Chapter 31
As Fred and Bri walked into the apartment George came into the living room with his girlfriend, Angelina Johnson with a letter saying, “Hey bro, our little bro wrote. Wanna read? I haven’t opened it yet.”
“Yeah, sure but let’s go in kitchen I want some coffee.”
“Okay.”
Once everyone was settled George opened Ron’s letter and began reading it out loud.
It read:
“Dear Forge and Gred,
How you been? I’m good. I and the other DA members have been busy getting ready for the final battle. Its coming guys, I can feel it. Plus, with the Carrows teaching us Dark Arts instead of DADA, we now have at least three adult DE’s in the school. That’s not counting all the mini-DE’s in Slytherin. Snape’s been gone a lot lately, I think he’s meeting with other DE’s around here somewhere. He’s also having a lot of Slytherin House gatherings too. Probably trying to get more followers. I and Luna have been really busy getting everyone ready for this thing. Though we do find time to “be together” when we can. We try to relax as much as we can. You know the more and more I listen to Luna in her seer-wise talks I’ve learned Harry must have it really hard and I’m really sorry I didn’t support him as much as I should have. I’m also feeling really stupid about thinking that Harry and Hermione would back stab me, that’s not them. I know they’ve gone into hiding or aren’t taking owls to protect themselves, but could you try to pass on my apologizes please. Oh, yes before I go I must tell you our little sister is now dating Neville. Don’t worry about him he’s grown quite a backbone this year. I think it might be because we’ve figured he could have easily have been Harry by what the prophecy says so he feels he has to step up and take charge. And he has especially with Ginny. Ginny still her normal self, but with Neville she’s more calm and subdued. I don’t think he’s hurting her or anything I just think someone’s finally putting her in her place, Thank Merlin! Well, we’re having another meeting soon so better go now. Talk to you soon.

“Well, Ronniekins has grown up, has he?” Fred smirked.
“Apologizing? Feeling ashamed of his actions? Running DA? Being with Luna? Yep, he’s grown up alright,” George joked as he pretended to wipe a tear away from his eye.
“I’ll write Harry to update him this time,” Fred replied as he got up with Bri and walked her to her room and went on to his own.
“Okay,” George said to his retreating brother as he proceeded to snog his girlfriend.
