                                                                                                                                                       -Rain-

Stretching his arms up above his head, bumping into the magic shield he had above him to protect him from the pouring rain, Harry looked out into the field he had created by tearing down a number of trees which he used for firewood. Standing out in the field was his family, the Cullen's, playing a game of baseball.

Tossing a wave towards his lover, Edward, who was standing in the outfield, Harry then reached out and picked a few herbs from his garden along with the tomatoes and peppers that were ready to be picked.

Standing up, the shield moving with him, Harry made his way into the house to put the herbs and vegetables in the kitchen.

Turning around to head back outside, Harry was gently pushed back against the counter by Edward.

“Sneak away from the game?” Harry asked, wrapping his arms around Edward's neck.

“Yeah. I don't think they'll notice.” Edward said with a grin, leaning in to nuzzle Harry's neck.

“We noticed!” Came Emmett's voice from outside.

Laughing, Harry said, “Even the rain and a rain fall ballgame won't stop Emmett from noticing if it leads to a chance to tease us.” Turning his head towards the window, Harry called out a little louder, “And Emmett, you can forget that you noticed it or else I won't get you any blood pops!”

“Forgotten!” Emmett called back.

Smiling, Harry shook his head with a laugh and said, “I love your family.”

“And they, and I, love you as well. You became a part of our family the second we met you.”

“Maybe soon enough I'll be joining you all on your rainy day baseball games.” Harry said, giving Edward a look.

“Does...does that mean you want to be turned? I thought you said you didn't want to be turned?”

“I was afraid to. Worried that I wouldn't be strong enough to not hurt humans, but I realized that you and the others wouldn't allow me to hurt them and, I've realized that I wouldn't hurt them because I'm strong enough with you at my side.”

“You'd be strong enough even without me, but I'll be by your side no matter what to help you and protect you whenever you need it.”

“That's going in your wedding vows!” Alice called out to them. “And you didn't tell me no listening so you don't get to tell me no blood pops!” She added before Harry could respond.

Laughing, Harry pressed a kiss to Edward's lips and nuzzled closer to him. This family was the best and he was glad he had found them and his mate.
