Chapter 3- Nicknames & Game Plans

Harry awoke the next day with a smile. \"And what are you smiling about this
early in the morning?\" asked a sleepy Ron from the next bed. \"What\'s not to smile about? It\'s a beautiful day. We don\'t have Snape again until tomorrow. And I snogged Leigh last night!\" he laughed. \"What? You\'re dating Leigh? You sly devil! They\'ve only been here for what? Not even two days! Tell me all about it!\" he pleaded. Harry explained the previous nights events, which left Ron\'s mouth agape. \"You lucky bastard! I was gonna make a move on her today. Oh well, there\'s always Cyndi, she quite a looker too. Congrats Harry.\" Ron smiled. \"Good luck with Cyndi, I\'m gonna go take a shower.\" he replied and then headed off to the bathroom.

After his quick shower, Harry got dressed and headed down to the common room to meet up with everybody for breakfast. When Harry entered the common room he noticed everybody talking animatedly about their classes. {It\'s nice to see everyone getting on well.} He smiled as he searched for Leigh amongst the crowd. His eyes finally fell upon thende nde beauty, she was seated on the couch next to Hermione and Jared. He walked over and took a seat next to Leigh on the couch. \"Guess who?\" he said as he covered her eyes with her hands. \"Hmmmm....Professor Snape?\" she automatically felt his hands tense. \"Just joking Harry,\" she laughed. \"Not funny.\" he said sulking. \"Oh shut up. You know that you\'re my cowboy.\" she joked. \"Cowboy, eh?\" Hermione snickered. \"Will the cowboy please pass me my Muggle Studies book from the table beside him?\" He passed her the book, \"Here you go, Herm-own-ninny.\" he laughed. Hermione just sat there
with look that said, I\'m-gonna-get-you-for-that.

\"We ought to be heading to breakfast now. We\'ve got Transfiguration first thing this morning.\" Harry said quickly, double-checking his schedule. \"Well then, get your asses moving,\" prompted Leigh smiling brightly.

After breakfast, they made their way into the Transfiguration classrom with five minutes to spare. \"Aileen has begun brewing the potion for tonight\'s game.\" said Leigh with a wink. \"I shudder to think what game requires you to brew a potion.\" Harry choked out. \"An immensely fun game.\" giggled Cyndi.

The class went smoothly with Leigh actually winning back a few points for
Gryffindor. \"How did you know so much about the Animagus transformation Leigh? asked Ron inquisitively. \"Because I am an Animagus,\" she laughed. \"You are? Are you registered? What animal are you?\" asked Hermione excitedly. \"Of course I\'m registered. Have been for two years now.\" she replied. \"Is anyone else from your school an Animagus?\" asked Ron. \"Umm....Eric, January and Jeannie are.\" she replied smoothly. \"What are you?\" asked Harry. \"A Wolf.\" she replied. \"What about Eric, January and Jeannie?\" asked Hermione quickly. \"Eric is a horse, January is a hummingbird, and Jeannie is a ferret.\" she replied plainly. Harry, Ron, and Hermione suddenly burst out laughing. \"What\'s so funny?\" Leigh asked
curiously. Ron happily filled her in on the encouter in fourth year that left
Malfoy bouncing around the hall as a pure white ferret. \"Then Jeannie and Malfoy are perfect for each other!\" laughed Leigh.

Harry and Leigh shared a quick kiss before going to their classes. Harry was off to Divination with Ron, while Leigh headed off to Arithmancy with Hermione.

After predicting Harry\'s death for the umpteenth time, Trewlawney calmly turned to the rest of the class and assigned them a particularly lengthy essay on the pros and cons of Crystal-gazing. Harry had a sneaking suspiscion that his and Ron\'s loud laughter at her prediction earlier had led her to pile on the extra work. Nevertheless, they both got through the rest of Divination quite nicely.

\"Hey there Sugar Pie!\" snickered Harry as he sauntered over to Leigh and took a seat next to her in the Great Hall. She glared at him, \"My name is not sugar pie.\" she replied through gritted teeth. \"Well, if you can call me Cowboy, although I have no idea where that can from, then I should have a nickname for you.\" he whined. \"Ok, anything but sugar pie though. Got any other ideas?\" she replied giving him a quick kiss. \"How about......MINE!\" he laughed. \"Very funny.\" she replied giving his arm a playful smack. Harry raised his hand to his face and sat there looking as though deep in thought. \"How about Gryffindor Whore?\" said Jeannie coldly from behind. Leigh was about to say something very nasty in return when Harryhandhand clamped tightly over her mouth. \"McGonagall is coming, dont say anything.\" he said quickly as he lowered his hand from her face. Jeannie just sneered and headed off towards the Slytherin table. \"Thanks, I wouldn\'t have been able to stop myself,\" Leigh laughed. \"I know,\" he replied with a grin.

\"What are you two laughing about?\" asked Ron as he took a seat next to Harry. \"Nothing, where did you go? You were right behind me when I entered the Hall.\" asked Harry with a raised brow. \"I was talking to Cyndi.\" he blushed. Harry noticed Cyndi had taken a seat next to Ron shortly after Ron had sat down, her face just as red as Ron\'s. \"Oh, I see. A little snogging session in the broomcloset before Lunch eh?\" said Harry laughing. The two red heads just laughed at each other and smiled. \"That\'s great. I wonder if anyone else has hooked up yet.\" smiled Leigh. \"Well, how many of you are single?\" asked Ron. \"Well, I know Jared, Aileen, & Sebastian are. Nancy and Eric are an item as well as January and Marcy. And Jeannie will have already fucked half of Slytherin by now.\" replied Leigh with a laugh. \"I saw Jeannie and Malfoy together earlier, not a pretty sight.\" replied Harry. \"Well, we should fix up Aileen, Jared, and Sebastian up with some fellow Gryffindors then. But fix them up with whom?\" said Leigh with a sigh. \"How about we fix up Aileen with Neville, she told me that she thought he was cute yesterday.\" replied Cyndi. \"Yeah, they would make a good pair. How about we fix Sebastian up with Lavendar. She\'s not seeing anyone is she, Harry?\" Leigh asked casually. \"Not that I know of.\" he replied. \"Well that just leaves Jared then. How about......Hermione?!\" Leigh asked enthusiastically. \"They would look so cute together!\" remarked Cyndi happily.

\"Fine, it\'s settled then. Tonight we will play two games. One for fun, and one to get our friends to shack up!\" laughed Leigh. Harry and Ron looked at each other with raised eyebrows, \"Somehow, I think we will regret this evening.\" Harry sighed as the girls went on about how cute everybody looked together.
