To Wong Foo
Disclaimer: If I owned Patrick Swayze, he definitely would have done every movie in Drag.
Warning: Silly-ness.
A/N: Ok, so yesterday\'s prescription of nyquil and anime did not work. So today I am trying thera-flu and drag queens. Unfortunately, drag-queens and thera-flu usually make me rather silly...I\'ll try to keep it serious for a while, but....\'There\'s a little latin boy in a dress crying on the stairs. Why is the little latin boy in a dress crying? Ask the little latin boy in a dress why he\'s crying," "Little latin boy in a dress....why are you crying?" ahem....today\'s chapter, "To Wong Foo, thanks for everything! Julie Newmar." One of the best damn movies ever.
To Wong Foo- (Harry)
I hate him...not Draco, though watching him shiver when I smiled evily was quite satisfying....Dumbledore. He tried to turn me into a fucking martyr, and damn near succeded, and he\'s trying to turn all of Hogwarts into my goddamned disciples. We all saw how well that worked for Jesus. Well, like hell I was going to let that happen. "I have an idea."
Draco shivered again. I\'d probably pay later for thinking about him in a way that wasn\'t pure anger. "Uhm...Harry?....Could we take the possibly, quite probably, illegal plotting to somewhere my mother ISN\'T listening in the hall?" He asked, looking over to the hall which issued a small \'eep!\'.
"hmmm....good point...." I frowned, and turned to the doorway where I saw a small flash of Draco\'s Mother\'s hair. "Lady Malfoy? Would you like to join the conversation?"
"Harry! I meant back to school!" Draco hissed, "Mother doesn\'t need anyone else searching for her!"
"Draco, darling, if the conclusion you and Harry here have come to is that Dumbledore wants you away from him, then clearly going back to school is NOT a good idea." She said. I was starting to revise my earlier thought that she was horrible. She was still stuck up, but there was definitely a cool mom hiding underneath. "No one knows I\'m here, and if you do this right, no one will know I\'m connected. I\'m a grown woman sweetie, I can take care of myself in any case."
"Plus, even though she won\'t be directly connected, my plan does concern her." I added, then turned to her, "Lady Malfoy, if my plan goes well, you might be sharing this house with quite a large number of the student body. If you have a problem with that, then let me know now and I will arrange to send them to a different estate."
"Nonsense! This manor is slightly bigger then Hogwarts, so accomidating them all should be easy. I\'ll have Dobby and the other house elves begin setting up dorms immediately. How long do you think you\'ll be gone?" She said, waving her hand in dismissal.
"Hmm...a few hours at most, sooner if everything goes well." I said, doing some calculations.
"Oh that should be plenty of time. I was top of my class in transfiguration you know." she laughed. "How many students are we talking about?Which houses?"
"About two thirds," I said, "All of the Gryffindors, most of the ravenclaws and about half of the hufflepuffs. And a few Slytherins...But I don\'t think you should set up the dorms by houses. House Rivalry is something Dumbledore thought up. Seperate them by year, that way they\'ll at least have things to talk about."
"So you\'ll be brining the younger ones then too?" she asked, taking notes.
"I can\'t risk leaving them there for Dumbledore to get his claws into." I sighed, "He could do the same thing to them that he almost did to me. He\'s got a whole fresh batch of firsties to torment."
"And some of the teachers will be on your side too, I hope?"
"Flitwick, Sprout, Sinestra...." I shook my head, "That\'s about it really."
"Hmm, well then we\'re going to need to find a few more teachers. We don\'t want those firsties to face the world completely untaught. I think I know a few people who would do just fine, but I\'d want your approval first of course." She nodded, scribbling some more, "Should I set up interviews or would you like to take care of that?"
"Wait a second, wait a second! What IS the plan exactly?" Draco said, stopping us with wild waving arm gestures. "And how come my mother knows what it is before I do?"
"Well,it was partly her idea. A mass walk-out." I said, surprised he hadn\'t figured that out yet. He still look confused so I sighed and continued, "If you take away his students, he doesn\'t have anyone to manipulate anymore. He\'ll essentially be powerless. What did you think I was going to do? Kill him?"
Draco turned red, "Well..."
"Shame on you Draco." His mother snapped, smacking him with the notepad. "I\'ve raised you better then that."
