Daimons the Final Chapter
The Daimons Final Chapter
Severus screamed until his voice was raw. It was bad enough to deliver his son two months previously but giving birth to this tiny obstinate little girl was the most painful thing he had ever endured. Draco and Ron stood by his bed giving as much support as they could to the irritated, irascible man who was trying to give birth to their daughter, Lucy Malfoy Weasley.
“Sev, relax and take deep breaths, you’re almost there,” Draco said reassuringly.
Grabbing Draco by the shirt collar, the Potions Master pulled him down until their noses were nearly touching. Growling between clenched teeth Severus said, “When you deliver the parasite that’s growing inside you and feel him inch his way down your channel, then you can tell me what to do. Until then keep your fucking pretty little lips shut.” He shoved Draco away, sending the young wizard flying.
Draco blushed, remembering how his lover ravished his body the night Ron had talked him into dressing in a red corset, garter, and high heels. Ron couldn’t get enough of him, making love to Draco for the whole night. He lovingly rubbed his rounded stomach and smiled. Having three children to start Ron and his life together was a little overwhelming but Ron assured him that their lives only could get better by having so many children around. Besides he promised Draco that Molly would love to take care of the children when they needed time alone.
“Leave the boy alone and concentrate on pushing,” Del informed Severus. “It will soon be over with… at least until Arm knocks you up again.”
“That will be a cold day in hell…” Severus moaned as another contraction over took him.
“Her head in crowning, it will only be a few more minute. You’re doing fine…”
“Shut up and deliver the cursed child,” Severus told the Daimon.
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Outside Armstrong was joined by some of his and Severus’ closest friends. Severus’ son was almost lost in the large arms of his husband, who was talking with Silverrage. Remus had given over the alpha position to Silverrage the night before. The new alpha was planning to take the pact back into the forest to live. He was there to say his good-byes and wish Arm and his new friends well.
Harry sat quietly, by himself, as he read the autopsy of Voldemort. It had taken all this time to find out what killed the Dark Lord. He was pleased and yet rather upset by the findings. The prophecy predicted that he was the one destined to destroy Voldemort but a slow acting poison seemed to be what finally killed him. The Dark Lord was a dead man walking, courtesy of Malfoy but it was Harry’s last thrown curse that drained what little strength he had left sending him to his demise. He wondered; did he or did he not kill Voldemort? He knew it was a question that would never be answered satisfactorily but he would always wonder if the prophesy was real or an elaborate hoax on him and the Wizarding World.
“Harry, stop thinking about it.” Remus sat next to Harry while he cradling Emma. The werewolf understood the boy wonder was perplexed and unhappy, he also understood the calming effect Emma would have on Harry. The tension in Harry’s face melted once he felt Emma’s aura surround him.
“It’s going to be a long sixteen years,” he sighed as he smiled down at the child that one day would be his wife. She cooed and giggled as she reached for Harry.
“None of that, young lady,” Remus instructed his daughter. “You have to wait just as long as Harry does.”
Emma whimpered and unhappily squirmed in his arms.
Neville walked hand in hand with Miriam up to the small group. He beamed as he lifted his fiancée’s hand to show the small diamond ring on her left finger.
“Miriam, really? You’re going to settle down?” Armstrong asked. He knew the two of them had been an item for some time but never thought that the wild little Daimon would ever settle down.
“Yes.” She looked lovingly up at Neville. “He captured my heart and soul. He’s like no man I’ve ever met.” It was true. Daimons were the epitome of what Neville wasn’t. He was kind hearted, tender, and supportive, not like the Daimons that were self consumed and domineering.
“Congratulations.” Harry stepped forward to give Miriam a friendly kiss on the cheek but thought better of it. They had been lovers for a short time and didn’t think Neville would appreciate him near his fiancée. Little Emma seemed to sense what Harry’s intentions were and started to wail and scream at the top of her tiny lungs.
“It seems Harry that you should take a step back if you want Emma to stop screaming,” Remus informed Harry.
“Possessive little thing, isn’t she?” Miriam asked, as she cling a little closer to Neville.
“No more that I am,” Neville replied as he raised her fingers to his lips and kissed them.
A cry, followed by a scream came from inside Del’s home.
“It’s about time,” the large Daimon said as he marched up the step with the intention of seeing his husband. He had been banned from entering until after the delivery of Lucius’ child. After the scene he made at the birth of his son, Del made sure that he would not interfere in the delivery of the second child. Now, all bets were off. Armstrong used his back to force the front door open as he held David in his arms.
“All right, I’ve waited long enough. I want to see my husband… now!” he roared.
