Moving in
Hermione woke up first the next morning. Severus was still holding her tight. The memory of his words came back to her and she smiled.
Carefully, She slid out of the clutchs of Severus and crawled out of bed. Hermione hit the shower for an hour. She still had little twinges from her stomach, but nothing terrible.
She dressed in some trackies and a blue T-shirt and tied her hair in a pony tail. After brushing her teeth, Hermione went back into the bedroom. Severus was still asleep, so Hermione went into the living room. She was about to go to the kitchen to eat, when the floo turned on. Minerva looked out of the flames.
\"I just wanted to let you know,\" SHe said, \"That your rooms are ready, so you can come any time you want.\"
\"Thank you,\" Hermione beamed, \"is today alright?\"
\"I said any time, didn\'t i?\" Minerva nodded and then was gone. She really wasn\'t a morning person.
Hermione clapped her hand together and turned to go and tell Severus the good news when she was spun around fast and pulled into a heated kiss. After a few seconds, Hermione pulled away and smiled up at Severus.
\"What did she want?\" He asked.
\"She said my rooms are ready for me to move in. So take a look around while i pack my things, coz today is moving day.\" Hermione said excitedly.
The next few hours were spent minimizing Hermiones things and putting them into hand bags, which were minimized and put into one hand bag.
The job took longer because Severus kept popping up in every direction, kissing and touching her. Finally, she was finished and they flooed to Severus\' rooms Hogwarts.
A new door led from Severus\' living room into Hermiones. Hermiones rooms were exactly the same as Severus\', except instead of being green and silver, they were red and gold.
They were good sized rooms, with a fire place in the living room and bedroom. All in all, Hermione was happy. She tried to get Severus out while she unpacked so that she could do it quickly, but he refused to leave and followed her around instead.
It was early afternoon when Hermione was finished settling in. She slumped down on the sofa next to Severus and rubbed her eyes. Her stomach growled and she realised that she hadn\'t eaten all day.
\"You rest, i\'ll floo the kitchnes.\" Severus said firmly as he went over to the fire place.
Severus stepped into the floo and was gone. Hermione sighed. Noow she really thought about it, last night was the last time that they would sleep in the same bed. Hermione had no real time to go over it thoroughly, as Severus came back holding a tray, with two bowls of steaming soup.
He sat down next to her and handed her a bowl and a spoon and put the tray on the floor after taking his. They ate in silence and the bowls disappeared when they were finished.
\"I should go and have a chat with Minerva.\" Hermione said as she stood and Severus followed suit. She walked over to the fire place and Severus followed. Hermione turned to Severus, \"You know, now we\'re back here, you can go off and do your own thing. You\'re not in my house, so i can\'t tell you what to do. You can go out or... do anything you want. You do know that, don\'t you?\"
\"Yes,\" He said as he slipped an arm around her waist, \"But after being with you, the thought of being alone doesn\'t hold any of its old appeal.\"
\"Just because we\'re here, doesn\'t mean that we\'re never going to see each other. It only means that we have more space to roam around in. Your rooms lead straight to mine, so it\'s not like you have to walk miles, apperate or use floo to come and see me. You can go back to doing what ever you used to do.\"
Hemrione stepped out of his arm and threw some powder into the orange flames, turning them green.
\"Now, I am going to see Minerva ALONE, and you are going to do what ever you want as long as it doesn\'t involve me being within your line of vision.\" She stated as she stepped into the flames, \"Minerva\'s office.\"
Severus watched as she disappeared. She was right, he could walk from his sofa to her sofa in about seven steps. But still, he didn\'t really have anything to do.
With slumped shoulders, Severus went back to his office to clear away the five year old essays and start some new lesson plans.
