Chapter 33: You don’t love me like you should
Katie’s eyes searched the Great hall for Marcus at breakfast Thursday morning. She smiled as she remembered how they had spent Sunday together making love. His roommates had been gone for the entire day. In fact, Marcus seemed a little disturbed when neither Slytherin had shown up for dinner later that night. The next morning both Adrian and Terry looked like they were fighting again. Marcus said that they hadn’t addressed a word to each other since. Marcus also said it was very trying having your two roommates and best friends fight, or rather not fight.
“Oh Katie,” said Alicia. “Have you heard a single word I have said?”
“Yes,” lied Katie.
“What did I say then,” asked Alicia suspiciously.
“Angie was doing something,” said Katie hopefully.
“Merlin Katie,” whispered Ally. “Lee just told me that Angie and Fred broke up last night!”
“What?” hissed Katie softly.
“I know,” said Alicia. “She never told me she was chucking Fred either!”
“Why?” asked Katie with a confused look. “Fred adores her.”
“I know,” said Alicia. “Shhh..here comes Angie.”
“Angie,” said Katie. “Why did you break up with Fred?”
“Good morning, Katie, Alicia,” said Angelina calmly as she sat down beside them.
“Angie,” said Alicia impatiently.
“We didn’t break up,” said Angie quietly. “We are just taking a break and weighing our options.”
“You did so break up,” said Katie.
“Angelina,” said Oliver as he sat down beside her. “How could you do this to me?”
“What are you on about?” asked Angelina.
“How could you break up with Fred and ruin his concentration just before the final game of the Quidditch season,” said Oliver plaintively. “Not to mention what you have done to the delicate chemistry of the team dynamic.”
“The final is in three weeks,” said Katie as she rolled her eyes.
“And Angie didn’t do anything Katie hasn’t already done,” said Alicia practically. “Sorry, love.”
“What did I do?’ asked Katie.
“Besides putting your tongue down Flint’s throat,” said Lee grumpily.
“Oh,” said Katie with a wicked gleam in her eye. “Lee, that’s not where I put my tongue.”
“Merlin,” said Lee with a grimace. Alicia laughed.
“I would say that Kates here dating the Slytherin Quidditch captain would have a bigger impact on our ‘delicate team dynamic’,” said Alicia practically. “But it hasn’t. They’ve been dating for ages and we are having our best season in years. Fred and Angie are still friends. I don’t see what the problem is.”
“Why,” said Oliver plaintively.
“We want different things,” said Fred somberly. He and George joined the group at the table. “But we are still friends.” He gave Angelina a measured look that she returned.
Angie smiled at Fred after a moment and turned her attention to her meal. She gave a secret smile as she gazed towards the Slytherin table a few minutes later. Adrian gave her a teasing grin and a wink. Angie smiled into her breakfast.
Flashback: Wednesday night:
Angelina had waited for Adrian high up in the stands at the Quidditch pitch. She shivered and wondered to herself what she was doing.
“Hello Angelina,” said a soft voice that came up behind her.
“Why don’t you call me Angie,” asked the Gryffindor curiously.
“I like how your name drips off the tongue,” said Adrian. “Ahnngelleenna.”
Adrian reached down and held her hand and they sat in the darkness together.
Angie broke the comfortable silence. “I’m going to break up with him tonight,” said Angie softly. She could feel his tense body relax as she spoke.
“Are you sure,” asked Adrian. “Remember what I said to you before that night. I’m not Prince Charming.”
“No,” said Angelina steadily as she laced her hand in his. “You are not. But you are not this immoral hedonistic playboy either.”
“That’s a mean thing to say,” said Adrian lightly.
“Always making a joke to hide the way you feel,” said Angie perceptively.
“You might not like what you find when you see the real me,” said Adrian softly and uncertainly.
“I’ve seen you,” said Angie as she lightly stroked his averted face.
“All we’ve done is kiss since Sunday,” said Adrian.
“You are the one who said that women only want you for your body,” said Angie. “I want to see if this chemistry we have is real. I can still remember that night. You were right, I would have never forgotten you.”
Adrian leaned over and kissed her softly on her trembling mouth. Angie leaned into his warm seeking lips.
“You were right,” said Adrian. “I thought about that night too. I envied Weasley, you know. He had you.”
Angelina sighed into his mouth as his lips claimed her own again in a soft seeking kiss. She touched his unguarded, open face in wonder. He was just so beautiful.
End Flashback
“I wonder what’s up with Higgs and Pucey,” asked George curiously.
“I know,” said Lee. “Those two used to be thick as thieves and now they never even speak to one another.”
“Katie,” asked Fred. “What do you know? Flint is the other thief in their gang.”
“Honestly,” said Katie. “Do you think Marcus tells me everything?”
“Yes,” said Alicia with a snort.
“We have much better things to talk about,” said Katie loftily. “Besides, I’m much too busy copying down Marcus’s Quidditch plays for him to ever pay any attention to Higgs and Pucey.”
“You do!” asked Oliver with a look of joy.
“Merlin,” said Katie. “Oliver, you are completely daft. Marcus is not as thick as you lot think he is.”