“Give it a rest Arm,” Del said as he exited the delivery room while drying his hands. “Severus is doing fine and is anxiously waiting to see David.”
“Are you implying that he’s not anxious to see me?” Armstrong snarled. Since the birth of their son Armstrong had become a bit jealous of David. True, Severus was still caring and was nursing their son, but it seemed that his husband had little time for him.
“I am ‘saying’ he wants to see his son. Arm… Severus has delivered two children in the last two months. He is not anxious about anything at the moment. Give him a month or two to rest up before you start to overreact,” Del explained in a mentoring way.
“I ‘want’ my husband. I’m not use to going this long without some relief,” the Daimon grumbled. “I can’t tolerate having to wait to have my fill of him.”
“You will wait,” Del ordered, “even if I have to keep him here in my house for his own protection.”
“He’s my husband and he will stay with me,” Armstrong snarled. “Now I’m going to see my husband.” He pushed pass Edelman entered the delivery room. Severus was washed and was wearing a fresh nightshirt. The Daimon noticed the longing in his face as Severus watched closely Draco and Ron holding their child.
Severus wanted to hold the beautiful child next to his breast and never let her go but Lucius and, he had no doubt, Voldemort’s daughter belonged not with him but Draco and his growing family. The fact he suspected that the little girl was the Dark Lord’s spawn would go to the grave with him. She deserved a good life, not one marked by the stigma of being Voldemort’s child.
Before sitting on the edge of the bed Armstrong placed their son into Severus’ arms and placed a kiss on top of his freshly washed hair.
“You okay?” the Daimon asked placing his broad hand over his husband’s much thinner ones.
Smiling bitterly, Severus answered, “Not yet, but I think in a few weeks everything will be just fine. I have to keep reminding myself, even though I carried her within me for almost three months, she is not my child. She belongs, rightfully, to them.” Tears filled his eyes as he nodded at the young couple that was cooing at their new daughter.
“I will give you a daughter,” Arm informed Severus.
“I highly doubt that. There is a very strong possibility that you may never touch this body again,” Severus snarled at his husband.
“We’ll see,” was Armstrong’s simple reply. He knew that Severus’ libido was more active than his own and that he had no doubt that, after a little rest, Severus would soon be the aggressor. He just wondered if he could wait that long.
Ron, not showing any signs of wearing an artificial leg, carried Lucy over to introduce his daughter to Armstrong.
“This angel in my daughter,” Ron said proudly. “Her name is Lucy. Isn’t she the most beautiful child there ever was?”
“I admit that she is a beauty and no doubt will break many a heart as she grows but I must disagree with you. Our David is far more beautiful,” Arm informed Ron.
“How can you compare the two? Your child has Snape’s nose,” Ron said without thinking.
You could hear a pin drop the room became so quiet.
It was Severus that finally broke the silence in the room. “They both come from my body. They are equally wonderful. Now introduce Lucy to David. Since the two were womb mates, I suspect the two will become fast friends.”
Ron leaned in and laid Lucy next to David and immediately a swirl of golden lights started to engulf the two. Severus tried to pull David to his chest but was unable to pull his son from the glow that surrounded the two babies. Instinctively Severus understood why that it was so important that he carried Lucius’ child to full term. She was destined to be his son’s mate, bonded, more than likely, before they were even bourne.
“Crap,” Armstrong snapped. “When you’re well enough we are leaving Hogwarts,” he informed his husband. “When our son meets his bonded again they will be sixteen. Until then the two of them shall be separated. I will not have a love sick child moping around for the next sixteen years.” Severus tears started to flow as he looked at Lucy. The thought of not seeing her grow was heart breaking.
“Severus,” the Daimon said understandingly, “you are a wizard and capable of popping in and visiting any time you wish. I will not deny you the chance of being in your goddaughter’s life.”
Severus smiled a little. He was looking forward to his hormones calming down and getting back to his irascible self. He looked about the room at his extended family. A year ago he would have never had guessed what the fates had in store for him. He loved Armstrong more that he could really comprehend. He had a life… a wonderful life, one he never thought he deserved. He suddenly realized that he felt a foreign feeling. Stopping to think how he felt he finally understood he was, for the first time in his life, happy. He would cherish every moment that was given him. He still wasn’t sure that the fates weren’t playing a trick on him by giving him everything he had ever truly wanted only to be stripped of it in the future. But for now, and it seemed for the foreseeable future, he had the life he had always wanted.
The End
P.S. If you are wondering where Gavin and Hermione are, they are on their honeymoon.
Sorry for the long delay. Going to finish the Headmaster then work on Paradise by the Sea... Hope you enjoy the final chapter.
