed I am, Albus. How are you?”

“Oh, I'm just wonderful.” he smiled and walked over to the four of them with Poppy following him.

“Now, Severus, there is no reason for me to keep you here, but,” she held up a hand to forestall any comment from him, “if I get wind of you straining yourself uselessly, then I will have you back up here faster than you could make a first year cry, is that clear?” she asked sternly.

“Yes, Mother.” she smiled and nodded.

“Then you may go when you wish, Severus.” he nodded.

“Thank you, Poppy, we'll be leaving in a few minutes.”

“That's good. I want you to call me if something's bothering you, all right?” she smiled once more and bustled off to go back to doing what she needed to.

“Now, Severus, I'm assuming that Remus-”

“Yes, Albus, he told me. I'm not upset.” Albus smiles, relieved.

“Good, good. If I may, from the sight we were greeted with, may I assume that you four will now be in a relationship?” Severus looked over at Remus and smiled.

“Yes, Headmaster, you can.”

“Excellent! I'll leave you four then. Good bye, until later.” Albus turned and left, most likely to head back to his office. Remus smiled at Severus and turned back to Layla, capturing her lips once more. Layla's hands moved down from his hair, down his chest to rest on the top of Remus' pants, her fingers wriggling underneath the top to press against his skin.

“Alright, you two, we should head down to our home so we can... better acquaint ourselves to each other since we now have a new member.” Harry smiled and slid from the bed, keeping an arm wrapped around Severus.

“We're coming, Sev.” Layla slid from the bed, too, grasping Remus' hand and pulling him with her as she followed Severus and Harry out of the room and down to the dungeons for the rest of the night and following days.
