Chapter 31..Dreaming in Blood

Chapter 31...Dreaming in blood

Winter paced her room. Draco should of been here by now. It never
took him this long to slip through the dark corridors. She sat down in front of fire.
Curling her feet up, and sipping a cup of tea. Twenty minutes ticked by
slowly. The warm tea had made her sleepy, and her eyes began to get
heavy. Sleep came hard these days, and it was never enough. It overtook
her with a vengence, ppinpping her hard into another nightmare world.

The bonfire burned brightly, warming the cold Halloween air. Many dark
robed figures stood around it in the stillness. It looked like a cornfield, a
neverending one. Except for the circle in the middle there was nothing to
be seen, it was pitch black.

She tried to hide, but knew she was seen by all. Every pair of eyes that
looked out from dark masks were locked on her. The two nearest her stepped
back and out, making a passage into the circle. She was still dressed in her
robe from the ball. After she had passed them the two Death-Eaters once
again closed the circle of their brothers and sisters of the dark.

Winter could see someone, something, a shadow that neared the fire. It
kept coming slowly, and to her horror walked straight through the towering fire between them. A figure in black emerged unscathed by the flames. For a
moment she was sure she had seen his eyes glow red. His face was gaunt,
and sickeningly long, unnatural in its looks. Draco had told her enough to
know who this was. Lord Voldemort was in her dreams.

\"Welcome to our little circle, Karhem.\" His airy husky voice was enough to
make your veins turn to ice.

\"Don\'t call me that.\" She stared angrily through the hair that had
fallen over her eyes.

\"Does your insulance come through bravery or stupidity?\" His face was
twisted in a mixture of anger and wanting.

\"Neither. I fear you not, Voldemort.\" This sent a wave of murmers from
the other Death-Eaters. It died down as he eyed them with a fierce
glance around.

\"You may not think you are, but deep down I know there is something
you fear about me, about the dark.\" He was making circles around her
as he spoke. Smelling her loudly as he took deep breaths. \"I can smell
fear on you like cheap perfume. What is it, my dear? You say you do
not fear me. Do you fear for someone else? \"

With his snake like face it was quite easy to make her tounge change,
to force out the air that was needed for Parseltounge.

\"Akasia secours koshous mesious keel.\"
(You deserve to die a thousand deaths.)

The circle of Death-Eaters erupted in a chaos of yelling and screaming.
Some punching their fists into the air, some just froze with suprise.
Voldemort was taken aback by her words. Parseltounge? This girl knew
Parseltounge? His Death-Eaters were furious, but they held the circle
like they always did. They had no idea what she even had said, but knew
it wasn\'t good. No one spoke Parseltounge but their , an, and Harry
Potter\'s power came from Voldemort himself. No one else had the power.
It frightened them.

\"SILENCE!\" Voldemort roared at them. They settled in a matter of
seconds, eyes still angry from behind their masks.

Only one pair of eyes held something different. The grey eyes that looked
orom rom behind their mask stayed unmoving, fixed on Winter as the figure
shifted restlessly from foot to foot.

The eyes of the dragon, her dragon. Draco\'s haunting gray eyes were
staring at her. Trying to hold some form of composur. They pleaded with
her silently from behind the mask. Not daring to look away but trying not
to draw attention to his blatent staring.

Winter forced herself to look away. Back into Voldemort\'s eyes she dared
to look, and behind them she could see much. He was more animal than
human now. She could sense it, just like any other animal. He was a
strange mix of animal blood and scent, but held human emotion within.
Voldemort was a volatile mix of human and beast. An unearthly combination
of barely human skin and a frightning large amount of different kinds of blood.
She pushed harder into his eyes. Yes, mostly snake.

Voldemort shook his head swiftly, breaking her hold. Letting his red eyes
flare at her.

\"Little earth witch,\" he cooed at her, \"Did you really think that would work?\"

\"I didn\'t need it to work for long.\" She smiled a half-smile that looked
much like Draco\'s.