Later that afternoon:
“It’s your fault,” hissed an angry voice in Alicia’s ear.
Alicia tried to jerk away from the tight grasp Terrence Higgs had on her arm but she couldn’t break his grip. He dragged her into a dark alcove behind a tapestry. She tried to attract any Gryffindor’s attention but they had their backs turned and were too far away to hear her. She couldn’t get to her wand. He had her arms now in a tight grip against her sides.
“Let me go Higgs,” hissed Alicia.
“No,” said an angry Terry. “I think about you all the time Ally. I can’t get you out of my mind. I see you wrapped in his arms every time I try to close my eyes. The ironic thing is that I love you both and neither of you will even speak to me anymore.”
Alicia stilled then tried harder to pull away from Terry. “You don’t love me,” said Alicia angrily.
“I wish I didn’t,” growled Terry. “Then I would not have driven my best friend away.”
Terry pushed her back up against the stone wall and leaned into her body. His mouth hovered a scant inch away from her own. Alicia tried not to tremble but her eyes betrayed her. She looked at his mouth with barely disguised hunger.
“Did you moan for him,” asked Terry huskily, “like you moaned for me? Did you scratch your nails down his back when you were having an orgasm, like you tore my back to shreds? Why did you sleep with him, tell me! Why did you go back to the room, I shared with him, to shag him? Why?”
“Because,” hissed Alicia. “I wanted you to hurt like you hurt me. Adrian told me that you loved me. I didn’t believe him. But when he kissed me, I kissed him back. Do you know why?”
“No,” said Terry with barely repressed rage.
“Besides the fact that Adrian is so very beautiful,” said Alicia with a relish as Terry paled. “He wanted me with no reservations. He didn’t think that it would hurt you as badly as it did. But I knew. I saw it in your eyes the day I went looking for Katie. I wanted to hurt you because you made me feel like I was worthless. But Adrian would never hurt you intentionally, don’t you know that? He always made excuses for you to me.”
“You are not worthless,” said Terry dully as he let her hands go. “I’m the worthless one. I am trying to make my family happy but I’m just hurting the people I really love.”
“Why don’t you make yourself happy instead?” said Alicia. She turned to leave but gasped when Terry pulled her against his body.
“I want you Alicia,” said Terry throatily. “I know you want me too.”
“I do not,” bit out Alicia.
“You are staring at my mouth,” said Terry lowly.
“I am not,” said Ally weakly. She struggled weakly then surrendered when Terry started to kiss her throat with light nipping kisses. She gripped his hair and pulled his head up so she could kiss him. Their tongues battled for control as they devoured each other hungrily.
Alicia moaned throatily when his clever fingers insinuated themselves under her skirt and into her pants. She tore her mouth away to groan when his finger slid into her soft clenching pussy. He kneaded at her softness with the palm of his hand as his other hand pushed her pants out of his way impatiently. Alicia’s hands were trembling as she undid his belt buckle and plunged her hand into his boxers.
Alicia moaned as she palmed his velvety hard penis. She stroked him hard and thrust her tongue into his mouth in time with her strokes. He stiffened and pulled out of her hand with an impatient and hurried gesture. He pulled his finger out of her soft wetness and replaced it with his throbbing erection. Alicia gasped and moaned as Terry fucked her up against the wall. He was driving into her with hard strokes. She could hear him grunt and moan incoherently as his heavy body pressed her into the stone wall. Her face flushed with her rising excitement as his strokes became harder and faster.
When he stiffened against her a minute later and grasped her hips in a tight slightly painful grip, she held him as he came in her arms. Alicia gave a small moan of disappointment as he slipped from her still hungry sheath. She gave a gasp of shock when Terry slid to his knees in front of her and slipped his head underneath her skirt.
In moments, he had her gasping frantically under his clever tongue and petting fingers. Alicia started to moan his name, as her eyelids grew heavy and drooped with passion. The waves of pleasure crashed over her with ever increasing intensity as his tongue urged her higher and higher and his fingers thrust deeper and harder. Eventually, the pleasure became almost painful and he stopped and eased her down until she was on her knees beside him.
Terry licked his lips and smiled as she panted beside him. Her hand was still buried in his hair. Alicia opened her dazed eyes and then kissed him hard and deep. Then she licked her lips after and smiled.
“Am I forgiven,” asked Terry a moment later. “I really love you Ally.”
“On one condition,” said Alicia seriously. “You make up with Adrian.”
“Adrian might not want to make up with me,” said Terry sadly.
“I have a serious question,” said Alicia. “Can you give Adrian the kind of love he wants?”
“I’m not sure,” said Terry uncertainly.
“If you aren’t sure than the answer is no,” said Alicia sadly. “Then let him go. Let him find someone who will love him the way he wants.”
“I don’t want him to walk away from me forever,” said Terry plaintively.
“Tell him with love,” said Alicia. “Don’t be cruel or unkind like you were with me. Let him see your pain and your love for him. And let him go.”
“Do you forgive me,” asked Terry quietly. “I wouldn’t forgive me if I were you.”
“I want to forgive you,” said Alicia pensively as she touched his face.
“That is a start,” said Terry gratefully.