"Sorry mother, I know. Senseless murder is useless murder." he sighed and recited....ok maybe they were still evil.
"No! Hit them where it hurts most!" She said, giving him another smack. "Just killing that old fool wouldn\'t hurt him at all now would it? Not to mention that it would rally people to him and against Harry here. If anything, this walkout will show the rest of the wizarding community that Dumbledore can\'t be trusted anymore. Honestly, if the Golden Boy, the boy-who-lived no longer believes in Dumbledore\'s teachings, then who can?" Evil....but smart.
"Exactly Lady Malfoy, thank you." I said, a little hurt that Draco thought I would willingly kill anyone. Didn\'t he know me at all?
"Oh, call me Narcissa, Harry dear. I\'m going to divorce that cretin as soon it\'s safe to call my lawyer." she laughed, and Draco gaped.
"But Mother! You always said that you couldn\'t divorce him!" Draco exclaimed, though he did look happy.
"Well I couldn\'t. It would be such a social stigma darling. But now that Harry here is going to be showing everyone that both parties they rally towards are wrong, it would be a worse faux pas to STAY married to your father! Besides, I would have long ago if it hadn\'t been for the Dark Lord hovering over my head, threatening to kill me. I feel every confidence towards that young lady\'s spell casting." Narcissa smiled, "She\'s quite ingenius isn\'t she? Perhaps she\'d make a good professor?"
"Definitely." I agreed, "Hermione always comes up with the best spells...this one time she invented a spell that,"
"Hang on! So we\'re just going to go back to the school, rally the students and take them all here? How?" Draco interupted again.
"I was thinking port-keys for the younger kids, apparation and side-along apparation for the others." I said, "What do you think Narcissa?"
"Better perhaps would be floo, the fireplace here is connected to the network I believe, and I have an associate in the Floo office that can conveniently spill coffee on tonight\'s records, though I assume that the young lady who performed the charms on this house remembered to include that protection in her standard charms?"
"Of course, and knowing Hermione she probably added her own twist to it. Once, last year she," I started.
"Hold on! How are we going to convince everyone to come with us?" Draco asked, interupting yet another good anecdote.
"Well, Dumbledore\'s already done our work for us on that one," I said, slightly miffed that he kept intertupting my stories. "The entire student body would jump off a cliff if I asked them to because he feeds them that \'Golden boy\' crap. Most of the older ones have come down to the chamber to party with us, and the younger ones that aren\'t siblings of the older ones tend to idolize me because of Creevy\'s pictures, so that shouldn\'t be hard either."
"And how are you going to get them all in one place to tell them?"
"You\'ve seen the size of the chamber Draco, It\'s ten times as big as the great hall. The twins will spread the word about the walkout and give aport-key to the chamber to students who want to go. The ones who don\'t will be given memory loss toffee so they can\'t spill the beans to Dumbledore. Then, during the feast, I\'ll give the signal, we\'ll use the port-keys en masse and floo from the chamber to here." I said.
"That sounds like a lot of work Harry, the feast is starting in a half hour!" Draco said, "Do you really think we can pull it off?"
"I\'m not saying it won\'t be difficult..." I said, frowning, "But it will work yes...I\'d better use the floo now to talk to Ginny so she can tell Hermione and the twins....Draco. I need you to stay in the chamber. I don\'t want Snape finding out about this and warning Dumbledore."
"Harry, I wouldn\'t tell Sev." he said quietly. "You still don\'t trust me huh?"
"No...."I said and he hung his head. I sighed, "No, I DO trust you. I just don\'t want Snape or Dumbledore getting you." he looked up hopefully, "We still have a lot to talk about before I forgive you."
"So....you\'re GOING to forgive me then?" He smiled.
"Maybe. Now come on. We need to hurry. Narcissa? You know what to do here?"
"Of course Harry." Narcissa said, without looking up from her notepad. I thought I saw a ghost of a triumphant smile. "Oh and Harry?" She called as Draco stepped into the Floo, "WHEN you forgive my son, you and I are going to have to have a nice long heart to heart. Understood?"
I grinned, "Yes ma\'am."
A/N: I got distracted by the patrick swayze in a dress-ness....sorry this took so long!
