Chapter 30
Chapter 30
Chloe taught her classes all morning with her head buzzing with happy thoughts. She had just finished her lecture on methods of communication of muggles, when a brown owl swooped into her classroom and landed on her desk. Her students didn’t seem too interested in the owl. They just continued taking notes as she untied the letter from the owl’s leg.
Chloe opened the letter and read the very short message.
She felt a blush grow from her neck to the top of her head.
“Is everything alright Professor?” A girl asked her. Chloe nodded yes and folded the note in her pocket.
“Yes. Everything is fine. Now…the Halloween feast will be this evening. I assume you all will be on your best behavior…” She smiled slyly to her students. Snickers and laughter filled her classroom as the bell rang. Her students filed out of the room and waved their goodbyes.
Chloe sat at her desk and unfolded the letter once more.
‘Chloe,
Meet me outside of the front doors at half past midnight.
S.S.
She allowed herself some giggles and a sigh. She was beyond ecstatic about her night with Severus. She just couldn’t find anything that could go wrong today. Sure her ink spilled on her robes. Sure some of her students were a bit rowdy due to the holiday and not listening to her.
None of that mattered now.
Chloe sat back with a smile on her face that wouldn’t go away.

Severus sat in his office and waited.
The Halloween feast would be upon them soon. It wasn’t the feast, or the holiday festivities that excited him. It was what he had planned afterwards that made a sly smile spread across his face like melted butter.
He knew he was never going to be considered a romantic man. But he did know Chloe pretty well. He knew what she liked, what she didn’t like and what made her smile.
That, in turn, made him smile.

A/N: I know that was short. Hmmm...I wonder what Severus has up his sleeve? Yummy, lemons perhaps? *giggles* Well...it should be up soon. I look forward to reviews! I guess you are all waiting for the lemons to fall from the trees. Don\'t worry, it will come! I prefer to keep thier \"lemon sessions\" real and special. they are not just shagging each other.