\"You are unlike so many others.\" He folded his hands before continuing.
\"You know who I am, yet you do not fall at my feet. You are indeed a
strange girl. The stories that have filled my ears about you seem to be
true then.\"

Winter stood at straight as she could get. Looking at Voldemort with a scowl. \"Depends on what you have heard. I know who watches me. Don\'t
think for one moment I am some stupid schoolgirl. Drop the nice act,
Voldemort. We both know you want me, to drain me. Make me your next
lap pet. Like Nagini.\"

Voldemort was beginning to lose his patience. This girl new too much.
But how? He wanted to slowly bring her into his circle, use her for as long
as he could. Only now she had no fear of him, but something held her back.
If only for a moment.

\"Nagini? How do you know of Nagini?\" Anger becoming appearant in
his voice.

Winter held out her long arm pointing somewhere behind him. \"She\'s right
there, and she told me everything I need to know. So did you, and you didn\'t
even have to utter one word.\"

\"Liar!\" His snake like nostrils flared. \"You lie, Karhem! Nagini is mine, she
belongs to me. She would not betray me so quickly!\"

\"Shdn\'dn\'t betray you. She only told me what I asked her. Rather
sent me pictures.\"

\"Pictures? From the mind of an serpent? You stupid girl they do you
no good.\" He laughed in his relief. This girl knew nothing.

\"Really?\" She looked around wildly at the circle of robes figures.
\"Why don\'t you ask the LeStranges that?he the two robes figures on her
right began to look back at forth at each other. \"Or maybe Crabbe and
Goyle senior over there.\"

Voldemort let out a gutteral yell of frustration. Nagini had in a sense
shown her every death-eather unmasked. A mental list of all his minions.
If he didn\'t wish to have her power so badly, he would of killed her right
there. How dare she even think of trying to mentally best him?

\"Do I need to continue?\" Winter raised her voice and spoke to the circle
around her. \"Know this Death-Eaters most of your children are mine! If I
don\'t know your name I know your face. I will seek out your children at
Hogwart\'s and they will follow me. Twillwill not continue your cycle of
hatred! The next generation will stand on our own!\" Winter was screaming
by now. Full of anger and contempt. \"You are the last of your kind!!!!!\"

Voldemort was on her now, grabbing her head painfully in his withered
hands. His stinking breath inches from her face. Seething at her words,
his face distorded in rage.

\"SILENCE!! Shut your foul mouth at once! You will learn respect for me,
Karhem. You pro proven to me how smart you think you are, but your
power lives in my shadow! You will never grow strong enough to even
think of beating me.\"

She struggled through the pain and whispered, \"We shall see.\"

He smiled thickly at her, his sharp teeth glinting against the fire. He
ground his hands more sharply into her head and she cried out. Voldemort
only spoke one word.

\"BLEED.\"

Winter felt the stinging in her face as a burning jolt rushed into her.veryvery one of her empty peircing holes were reopening painfully. Scar
tissue tearing itself in two as the blood began to trickle from her nose
and lip. Another rush tore through her eyebrows ripping four new gaping
wounds. Blood running in eerie lines down her face. Stripeing her face
like a macabre candy cane.

Voldemrelereleased her at last. Dropping her, still bleeding on the ground.
She risked a glance a Draco. His eyes were wet behind the blank mask.
Only his eyes gave away his true emotion. She hung her head and let the
blood drip unto the reddening ground. She felt defeated, full of pain, and
hopeless. This was futile. It was over before it really had begun.

Lord Voldemort was laughing over her, and the other death-eaters had
began to do the same. A loud circle of emotional torture. Laughing at her
pain, reveiling her torture. Like true death-eaters.

She broke down, the pain was too much. Her face burned like fire, and
the blood in her eyes stung horriably. Her tears began to flow with the
thought, \'I can\'t do this alone. I\'m too weak. I\'m defeated already.\'

Blood mixed with tears began to fall more quickly from her face. Staring
at the ground not being able to lift her head. Suddenly as they hit the ground
they began to seperate from each other the blood moving away from her
tears. They weren\'t sinking into the ground anymore either. They were pulling
themselves apart. Flowing apart into seperate small pools, then suddenly
coming together again. A red circle with a silver lightning shaped scar within
it.The scar was plain as day, just like Harry Potter\'s.

She smashed her fisto tho the liquid symbol, and woke violently. Still sitting
in front of her now dying fire. Chest heaving, panicking for a moment.
A dream, it was all a dream. Vivid, too vivid. She looked down at her
trembling hand. It was still covered in blood, her blood. She ran stumbling to
the mirror. Winter could do nothing but scream at her reflection.
