Chapter Thirty-One
Hi all! I felt inspired today so knocked out two chapters. I was sorely tempted to make this only two paragraphs long!
Lentesco – Chapter Thirty-One
Severus didn’t even bother to open the letter that came for him, wrapped in the distinctive silver and green ribbon. He had a drawer full of them, but somehow he couldn’t quite bring himself to burn them. He wanted to, very, very much. But he was afraid that one day Lucius would tell him “The answer was in a letter I sent you. Didn’t you read it?”
And Severus would be screwed. Forever.
And Harry would leave him. Of course, he realised, it was only a matter of time before Harry grew tired of putting up with his snarkiness and unpleasantness; before the boy realised that what you saw with Snape was what you got. There was no ‘nice guy’ hidden away under layers of black. Still, if the curse could be lifted, at least he could enjoy some sex with the rather delicious young man before Harry came to his senses. But would he want to? Once the challenge was gone?
Severus paced, hating himself for doing it. It was so clichéd!
When would Harry be back?
Albus had said that Harry had stayed only a month in the past, and had left to return to his own time. But no one knew if he had made it back.
And tomorrow was the 32nd day of Harry’s absence.
